Final fight - a reference to the comic?

Did anyone else find it ironical that Bigby kills Mary by shattering her into many pieces of glass - and that's exactly the same way Bigby 'dies' in the graphic novel (by breaking his glass statue into pieces)? I just thought that Telltale might've used it as a reference to the comics :)

Hmm, also, given the fact that Bigby comes back... Subtle foreshadowing?

  • The thought did cross my mind. Bloody Mary also makes a reference to Bigby's father.

Also, @Poklok does make an interesting point, since I'm also not certain that Mary is dead.

  • Um... what did you expect after clicking a "SPOILER WARNING" sign to reveal this thread?

    Oh wow.

My bad. How on earth did I miss that? Probably the stupidest thing I have ever said on these forums.

  • Don't sweat it man, at worst it was just a little silly ;)

  • SPOILERS FOR THE COMICS

I know Bigby gets shattered and dies in the comics but can someone explain how he comes back?

  • The witches of 13th floor collected his pieces with spell and waiting for his return, but for now his soul is meeting boy blue and his son in the "another world", plus Mrs. Douglas(a new villain) hides a piece and polish it to a ring,so Bigby has returned as a mindless walking dead and hunting new York's mundies at night.....

  • ...for now. I'm sure he'll properly return before Fables concludes.

  • Likewise, but I wouldn't worry too much about it. The way it's shaping up it looks like it's actually building up to it. Still though, that lingering thought of fear still stands that he won't.

  • It's okay - I completely missed the "spoiler warning" thing on this thread, too. I haven't reached this bit in the comics, yet.
