He was arguing for the group to not out Clem in the shed, infact he even convinced the others to let her out, when the group went to open the shed they were coming down to treat her and let her inside, if you listen through the kitchen door you can hear them decide that if Clems bitten or not, she will die anyways from the bite if they dont treat her so they decide to do so, Luke even said he didn't want to leave Kenny, he said they may have to
Yeah Luke is pretty much just a selfish bastard.. What you said is true. But remember in E3, when he wants to leave Kenny inside Camp Carver when the walkers are coming? Since then I hate Luke.. Before that I never had any problems with him.. Even not in EP1.. SO
If a decision on whether to leave Kenny behind and go with Luke or stay with Kenny, I side with Kenny, maybe we will have the option to persuade others to side with Kenny/Luke? Well, whichever side we choose?
Remember how everyone judged Bonnie before playing episode 3? And how about when we thought Tavia wasn't a mean bitch like she is in episode 3? Trailers and previews can be misleading.
Play episode 4 and hear what Luke has to say before saying "Fuck Luke".
thousandth "i gonna hate Luke for no reason, or i'm just a blind Kenny fan, who think Kenny is a perfect character" thread in this forum.
Luke don't wanna leave Kenny behind. And if you listen out the cabin group (kitchen door), when you look out for some medicine, you can observe Luke don't wanna close Clem into the shed. When this conversation closed, they came for Clem. This thing you have seen hers face, whe he locked up Clem.
And if i remember correctly Kenny don't wanna help Lee to find Clem, if you don't agree with him always. So Kenny is not an angel.
He didn't want to leave Kenny, he even said so, he said they may have to if they decide to leave that night, remember, Luke was the one who came up with the plan to wait just so Kenny could come and have a good chance of making it out, then some other people said they have to leave tonight and Luke responded by saying if they HAVE to go right away, they might HAVE to leave people behind, he still wanted to wait though, he was ready, just a bit weak, so if he was selfish he would have rooted for the plan to leave that night

At this point where we all pretty much expect to have to choose between Luke and Kenny it would be such a dissapointment if it turned out to be something entirely different, like you know, actual pizza and ice cream. We shall see..
I instinctively trusted Luke when I met him due to his charm, but even when I appealed to him during the argument he willingly walked me to the shed and put me inside. After this I was wary and started to notice how he tries to isolate Clementine to himself and leave when things get hairy. All he did in episode 3 was try to help but get caught and Kenny was the one who stepped up and took the blame out of every single person involved.
It's called playing Devil's Advocate. Luke even says as much! He wanted to wait so that everyone could make it out, including Kenny! He even says that he doesn't want to leave Kenny behind but that if everyone wanted to leave that very night, he would have to be left.
I like Kenny more than Luke, don't get me wrong, but some of the reasons people find for hating him are just so outlandish or farfetched.

Either it's "f--k Luke, team Kenny" or "f--k Kenny, team Luke". I LIKE BOTH.
I don't like when either one is bashed although it's going to happen. I accept that. I just have to say I continuously see threads that say (for example) "Luke sucks, he hasn't done anything for the group and I hate him, team Kenny" and they have comments that are repeatedly trying to defend Luke (I've commented to a few of these too in the past). They are always cycling in this forum and it's getting old fast (in fact it already got old). I see it happens the other way around too sometimes but they're not as frequent.
I know we can't agree to a truce between Kenny and Luke fans but can we at least let it rest for a while please? Both characters have strengths and flaws and I have no beef with either one. I can't speak for everyone but maybe just that group of us who like both characters and are sick of so many of these similar threads (can we maybe make a singular thread for this please?).
Kenny is pretty immoral, yeah for sure i feel bad for the guy, and i did refuse to leave him behind but what he did to Carver was way out of hand and fucked up, a bullet would have done it, not to mention in S1E2 when me and Kenny had to jump Danny, Kenny was supposed to have my back but he just watched as Danny was about to shoot, and in S1E3 he wanted to let a girl face a fate far worse than death just so he could get a bit more supplies and when i got stuck and walkers were coming he didn't save me, he just watched. I was never rude to Kenny, i helped save Duck and i defended Kenny in the drugstore, I was nice to him as much as I could be and he still treated me like shit. he even decided to not help me find Clem because he didn't like me, and if you dropped ben in S1E4, momets before Christa drops the walkie, certain dialogue will prompt Kenny to say hes only there because hes got a lot of hate he wants to take out by bruttaly murdering the stranger, he didnt care about Clem, he only does now because she reminds him of Duck and he is extreamly rash and barbaric. Luke on the other hand cares for Clem and he even shows that he cares about Kenny, infact Luke wanted to wait it out at Carvers so Kenny could make it out with them, Luke also went on foot for 3 days without food or sleep just to save the group, he also thinks things through and is kind to everyone, meanwhile Kenny calls him a turd and flake

