Broaden your horizons, bobbles. It's time to let All The People funk you up!
Ok, enough of my horrifying Bootsy Collins impression. Seriously, if you like classic rock, jazz or rap; you're gonna dig this shit. Stumbled across it the other day when I heard the brass part sampled in I'm Still #1 by KRS-One.
Crazy stuff. R.A. The Rugged Man raps out his dad's experiences during the Vietnam War. Some parts are genuinely chilling, especially the last few lines about what Agent Orange did to his family.
Heard this on the car radio yesterday, I really need to listen to it more often. Then again, it should be a law to play this song often everywhere.

Ghostface writes some REALLY strange songs. This time he gets into heated argument/rap battle with his watch (Raekwon). Unfortunately for him, the watch has to 'tell him what time it is' with a verbal ass-whooping.. I only realized that the title is literal when Ghost says: "A bowl of my milk almost killed you / ya almost drowned in my Pops!" The whole thing is a funny metaphor for the downturn in their careers at the time.
Pusha-T and Kendrick sound absolutely gutter in this track, like they haven't eaten a meal in weeks. The dark, simple beat fits the storytelling perfectly. Kendrick in particular has some great lines.
Trouble on my mind / I still smell crime, my little brother cryin' / Smokers repeatedly buying my Sega Genesis either that / Or my auntie was stealing it / hit the pipe and start feeling it
Wow...I could practically imagine 10-year Kendrick coming home from school to find his Sega Genesis missing and his ant off smoking crack somewhere. It's not boastful or far-fetched at all, just depressing.
I really hope Chance makes it big! His flow and mannerisms remind me of the late Ol' Dirty Bastard and his rapping is actually very solid. It takes a minute to get used to, but Juice is a fun, wacky song. Love it.
Loved the first one. Don't remember hearing it before, but the chorus sent a rush of nostalgia to my head, so maybe I have.
Either way… more, it's going on the Spotify playlist. It'll be a nice break from the Raekwon and Jay-Z, I've been listening to lately.
Another awesome dark lotus song I can't stop listening too(anyone who loves twiztid, blaze, or insane clown posse would love them. Its a band with all of them together)

Well today I interrupted the usual 'listen to the smiths until you just can't take it anymore' with a song that seems to be about a serial killer; (Blind Melon) and then this, I have no idea what the fuck this is but it has grown on me; (Public Image Limited)

Earl makes even the nastiest shit sound eloquent. Mind you, he was 15 when this was recorded.
