In one scenario, maybe Kenny survives. In the other, Lee watches Kenny get swarmed by zombies and die. When other people ask him what happened, Lee won't say. The only reason he wouldn't say is because he watched Kenny die and didn't want to say it ... unless you think Lee is such a jerk he would watch Kenny escape and then let everyone think he was dead.
Kenny died, but Telltale brought him back because he's a fan favorite. There's even less reason to believe Bloody Mary is dead. If enough fans like her, they'll bring her back, especially because her powers are vague. Who knows if she can even be killed, or if there's always another reflection.
Thing is though, why did people think Kenny was dead? I never thought he was. Which ever two scenarios happened, you just see him disappear,… more not much sound is heard other than small grunts, zombies and perhaps even a gun.
Marry though, she got fucking bit into pieces with BLOOD flying. I still find it weird that people compare these two scenarios, says they think Kenny died but believe Marry survived? O.o WHAT? What's wrong with people!?
I'd be lying if I said I didn't take a look at your comment before I actually wrote mine:). Still, I had pretty much the same thoughts regarding the fight, especially that she can switch between her reflections at will. We had two moments where the camera changes from Bigby to one of her reflections close by, one when he goes full wolf(the one where she is smiling) and another one when he is ready to blow them away. I think the game was showing us that was indeed her, at least in that moment.
Also, as I stated above, fables and urban legends are very hard to kill. We saw in the comics characters that returned after receiving much worse than Mary did, even someone without any special powers like her managed to survive an axe to the head shortly followed by getting run over by a truck.
And you should probably try your luck with those badges:). Too bad this forum doesn't support signatures anymore...it would've been quite the way of showing you are a believer.
Ha, it's really just nice to see someone agree with me.
I actually think I might replay the entire fight, just to take another look at how the Mary copies behave and whether it's somehow possible to determine the extent of her control over them or, more importantly, the extent to which these copies are real, alive people. Now that's something I'd be interested in. Does Mary feel it when her copies get hurt or destroyed? For all we know, she could actually be all of them, by which I mean that her consciousness might not actually reside in just one. Hmm, questions questions.

Does Mary feel it when her copies get hurt or destroyed?
I would assume she feels something when her copies get destroyed. If it's not pain, at the very least a certain number of copies destroyed should drain some of her power. And if the scene when Bigby is being held down to the ground is any indication, I'd say she also got a fair amount of control over them.

In any case...no way she's dead.
Naww, she'd dead. She's not in the comics, and she was just a character for this story. It's too bad. I reeeally wanted her to ship with Bigby. Also, I found myself asking, "What the hell happened to her when she was a little girl that made her so psychotic?" It's disturbing to see a girl so evil. Boys are all like that, though, even IRL. It's just a matter how how much of it they can suppress from themselves. Inside each one of them is a raging wolf like Bigby.
Ambiguous? How is that ambiguous? They showed her dead (and don't say it was one of her clones)? And while she fights cheaply there is no indication she is a coward who would hide and accept defeat. She smugged when he was in final form because she was than currently winning the battle. Bloody Mary is dead by all indication of the game. Is there a chance she is alive? Yes. But by no indication of the game.
Her ambiguous death is kind of evidence itself. There is also no indication in her character that she would fight honorably. All she's done … moreis take cheap shots on Bigby. She's manipulative and doesn't play by the rules, fleeing at last minute doesn't seem beyond her. Growing concerned? She had the most smug grin when she saw she made Bigby use his final form. The only time I remember her even remotely worried was when Bigby was charging his huff/puff move, which still looked more like confusion than concern.
She also seemed pretty concerned when she was about to charge down at Bigby with the glass shard. I don't think that's enough to say that she's dead for good, though. It's too hard to kill a Fable for us to rule out her survival.

If the game has a second season, she could return there, couldn't she? She doesn't appear in the comics, but that doesn't mean that she's out of the series for good.

