I will agree on you with that however on that subject I hope we(the player) can give our protagonist further development in ME 4. Which in way was starting to arise in ME 3 when Commander Shepard began having nightmares about the boy he/she could never save.
Ubisoft games have a tendency of remaking the same characters development. Which is kinda of a turn-off. Watch_Dogs' gameplay is brilliant, Though many players criticize the gameplay for some reasons. That's why I'm not that excited for AC: Unity.

Lol, I was Paragon in all games, but some Renegade options are really necessary and it makes everything more real. My Shepard was a good person, but fuck with him and you'll see what happens. I think ME3 was the game I chose the most Renegade options, especially in both Citadel and Omega. Fucking Brooks...
Well, I don't really care about the kid, Or any squadie that I've left to die. Those nightmares were purely Paragon-ish, And I'm a Paragade player. It's simple to me, The squadies i like survive, And the squadies I don't like, Don't survive. There's no point in mourning them.

Ok that's fair enough not everyone's gonna fell the same about every subject. To me the nightmares were a valid reflection of how I would feel. Speaking of flaws what did you think of the whole lets join Cerberus plot in ME 2.
Jokes aside, I didn't think it was bad. I'm a Spectre to the bone, But, It makes sense. You died, Cerberus rebuilt you and even The Illusive Man told Shepard that If he doesn't feel that the threat is real enough, He can go on a separate way. But I didn't trust him with The Collector Base. I know what he'd do with it. Point proven by Omega DLC. But I agree on preserving the data, As Legion said, It's just data now. But to escalate the whole galactic community, Not just the Humans.
I see Cerberus as a necessary evil. The Alliance is strictly thinking and always putting military ahead of other interests. Cerberus if purely the opposite, The Illusive Man is willing to take any means necessary and analyzes the task and see what is needed to get the job done. Mercenaries, Soldiers or Scientists. I respect The illusive Man, But i don't agree with him. And I was pissed when they mishandled him in ME3. However, That's just my opinion.

Well arg that's kinda tough on one hand Cerberus did bring me back to life on the other hand their a shady organization that morally grey. I wish their was a way for Shepard to use his Spectre and or Alliance resources to do the same thing Cerberus has supplied alas Shepard cannot. I myself destroyed the base as I did not trust the notion giving Cerberus exclusive information. On the topic of the Illusive Man himself I'm on the same of opinion that I don't trust but I respect his motives to some degree. I was disappointed too when Illusive Man had basically become a "Control the Reapers" version of Saren (Synthesis). I had hope he would help the war effort rather then hinder it.
(?) The Illusive Man is suspicious of you. :P

What did you think of it?
Personally, My hopes are shrinking step by step that it'd be as good as the originals. Mac Walters presence as a Lead writer concerns me. What about you?
Hmm my hopes...Im not even sure I just wish that they maintain great storytelling as well as characters. I was gonna ask what about Mac Walters previous work concerned you but then I looked him up..lead writer of Mass Effect 3 eh. Well hopefully he learns from the Mass Effect fanbase "writer's mistakes".

And Tali, and I hope Garrus and Javik too. I wonder what the last prothean is gonna do after the Reapers, if the Reapers were really defeated/controlled/synthesized.

I don't really need them to join our party, but at least know their opinions on our Shepard: Evil, generous, heroic, badass, ruthless, etc. Well, it would be like what happened to Liara in ME2, but with more dialog and stuff (I'm not saying it's a bad idea to have them on our team, it would be rad!).

They said that Old characters "may" return. But imagine speaking to Liara while you know everything about her and Shepard that "Your hero" couldn't have possibly known. My expectation for this game got even lower after that panel.
Let's not be hating on the game already, I bet it will be cool. It's the Mass Effect universe, for fuck's sake! But still, I understand, Shepard used to be us, now we got a "hero".

The Mako is okay, But it needed more flexibility.
That aside, it's hell if you're on a planet with rocky terrain. Trying to go up a hill for you to just keep flipping over and sliding down... Ugh. Oh yeah, and sometimes you have to deal with thresher maws. Not fun.
Honestly, I'm worried about that. I wouldn't want to see older versions of the characters; it would be too sad for me. And then there's the factor of whether or not they would be determinant.

Well, I hated those nightmares so damn much, To be honest. What's your point of them?
I've never really seen this video. Planned on seeing it before, But always ended up not seeing it. Will check it out now.
It gave a greater glimpse on how the war or the reapers were effecting Shepard's resolve. Why did you hate the nightmares so much?

I'm mildly interested because Black Flag resparked my interest in the series.
But I'm a PC player, after Watch Dogs...well, I'm gonna have to wait and see if it's even remotely playable. Black Flag wasn't too bad in that regard.
The squad part I get, but the kid. To all his own I guess.
Same. As a Paragon, I had no problem with shattering Kai Leng's sword before giving him what he deserved.
Aw man, that Renegade interruption was the best I've ever clicked.
"No gunship this time you son of a bitch!"
They're just over-exaggerating his position. Also, The game just Head-canons your feelings. One of ME3 flaws. That's my point.

A general question
What are your hopes for Mass Effect 4?

A happy ending. That's pretty much it.
I would be excited if I had a next gen console :P
You can be an asari, turian, krogan, etc...
I would love to play as a Turian.
Hopefully ME4 is NOT a prequel.
BioWare is hosting a Mass Effect 4 panel at SDCC. "San Diego Comic Con".
Hopefully we'll get something....
New Info regarding ME4. http://www.incgamers.com/2014/07/new-mass-effect-details-from-comiccon-mako-returns-and-more
The Mako? Oh god.
Why do people hate on the Mako that much? It isnn't THAT bad, I thought it was kind of fun.
"Your Hero"
Man, I miss Shepard...
I didn't like it because it took forever to explore the planets.
I bet we see liara return in the next game.
Oh, I never explored planets, I guess that's why XD
And Tali, and I hope Garrus and Javik too. I wonder what the last prothean is gonna do after the Reapers, if the Reapers were really defeated/controlled/synthesized.
Like the thing said we might see old characters return but I wonder how thats gonna work. Are they just not gonna mention Shepard or what I wonder.

Speaking of party. I would love to have a yahg teammate. I wonder if we will be able to romance a krogan or yahg xD
Why the fuck did I even try to imagine.
They said that Old characters "may" return. But imagine speaking to Liara while you know everything about her and Shepard that "Your hero" couldn't have possibly known. My expectation for this game got even lower after that panel.

Well, I did 90% of the side-missions, And i ran into those problems. I didn't focus on the negative side of it, I took them as a challenge.
Wait, so is it confirmed to be a prequel? For fuck's sake, not a prequel, please Bioware!
