What if Season Two ended like this?
I like seeing all your guys reactions to multiple scenarios so imagine this.
Throughout Episode 5 you are faced with tough choices, which will affect the way characters die. In the end Jane ditches you, Mike and Nick both die. Bonnie will get shot in the head (and die slowly just like how Dee did, as well as suffer an eye injury like Dee). Sarah commits suicide, Sarita becomes a walker and bites Rebecca. As she gives birth, she dies from blood loss as her baby becomes walker that literally eats its way out of the womb and has to be put down. In the end it's only Clementine, Luke and Kenny.
During the end of the episode you all make see Wellington from afar, and are happy you made it. That is until Luke goes stir crazy, and threatens both you and Kenny at gun point. He says he'll take Clementine away from Kenny, and this causes Clementine to flashback to the Stranger, the man who lost everything because of Clementine and her guardian (In this case Kenny) and wanted Clementine for himself. In an odd moment, Clementine takes out a gun, which Kenny sees and he runs out as Luke attempts to just give up and shoot Clementine and go to Wellington by himself. Kenny gets shot in the back, Clementine shoots and executes Luke and Kenny gives his last dying words to a crying Clementine.
Kenny words will be the exact same dialogue choices that you chose for Lee during the end of 'No Time Left'. Depending on whether you put Lee down or not, depends on whether Clementine will put down Kenny or leave him. If you let Clementine choose when you were Lee in 'No Time Left' then the choice will be influenced by Kenny who will ask you put you down "Just like he put Ben down" or leave him "Just like he left Christa".
Clementine then makes it to Wellington, crying her eyes out, and her walk to Wellington mirrors her journey on the outskirts of Savannah. However instead of seeing two shadows, Clementine makes it to Wellington's gates and they ask her who she is and one of the guards goes to inform their leader.
The other guard asks Clementine if she has a group, in which Clementine nods but says she "had" a group. The guard asks what they were like, and you have six options.
"Innocent (Sarah)"
"Protective (Carlos)"
"Loving (Rebecca and Alvin)"
If you click (MORE) a new set of dialogue options opens up.
"Family (Kenny and Sarita)"
"Friendly (Walter and Matthew)"
"Brave (Nick, Pete and Bonnie)"
(LESS)
Choosing (LESS) takes you back to the other dialogue tree.
Each one you say, the guard has a different response.
You then see the other guard rush over and say that she's coming out, and so is another woman who's interested in the "little girl". Clementine then looks shocked as the gates open, and the camera pans around to show Christa and Lilly standing there in new attire, and it cuts to black.
The credits would be 'Take Us Back' but a cover by Anadel.
So how would you react to an episode like this?
Comments
Not so sure about Lilly though, it gets kinda repetitive and to a point unrealistic if we just keep running into old faces.
I do want to see some closure for her, because they left her character wide open for a return in Season One, to the point where she was even going to have a scene during 'No Time Left' but it was cut for some reason.
Omfg
I like it
If you didn't make Luke so damn near out of character, I might have been a little more receptive to this.
I wouldn't say he was out of character. He just went through major loss. He lost Nick, his best friend for 25 years! As well as Rebecca and Sarah, people he's been with for months on end and he's supported so much for! As well as lose the rest of the original crew including Pete, Alvin and Carlos over the past few days. He's meant to mirror the Stranger in which someone who's kind-hearted can lose everything and become so cruel.
It does sound nice, but there's one bit I don't agree with. That is, Rebecca's baby "eating its way out". Babies don't have teeth, and unless her baby is some sort of an exception, even as a walker I don't see it causing a lot of trouble. Well, unless it starts tearing Rebecca's insides with its hands, of course, but I doubt even that.
Yeah if what happens to Rebecca happens, I would expect to see a huge change in the behavior of characters. I mean, Luke has known Rebecca for a while, been through her pregnancy since the beginning. Then he sees the baby eat its way out and someone has to kill itLuke doesn't like to kill, if he has to kill they baby for some reason, that could change him a lot.
But that goes against what Nick says about his personality. That it's easy for Luke to "move on". I highly doubt he would just snap like that. Its not in his character.
But Nick saying that implies that Luke will snap. By "moving on", it's clear Luke bottles up his emotions. We rarely see him actually angry or cry or anything despite what's going on around him. Plus with the fact he's losing all his friends and family rapidly over the past few days, he'll eventually snap.
Ooh yeah, you do have a point. Hmm...let's change that.
