Kenny... :(

Man that trailer... It's really sad. That is the saddest I've ever seen Kenny. He doing all this risky shit cuz wants to die. That's a sign of suicide. He took the walkie not to protect clem (partly) but mostly cuz he hoped carver would kill him. I thought Kenny was a fighter I thought he'd turn on the group even but looks like he'll probably off himself.

  • Sadly I think thats what its going to come down to with Kenny he might just take his own life because hes lost everything hes about to lose Sarita and now he only has Clem. Very sad to lose ur entire family in a hell on earth world where there is no one you can trust anymore

  • Yea I never expected that from Kenny but I guess you can take so much

He lost his wife, he lost his kid. Can you blame him? Still, he's awesome character. In my opinion, even better than Clem.

  • Yea I'll always love Kenny he's great. I've never cried at any other episodes but I probably will on this one.

Poor Kenny, he lost everything. Katjaa, Duck, Lee, and now Sarita. ;_; I really don't blame him if he wants to die.

  • I don't think so. I think he thinks about giving up then says "Forget that" and keep fighting. I think he really did want to protect Clem when he took the blame for the walkie. What he was feeling in the trailer was not suicide. I think he had just let all his emotions go when he was getting beat up and realized that if he died right there he would feel ok about it. But then he got the fire back when he woke up and you can tell by the way he says it in the trailer. He is not going down without a fight. He's lasted this long and it would do Kenny a disservice as a character if he committed suicide.

  • It's really not looking good for him, and I'm truly scared. That thread keeping him and his mental strength alive is about to give...

  • Didn't a tweet say that a major character was going to die in this episode?

I still remember Kenny's speech from EP5 where he says :

"What's heartbreaking... is not giving yourself a chance. It's what Katjaa did. She left me...my son...people that cared about us.... I mean, I forgive her, but it doesn't make it any less wrong. You don't just end it 'cause it's hard. You stick it out, and help the folks you care about. So let's figure a way outta here and save that little girl!"

As long as he has Clementine I don't think he would off himself. At least not out of the blue.
If he did it, it would be trying to save someone. Like with Ben, Christa and Clem at Carver's camp.

  • I think a tough decision will be to talk Kenny out of suicide or not, but I think that at least 99.99% of people would try to talk him out of it.

  • It really would be sad to see him go like that.

  • One of the moments I nearly cried in the trailer. Props to telltale for making it so upsetting and sad, but WHHY?! Kenny needs to stay ;_;

  • Yep I just don't wanna see him give up. He seems like the type that would keep fighting but that trailer phew.... I almost cried.

  • Any option that Clementine has to console or encourage Kenny, I'm going to pick it.

  • Yea I hope he doesn't go. He's in my top 5 favorite characters right after lee, Clem and duck.

Another episode where Kenny seems to be the primary focal point... GREAT, CAN'T WAIT!

  • So he wants to die? Damn.

  • Yea Kenny's kind of big deal this season. He's got a big personality.

  • The way Luke talks about Kenny seems like he wants to leave him behind. If that happens, I'm going to punch Luke right in his face.

  • Based on his actions it sure seems that way.

  • Dude...if anything, the trailer looks as if Luke is going to be ascendant over Kenny in this episode. I have a strong feeling that Telltale is going to give the anti-Kenny camp everything they've been praying for since A HOUSE DIVIDED. So, please...just give the rest of us a break, okay?

  • Cant u understand it? All of the main character have every right to end it. Clems, Lees and Kennys life are so fucked up....we cant even imagine how hard it is to be them. Kenny has like clem or Lee, a very shitty life and it will probably end in a very shitty and undeserved way. Thats the point in walking dead. Good people with a fucked up life do there best to survive and save the people wich there love the most. But they end up like Kenny and Clem, losing the whole famaly, or like Lee, dead. It's unfair and they dont deserve it, but the cruel thing is...that this is life

  • Rebecca and Sarita are gonna die.

  • No I understand it and if that's what he does I understand his reasons for doing so.

  • Sure, but I'm no fan of his. And I don't really want another whole 80 or so minutes dedicated primarily to his character "development" (if you're courageous enough to call it that). His whole "ill tempered post apocalypse survivor" shtick is past boring, they need to do something with him cause honestly, he's getting on my nerves a little.

  • I think Kenny will die in EP4. He lost Sarita, and because of that, he just want to die. I think at the part, where Kenny and Mike are walking to the walkers, he'll maybe get bitten or killed. Then after the attack, Luke ask Clem if she's okay, but Clem answers No. Maybe because Kenny died, or is bitten?

  • As much as it pains me to say this...maybe...maybe it's for the best if Kenny dies. He's been through a lot...he lost his kid and wife, and now probably his girlfriend. Maybe it's best to just send him on his way and move on.

  • I can't disagree with that

Thank you. I have nothing against people who like his character, I don't enjoy it however. And my conjecture is just that, a conjecture. They may make him interesting for me in the episode. But when he was marching toward those walkers like a goddamn T-1000, my exact reaction was "fuck outta here with that shit!"

    Good point good point

Haha yea the walker thing was a bit ridiculous but at the end day even though we love these characters like they're real they're not and if someone doesn't like your favorite character it's ok they're just characters.

  • That trailer was so sad. I can't even imagine how heartbreaking the episode itself will be. I'm not sure if he'd off himself, though. That whole anti-suicide speech from S1E5 comes to mind, but who knows. Things have changed.

Either way, I'm sticking with Kenny to the bitter end. I do think Clem would have a better chance of surviving by staying with someone like Luke, but as Luke himself said, family is the most important thing in the world. So that's enough reason for me to stay loyal to Kenny.

Man, I can't wait to play this episode. Should be a good one!

  • Yea I'm so excited for Tuesday!

Oh and you brought up some good points.

  • I don't have a problem with Kenny as well, and i feel bad for him. But, i kinda agree. I'm hoping we get more about other characters. It's just he overshadows all the newer cast.
