I KNEW IT!

edited July 2014 in The Walking Dead

I knew Jane wasn't bad! The trailer didn't show much but it seems that Jane's just looking out for Clementine. We might even get to hear her backstory!

Comments

  • She looks kinda cute. :)

  • She looks awesome in this ep!

But the scene at 1:08 scares me :/

  • I feel like Jane's backstory is that she was the only one who survived from her group.

  • How do you know she isn't bad? Of course a trailer wouldn't spill the beans. For all you know, she could pull a Shane and sacrifice someone from the group.

  • It doesn't matter you don't shoot guys in the dick, everybody knows that.

  • Well she was fighting for the group, (1:08) she genuinely seemed concerned for Clementines safety & I think she was even trying to help Clementine find Sarah. So I feel this is evidence that she's not some psychopath looking out for herself. But you never know.

Man, I know what you mean. I can already see it.

Jane: (looks at Clementine) RUN KID!!! I'll hold them as long as I can!

Clem: Come on! We can make it!

Jane: NO! One of us has to stay, NOW GO!!!

  • You know that the rule can be broken if you are a dick, for example Troy was a dick so therefore the rule is broken and you are allowed to shoot his dick.

  • Jane wasn't the person I thought she was. She does seem to care about the group, sorta. She's looks pretty worried about the baby and helping Clem find Sarah.

  • There are no rules in the Zombie Apocalypse...

  • For real. If a person is nothing more than a dick, and needs to be shot, you can only shoot them in the dick. No matter where you shoot them, you will shoot dick. It's just logic.

  • Welp... That settles it for me. When the time comes to choose between team Kenny or team Luke, I'm going with team Jane. Good luck Mr. WishIWasDead. Good luck Mr. NeverGetsThingsDone. I have a better chance of finding Christa with Mrs.(Ms.?) LevelHeadedSurvivor.

  • Someone who is willing to beat the shit out of a 11yo girl. deserves a shoot in the dick!

  • hehe ^^

    Yep

  • Yea, level headed survivor 'til you become a burden to her and she leaves you behind to save herself.
If Clem ever got a serious injury under her watch I can imagine Jane abandoning her.

  • Sounds familiar...

I guess that's why Jane was drawn to Clementine. She senses that they've been through similar things.

  • Nope. Still don't trust her.

  • She's a good character to have around. She helps Clementine when the group couldn't, so if it weren't for Jane, Sarah wouldn't have been searched for..

You don't see anybody else trying to find Sarah ..

  • That would be the level-headed thing to do, unfortunately. So yes. I'd still take my chances with someone like that. At least then, if I get injured or die, I have only myself to blame.

  • In the trailer, she does seem to care for Clem and might offer to take her under her wing. But, her monologue suggests that she would abandon the group if things went south. Sure, she is shown fighting off a group of zombies alongside Mike, but she might not have had an opportunity to leave them. If she did have a chance when the group was in trouble, I heavily doubt that she would stay to save them

  • You know, I'm happy about her being a seemingly not bad person, but it kind of makes me think of her as Molly version 2. I mean, both are good survivalists but you could definitely see some differences between their personalities in episode 3 but now it seems as though she's getting a "dark and troubled past" and becoming a "jerk with a heart of gold" (thanks, TV tropes :D) just like Molly, and so they're becomig REALLY similar.

  • I'm not going to change my mind about Jane just yet. I know it may seem like Jane's looking out for the group (helping them and everything) but I'm not judging this trailer from its cover, let me play the actual episode first and then my mind may change about Jane.

Right now, I don't think I trust her a whole lot. I trust her enough and I know she's concerned for Clementine's safety and will help out the group but if the time comes where she thinks she has to ditch the group, it seems like she would and she'd only have the people she thinks would be capable enough to come along with her (ex. Clem).

  • This is what I think which is why I'm not changing my mind about her on whether I like Jane or not. Right now, I don't trust her a whole lot to save the group when it looks like they won't make it.
