  • Yeah, it was implied when they were talking about Lily being missing that if you want to report a crime you would have to go to the business office instead of Bigby. Which is kinda weird since Bigby has his own office. Why didnt people just go to him directly?

  • Nope. Can't say I felt much pity for him. Sure, he was in a tough spot, but so was the rest of Fabletown. That doesn't give him an excuse to murder 2 women in cold blood who wanted nothing more than to leave the wretched lifestyle he was profiting off of.

If he had expressed even a hint of remorse over what he did I might have felt enough to put him out of his misery. But he felt justified in what he did. Hell, he said he'd do it again. And that made me want to show him the same indifference he showed to Faith and Lilly.

Fuck you Georgie. "You deserve worse than this." I'm glad he took those words to his grave.

  • I left him, Thinking he would die in seconds anyway. Instead he suffers, He isn't a good guy anyway.

  • So, on Georgie, is he ever saying the phrase "I'm starting to like you; you can be a complete bastard"? This phrase appeared in the end of chapters 3 and 4 as a summary of the following chapters...

Who really remembers Georgie Porgie as a Fable? How hard a Fable can take a hit is based off how well known they are. Man the book of fables entries are really helpful

When you think about it though, how else would he have killed him? Should he have ripped Georgie's throat out instead? Bigby didn't really have a lot of options.here. I guess he could have tried snapping his neck, though that may not have occured to him.

At least he didn't create a new wound. He simply finished off the process of what was killing Georgie in the first place.

I just wish Telltale gave me the option to make his death quick by snapping his neck, instead of ripping his guts out like a sadist. I mean, I took pleasure in ripping Crooky's head off, but he elicited no sympathy from me.

In the comics, several Fables have died from getting shot or stabbed.

Should have been an option to let him go. Also, I find it ridiculous that a Fable as well known as Georgie died from that wound. Stuff like

  • His relationship with Vivian and the coercion by the Crooked Man gave Georgie a bit more depth than I would have expected, but he was still perpetuating a slave drive. It is tragic that his and Vivian's plans didn't start out that way, but he never really expressed the empathy that she did in the end.

  • Exactly. He didn't uttered a single word of remorse or caring sentiment towards his victims. The whole time, it was just "It's not my fault" "You can't blame me" "They're the ones at fault." He felt nothing about robbing two women of their lives if it meant saving his own ass. All he cared about was escaping punishment, either from Bigby or from The Crooked Man. He was a cowardly scumbag who got what was coming to him.

I really liked the scene. Georgie was potrayed very well. He was an asshole the whole way through, yet knew when he was done. The performance that caught me off guard was Vivian's. Telltale took a character with little to no character development other than being Georgie's girl or Nerissa's big sister and made me feel sympathetic towards her. Just they way she said things and the expressions she made made it feel heart tugging. I think what really got me was when she said:

"I look at Nerissa and I hate myself."

  • I was so surprised that I felt such strong sympathy for Georgie when he was dying. His regret and remorse for causing Vivian to pull off her ribbon gives him more depth to his character. It was a sad scene. I just wished that our choice of killing him was a quick and painless snapping the neck rather than pulling his innards.

  • I'm not sure if I felt bad for him or not, but putting him out of his misery was the best choice IMO. He was already suffering enough and explained what he needed to. On the other hand, I care more for Georgie than I did for Vivian. When she killed herself, I was like "Oh, well okay then." but Georgie's reaction to her dying "No no no no no" was pretty strong.

  • I did feel a bit for both, but fuck them. I hit Georgie everytime, and I wanted to pull the ribbon off Vivian. and I killed Georgie. but there were some that was kinda fucked up. letting him just suffer I think that worse, besides I wanted him to die by my hand, and also I didn't know TT was goin to be so brutal. shit I kinda like they haven't hold back, the carver kill and this Georgie "getting him out of his misery" kill were brutal and kinda fucked up . but I love it

  • I didn't feel sorry for him one bit. He was a prick from the first moment we met him to the very end, and he showed no remorse at all for murdering two women. Good riddance.

I left him to bleed out, he didn't deserve a mercy killing.

I didn't feel sorry for Georgie. His Nurembergesque "I was just following orders" excuse rang hollow to me. On top of that he is completely unrepentant to the end and tells Bigby that he'd murder the girls again. That he had an ounce of genuine concern for Vivian might have humanized him a bit, but it didn't make him any less evil or any less deserving of his fate.

Georgie had other options. Had he gone to Bigby when ordered to kill the girls, Faith, Lily, and Vivian would still be alive, and the Crooked Man would have been brought down sooner. Of course that would have required him to care about Faith and Lily, and he obviously didn't. They were disposable. He only cared about himself & Vivian.

  • what you don't think is cool??? yes is kinda fucked up, but its awesome they haven't hold back.

  • The fact that Georgie was attempting to goad Bigby into murdering him, rather than asking for a mercy killing, is an important distinction. Killing him directly, there and then, would be playing into the 'we all know what you are' mentality of many of the Fables, that weighs heavily on Bigby's shoulders.

I'm assuming you haven't read much of the comics then. I'm not going to name names, but some have died from single gun shot wounds. At least one character has died from a single stab wound.

I'm sort of on the edge of pity for Georgie. He was murderer, but he was also a man who was most likely caught up in debt to he Crooked Man and trying to protect his girl. He was not entirely good nor bad, just a tragic coward caught up in the whims of Fabletown.

  • He wasn't appologising or begging for mercy. He stated it bluntly. He did as he was told, and like a good little thug carried the order out with prejudice. That they managed to show a human side to such a character is to Telltale's credit. I wouldn't claim to feel sorry for him, but they at least gave him some depth and a perverse kind of honour.

And Georgie isn't really well known at all. Not really any more so than the ones that died from "minor" incidents.

Bluebeard is more well known than Georgie. He died from a single stab wound delivered by Prince Charming.
