Holly and Gren
Did anyone else really like these two? I considered most of the characters assholes but these two I particularly really enjoyed! I actually think they're my favorite characters XD like, sure, they may act like a pain in the ass in Ep1 and the start of Ep3, but still, they're pretty cool people who are in a bad situation!

I did too. They started off as assholes, but I warmed up to them quickly. Tough exteriors with softness underneath. :] They're my favorites after Bigby.

I've always liked Holly and Gren, especially after the 3rd episode.
Gren high was hillarious! They are my favs right next to Georgie.
Yeah I eventually felt(sort of) bad for ripping off grens arm, but I stand by my decision. Wish I could have ripped the jersey devils limbs off though
Well you can rip off his antler horn thing and stab him with it if that makes you feel better.
They're my favourites! I love 'em to bits and treat them well if I can. If there is a season 2, I really want them to come back.

But I was wondering, I was just assuming they were together the whole game, and then I wasn't so sure anymore when others said they didn't get that impression at all. What do you think?

Eh, I think they were just good friends.
I don't know, Gren was pretty protective of her and definitely only showed a softer side with Holly, so maybe. But they could be just old friends too.
Too bad we didn't see them interacting without Bigby getting in the way, lol!
They were two of the best characters introduced.

You mean the scene at the bar when he asks if she's really okay with him leaving? That's what I thought, he was very protective, more than I would expect from a good friend. He never was that nice to anyone else, expect maybe Lily judging by his card at the funeral.
Oh and I thought it was so nice to see Gren smiling at Bigby in the last scene, such a difference from his introduction.
I can understand seeing them as a couple, but the way I look at it, Grendel isn't a people person. His Book of Fables entry even states that he "just wants to be left alone." With this in mind, I think he just gets extremely protective of anyone he happens to get along with - he defends the Woodsman pretty stubbornly in episode 1.
I also loved his smile at the end. So refreshing from his usual scowl. :]

Could very well be, maybe you're right. But the possibility is still good enough for me, in my mind they are together
I really liked them, even during the first episode. They are rough around the edges, and certainly lacking in elegance or manners department. But they are also honest, loyal, and have their heart in right place. There is a certain dignity to them, especially when compared to some whiny, spoiled members of Fabletown's nobility (looking at you, Beauty and Beast).