Nah, she's dead for good. And good riddance too, she was the only genuinely and completely annoying character of the whole game.
Such female-with-big-mouth-who-acts-tough "personality" whose self-proclaimed badassness is proportionnaly inverse to the actual feel of danger we get from them was already old in the 90s, and there wasn't an ounce of credibility in her character.
The only way to make her look kinda threatening to the player was to force it through extremely short QTEs.
I felt extremely irritated at the moment when the robust Bigby with arms the size of her torso flinched when she threw a punch from her lighting match-skinny arm the same way he would have reacted to Woody's punches.
Hello laws of physics and logic ? Unless I missed something and Bloody Mary had the power of super physical strength ?
The only satisfying part in our interactions with her was when the game finally gives the opportunity to shut her big frigging mouth, kick her skinny ass to a pulp and tear her to shreds.
(Not that she's one of those baddies you love to hate. More like those characters you love to see disappear for good.)
There's a difference between healing and having no visible entry wound after being impaled by a metal pipe exactly after the fact.
If you pay attention to Bigby's character model after the Mary fight, you'll find a small scar on the lower lid of his right eye. He also rubs his right eye in the last elevator scene.
"why wasn't Bigby's torso not shown bloody since, ya know, he got torn up by like 50 Mary's while being held down to the ground getting shre… moredded. "
He heals when he goes full wolf.
"Mary also got Bigby's eye in the last scene"
No she didn't he crushed her right before she could
A character makes clones that are all exactly the same and were suppose to assume just because Bigby didn't kill the last one that that one is the original. Nope sorry, sounds ambiguous as hell. Especially since the last Mary died exactly how all the other ones did, by shattering into pieces of what looks to be glass and bloody mist. Why can't it be one of her clones? Running away doesn't necessarily make you a coward. It just means you know when your done. By all indication in the game? wut. Mary dies the same as all her clones. She is never mentioned AT ALL after the fight. And her history is sketchy. It's the complete opposite, Telltale's intention was to make her character and her death shady.

A line from the book of fables makes me think she's dead
"She enjoys her job immensely, and would defend the Crooked Man to the death... mostly because she finds it fun"
Her "badassness" wasn't only self-proclaimed. Everyone and their mommas cried about how fucked up Mary was/is. Well even if the QTEs were forced for Mary to look strong(which isn't the first time Telltale does this) they are still canon and are still true. Look, as a TWD fan I have had to deal with a lot of fans of people who think characters who are clearly dead are some how alive. There is just no evidence that she survived. When Telltale allowed Kenny to survive, they showed him at least running away. In the sense of the game, it all adds up and ends closure. Think about it. The plot just wouldn't make sense if she survived.

I remember Kenny falling into a dark room with him making no sounds. There is also no evidence that that last clone was her. Not even Bigby says anything like "That's the end of Mary". Mary was the reason Crooked Man had so much power, but at the end of the day she was just an enforcer just like the others. Her being alive effects nothing. She was hardly noticed at all by the community according to her Book of Fables summary, not mentioned at all until episode 3. She seemed like she was just a renegade until Crooked Man found her. Now that he's dead she has nothing to do. Saying she's dead is the easy thing to say for closure, but it's not the truth neither is saying she's alive. Sometimes it's fine to just say it's unknown.

Problem is though that we saw her fucking die, we never did that with Kenny.
And obviously Telltale could go down a route of which you sa… moreid mentioned but i'd think that is stupid. You dont make such an elaborate death scene and just say FUCK YOU, SHE'S ALIVE.
One thing that is thought was LOL about the Bloody Mary fight scene was that when bigby was killing them all in wolf form they just instantly broke up into glass or ice or whatever it was. But when he returned to human form he had blood around his mouth like he just ripped into a fat juicy steak. How does that happen? Lol. It's like his magic shirt.
I agree that it seems pretty unclear that she's dead. At the end when Bigby eventually killed the last BloodyMary it was the same death as her multiples, right?(Glass corpses) And I think that if Bigby killed the real BloodyMary in the end her blood should've splattered? Like when Bigby killed TwiddleDee and Georgie?
On the last screen it didn't show bloody mary with a dead stamp on, in fact it didn't show her at all so she still could be alive, it could be a trick with Kenny being "lost in the horde" everything thought he was dead but he wasn't.
But if she is dead I would understand. Sorry ZombieK I just noiticed your comment.

Hugs and virgin sacrifices.
