  • I would like a Mundie to be involved in the storyline, but not a whole bunch investigating Fabletown.

That was the original script if you didn't know. A whole Mundies investigating Fables storyline was cut shortly before the release of Ep.1. I hope they can incorporate it into S2 because it would be really cool.

  • maybe a normal Mundie that has found out about fables in like a DLC or something... :p

  • Thread: when do you think the next season or DLC will come out?

I'm thinking about middle of 2015 but what do you think?

  • DLC: Possibly mid 2015

    Season 2: Late 2015

  • Never. Telltale's done with this series. Before the credits they even said that if you want more you should read the comics.

With all the competing theories about what happened, Telltale couldn't possibly please everyone with an explanation. Besides, they would ruin the speculation. I could see a spinoff based on Cinderella or Jack or an earlier Bigby, but I just don't see a direct sequel happening.

It's a prequel that takes place 20 years before the comics. They can work with so much.

  • they could base season 2 on the comics like at the start it pops up with "20 years later" or something :)

  • Do the comics reference the events of the game ever? I'm gonna start reading them at some point. Just curious.

  • I'm going to do the same as well I've only read about them on the internet.

If it makes Telltale more money, they'll make another season. In which they should anyway.

  • They've stated that Game of Thrones is going to be a multiple season project.. right?

  • Episode 5's ending hints, as well as the woodsman's words in episode 4, when he told Bigby that there's something he can do about the girls. That's enough if you ask me to really think there'll probably be another season.

  • i just hope we get definitive answers about all the secrets and loose ends and frankly i don't care how i just want to know the truth and i'm sure a lot of other people do as well. i don't see how anyone would think its a good idea to put people through all that and then not even tell them the truth we spent half a year waiting to find out the truth and id say we deserve to know.

  • Good! The fucker deserves that shit.

  • Bigby never totally mended his evil ways...

  • There's DLC confirmed in which we will be able to spend all the money Bigby stole, during the course of the season, in the Pudding and Pie stage and the Open Arms rooms. There will be unlockables for all characters from season 1, including them in their glamoured and true forms. Rumor has it that if you torn off Grendel's arm you can use it to beat the fables you get in your bed as you have it your way with them.

-DLC: probably when Tales is reaching their last episode so probably early 2015.
    -Season 2: mid-2015

And to everyone saying a sequel isn't possible, there is 20 whole years between the game and the comics. There are so many Fables and different aspects of Fabletown not seen in the game that can be included into a S2

  • Grand Theft Bigby: Crooked City Stories

  • It seems to me that they are setting up a sequil with that ending.

I;m not sure you can draw that conclusion from them wanting to point you towards the comics. It could be a deal with the comic company, or they could just be fans.

Also I pray all of fans to promote this petition in various english game communities and social networks, it will be really helpful.
Sincerely, Fan of The Wolf Among Us.

You're absolutely right that it will come down to money. They started working on TWAU before the success of The Walking Dead. They haven't released sales figures yet, but I doubt that TWAU did as well as The Walking Dead. Assuming Telltale keeps their quality up, TWAU almost certainly will be outsold by Game of Thrones and other IPs that Telltale can now afford. Financially speaking, there are a ton more lucrative titles Telltale could work on.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed TWAU, and I would love a second season (as long as they leave the ending ambiguous). I just don't see it happening.

If it makes Telltale more money, they'll make another season. In which they should anyway.

I looked, but I couldn't find any mention of that. This press release seems to indicate that only one season is planned.

Edit: Actually, it does mention "multi-year multi-title", but I don't know what that means. It could just mean multiple episodes, and 2014-2015.

  • Yeah, you'd think. Of course 343i did that with Halo 4's Spartan Ops. Don't know why they went and called that "season one" without a followup.

Thread: Petition to Telltale Games about TWAU Season 2

So, as many of you know, the season ended with such a cliffhanger. But we don't know yet if there will be Season 2 or just an open finale. Even if there will be a sequel, it might be lost behid TFTB and Game Of Thrones. I bet it won't come out earlier than 2015. But one of the guys from Russian Telltale Community created a petition to Telltale Games to ask them to develop and release the second season of The Wolf Among Us. It would be very cool if you would sign it, because not a lot of people did it yet. We appreciate your help!

Here's the petition. You can sign it right now!

  • I would like a confirmation on who it really was in the end but i'm still thinking that it was Nerissa the whole time it's what makes the most sense and it's the most logical explanation.

  • Ya, because if Georgie killed nerissa then how would Faith be able to disguise herself as nerissa in front of Georgie.

  • ttg just get us another season (at least)
