Anyone else like Bonnie now?

I'll be honest. After episode 2 I was aboard the "Hate Bonnie" bandwagon... but after episode 3, she's my 3rd favorite character after Clem and Lee. Her protecting nature towards Clementine most likely affected this, but I don't really have any complaints about her now... thoughts?

  • I always liked her really, felt really sorry for her position in 400 days especially as I played a bonnie who didn't flirt with Leland.

  • After I got over the initial shock, I realized that Bonnie was going to redeem herself in episode 3.

The "I told you so!" Was glorious.

  • Hmm, I don't know. She seems nice, but on my Episode 3 playthrough (the only one so far), I was as hostile and rude as the game allowed me to be. We'll see what happens in Episode 4, though.

I go back and forth on whether or not I like her. She's sweet and I like how remorseful she was for attacking the group, but she's meh to me.

  • I wanted to smack her so bad after ep 2, but I changed my mind completely after ep 3, I really like her now.

  • She's the character I can relate most to personality wise. I might cry if she dies.

  • Agreed.

  • I never disliked her :) & after this episode she is really 1 of my favourite characters.

  • I don't like her. She only cares after shit has gone down. It's like letting an acquaintance shoot someone in the face, then telling the dead's brother you are sorry for letting them shoot their sibling. Fuck that.

  • I always liked her and she easily became my favourite female in the group already

Rebecca is still a bit of a bitch

Sarita is trying to act like clems mum which really annoys me

Jane is likely gonna run off on her own

Sarah is still pretty much a kid

Bonnie may be kind of dumb but i like her, her heart is in the right place

  • I always liked her. I didn't hate her after playing Episode 2--I figured, considering this was Carver, he had taken advantage of her trusting nature and manipulated her, which turned out to be true. She was a good person caught in a bad situation and she more than redeemed herself in Episode 3.

I love Bonnie a lot and I really look forward to seeing her in Episode 4.

(Did anyone else think it was really cute how she called Clementine "city mouse"? Because I found that just adorable honestly)

  • I liked her since 400 Days.

  • I would probably cry to. She's got a really interesting backstory, and she protects Clem, so hell yeah, there will be tears...

Wow, so much for being able to have an opinion around here. You just got eviscerated with downvotes :/

    No.

  • Oh, the eviscerated pain! Haha :p

  • Bonnie's heart seems to be in the right place but what lets her down is a sense of naiveté and poor judgement of character. I'd say she was a good person overall and, if preserved, will probably grow into a much bigger character down the line.

  • It depends on how they kill her off. I hope it's emotional, because she deserves a good send off.

Or, better yet, let her survive the season.

    One can hope.

  • i never hated her, and after episode 3 i just like her more, she seems so compassionate and kind, and full of empathy, and that alone is worth more than everything

  • Worth more than a good persons life? I find that highly debatable.

  • I always loved her, she's been one of my favorites since 400 Days.

  • I disliked her after Episode 2 due to her working with Carver, but I was willing to give her a chance to come around in Episode 3. And she did. She's now one of my favorite characters.

  • She abdicated of the nice life she had (food, weapons, safety) to go with Clem's group, I think we have to recognize that.

I never actually disliked her. And after I saw the episode 3 trailer when Clem asked her to not pay attention to where she is, I knew she won't give me a reason to do so.

Strangely enough, I think she is the one I look forward to see in episode 4...possibly the most.

  • I do. It was nice of her. I'd still kill (or at the very least strongly, strongly dislike) the person who let another shoot my friend.

  • Bonnie is okay, i don't dislike her. I don't really have a favorite since Lee/Ben died.

  • I love her :) she is now in my fav character list ! Maybe she did some bad things but c'mon ?! We can forgive her , she cares about clementine more than a lot of character !

  • Admittingly I was a bit frustrated to learn she was spying and worked for Carver, but after I learned of her guilt and strife with her actions in episode 3, I understood her. She was still likeable for me.

  • NO

I'm just joking...I love her man

I liked her in 400 days and im glad she has a major role in twd season 2. She has interesting background and generally is a good person but makes mistakes like we all do.

  • I don't like Bonnie at all. I mean, If you want the survival of the fittest, doing everything that is required in order to survive, that's fine with me, but cut the emotional crap, as begging for pardon a thousand times won't bring the dead back. IMO she is the one to be blamed since the moment she let Bill kill that guy in the resort, even after he cared about her and gave her food.

Bill might be the bad guy, but it's people like Bonnie who I despise the most.

  • I'm probably in the minority on this, but I really don't like Bonnie as a character... she's actually my least favourite character that we're not meant to hate or is antagonistic. I just can't personally relate to her character, and her personality traits aren't ones I typically like in a character either. I never found her 400 Days story very interesting, so I never warmed up to her there, and obviously when she screwed us over in episode 2 I hated her guts. She did make me think a bit better of her in episode 3, but not by much. I still think she has a lot to do before I can forgive her for basically screwing our group over, and indirectly causing Walter's death. I also wasn't a fan of how forced on us she felt in episode 3, so I can't say I'm super excited to see her in episode 4. I know her heart's in the right place and she's kind, but I just can't bring myself to like her as a character, sorry.

  • I always liked her. In A House Divided, you could tell she wasn't on board with Carver's plan and didn't mean for things to get out of hand.

  • I always liked Bonnie. I don't understand why everyone really hated her. Just because she was with Carver's group? I suppose I was a bit skeptical on how she was really going to be after her actions, but I knew Bonnie was going to be an ally when I saw the preview for episode 3.

    I didn't really like her too much for what she did in A House Divided, but In 203 I think warmed up to her and appreciated that she was going to help the group escape. Made be feel bad about not telling her about the radio ;-;

  • I may have squealed a little bit when she said city mouse.

    D'awwwwwww

  • My Clementine is a complete survivalist b**** at this point... And even then, she still thinks Bonnie is alright.

  • You probably won't like episode four much then, brah. From the looks of that screenshot, Bonnie looks pretty important to the story...
