I don't like Jane. She's has a couple cool moments, but I just can't stand her. Maybe because I miss Molly and she was a better badass than Jane.
Then again I hated Nick at first so maybe that'll change.

No, I was actually hoping to see more of Becca and Shel in season 2. They were kind of like a foil to Lee and Clementine in that Becca was b… moreecoming the complete opposite of what Shel was trying to teach her. I would've liked to have seen that develop a bit further.
To me, it seems like Shel is good at keeping her humanity. But Becca thinks it won't help survive, and all that junk. She's changing, she's toughening up and all her hormones are out of whack since she's 14-15. So, yeah. Girl things.

I feel that Becca only thinks that way since she sees so many adults around her putting on a brave face and she feels pressure to do the same.
Like, if you shoot the intruder you can see genuine fear on her face despite her words, and if you give her the gun to shoot stephanie she refuses because she's only pretending to be tough.

I really, really couldn't stand Nick the first time I played through the first couple episodes of Season 2. I let Walter kill him. Since then, I've heard that his rash actions are a result of a very recent loss. I think I may replay the first episode and go with him instead of Pete, and give him a chance to grow on me.

Agreed - I really hope they expand on her character, because as of this moment, it's exactly as you put it... the "token badass".