Rebecca wants you to perform a C-Section (Yes it shows everything, no holding back) on her to save her baby from the bite. You do it as she screams in pain, and attracts walkers. But you see the newborn baby slowly growling weakly not making human sounds, and you and Rebecca realise its a walker. She cries, screaming and pretty much having a mental breakdown in front of you. You can either shoot her, or leave her to the walkers.
Well that was................ uhhh.....
creative?
Most babies don't have teeth prior to a few months after birth. There is the odd exception, but I doubt Telltale will go that route. So the baby can't "eat" its way out. Babies also have incredibly fragile nails. This is why babies often wear mittens on their hands to avoid hurting themselves by scratching. So the baby can't claw it's way out because their fingers would be destroyed. On top of that, that's a bit gruesome even for the worst horror movies. Not happening. I don't see the game getting any more gruesome than what the TV series is.
Lilly and Christa also never met so why would both pop up to greet Clem? Unless one randomly happened to mention Clem, they'd have no reason to know the other knew her. Given that many survivors don't want to talk about the past, I don't see either bringing it up. To do so would reveal Lilly murdered Doug/Carley and that Christa lost Omid and her baby. Clem might have mentioned Lilly to Christa much like Christa mentioned Kenny's supposed fate to Clem, but even then, Lilly could have taken a different name or Christa didn't register the Lilly with her was the same Lilly Clem knew. To top that off, there's only so many times you can bring back old characters without it becoming repetitive and stale. Christa will likely return whether it be as a walker or alive, but Lilly ... you can only stretch reality so far. Bringing back too many might cause the series to have a jumping the shark moment. As much as I liked Kenny's return, his return did seem way off in left field in reality. I can't say I'd be interested in the series going forward if they keep bringing back characters from previous seasons.
I'll take that as a compliment, thank you![:D :D](https://community.telltalegames.com/resources/emoji/lol.png)
Players would assume Christa made it to Wellington, and whilst Christa never directly met Lilly, the guard says that another survivor wants to see this "little girl". I put that in there so that you would assume Christa heard a guard telling Lilly a young girl was outside, and Christa wanted to see if it was Clementine. Which it was. Also I only brought back Lilly because she was originally meant to be shown during the final episode of Season One, but never got a scene, plus Telltale has no closure for her character, so bringing her back would make sense (At least in my opinion). Also yes I understand the baby plot hole so here's another situation I made.
Right in the feels
I think it could end with something like this perhaps, Clem being the only one going into Wellington, but some of this is not so good I mean Luke just turns into a completely different person? Kenny just happens to give the same speech as Lee did?
Eh, I mean I could see Christa being there at the end, because she was trying to get there as well but Lilly?
Having said this, it would be a good way to end it but I think you need to change a few things because if it went on I bet Vernon would come up to the camp in a speedboat.
I like this. Atleast she get to some persons she knows.
Aha, I'm sorry you didn't like it all but I can respect that. But apparently in Episode 4 it'll change our perspective of Luke. Perhaps.
Good, but I don't want those stupid pedo Luke theories to be true :I
Yeah, but it really is kind of out-of-character for Luke. It would make no sense for him to just pull put a gun and threaten to shoot Kenny for no reason other than "I want Clementine."
It really just seems like you don't like Luke, as you didn't include him in the dialogue tree despite him being there for Clementine pretty much all the way, and then you made him go crazy for no reason at all. Sure, he's bottling up his emotions, but that doesn't mean he's going to go crazy. I could see him getting angry and stuff, but not pulling a gun on Clementine and Kenny.
It's also kind of repetitive, with the whole "Kenny is Lee hur dur." It seems like you're trying to mirror the events of No Time Left, but to me that sounds terrible. I'd rather Telltale come up with something original, instead of basically cop/pasting the script from one of their best episodes.
Honestly this sounds okay but with Kenny the one going crazy. I honestly hope the ending is more varied this time around, not just clem being the only survivor again
Sounds nice, but I highly doubt that Luke would do something like this. It just doesn't make any sense! You just made Kenny the mighty guardian and Luke - just an asshole. It's not fair.
Wow, someone really hates Luke.
I like Luke.![:D :D](https://community.telltalegames.com/resources/emoji/lol.png)
I just don't trust him.
I have to say that I dislike the idea of pretty much everyone in the group dying... again, I hope most of them survive this time so that we have hope instead of feeling mostly despair and sadness.
Yeah I can respect that, I'm the same about Ken