playing Devils advocate mostly for his own wellbeing, come on people,Luke saying that to the cabin group when Clem is looking for medicine, who cares,he still left her...
1)Didnt believe Clem that it was a dog bite (dropped her)

3)stayed in the shadows when Carver was unloading on everyone at the ski lodge

It's called playing Devil's Advocate. Luke even says as much! He wanted to wait so that everyone could make it out, including Kenny! He even… more says that he doesn't want to leave Kenny behind but that if everyone wanted to leave that very night, he would have to be left.
I like Kenny more than Luke, don't get me wrong, but some of the reasons people find for hating him are just so outlandish or farfetched.
It was a bite. When you're in a situation where bites turn people in walking, mindless corpses who in turn try to bite others, namely you, and in order to turn more people in walking, mindless corpses, why would you want to keep someone who was bitten in your hands? There was absolutely no proof whatsoever that it was a dog bite. So Luke is a horrible person because he doesn't want to die?
They were turning back when the walkers appeared. Notice how Luke immediately begins heading back to the cabin group. The only reason Clem nearly died at all was because of the planks under Luke broke. Or is that his fault as well?
Kenny came back to help the group and look what happened to him. He got captured. One of his best friends got killed. It looks like Luke had the smart idea considering he didn't get himself captured like Kenny did. And let's not forget that Luke tracks Carver for days, with no food or sleep, just so that he can try to get his friends out of Carver's prison. Why do people always ignore this?
He doesn't sulk. If anything it's Kenny who sulks when Clem goes to sit with Luke. Tell me, does the game ever say "Luke will remember that" when Clem chooses to sit with him or not? Didn't think so.
He didn't let Kenny get beaten. Kenny chose to step forward and accept the punishment so Clem would be safe, and Luke had armed goons pointing AK-47s at him and the others. Does Luke need to die to prove that he's not a bad person? What kind of logic is this?
Devil's Advocate: "A person who expresses a contentious opinion in order to provoke debate or test the strength of the opposing arguments." That's the dictionary definition of Devil's Advocate. Luke did not want to leave anyone behind! To say that he did means you obviously weren't paying attention during that scene. He plays Devil's Advocate to demonstrate to the others exactly why they should wait to escape some other night. So that Kenny could heal and come with them. Kenny was unconscious and on his death bed. Those are your words, not mine. Did you really expect Luke to carry an unconscious, dying man (again, your words) on his back through thousands of zombies?
Let me repeat something you said earlier. " 2)risked her life by taking a child across the bridge when there were adults to choose from". Suddenly you're saying that he shouldn't be doubting Clementine's ability to take care of herself? Then why is it such a big deal that he took her to the bridge with him? You bring that up as one of your first arguments against him, but this point directly contradicts that.
This is about the only thing I can say that I disapprove of. Carver needed to die, but perhaps not quite as viciously as what Kenny had in mind.
Is it really so hard to understand exactly why Luke didn't approve of Kenny turning someone's face into hamburger meat? Really? I didn't realize that wanton brutality was one of the "cool" things these days.

That is because Kenny knew Clem, Luke at that point did not know anything about her, and so it was natural of him to be cautious, but Luke was still miles better than most of the cabin group because he managed to reason with the group. If you are saying that if Kenny didn't know Clem he wouldn't have left her in the shed if he thought she could be bitten, after a certain something that happened with a salt-lick in season 1, i think you are most likely mistaken.
Kenny probably lost it (which obviously for reasons that we already are aware of), but I like him more because I trust him more than anyone in the group right now.
Reason is that he's been with us for a long time, he wanted to protect Clementine when the stranger took her (put the "he was just reckless and didn't care" bullshit aside because we all know that). Maybe you dudes forgot that he saved Lee when Larry wanted him behind, maybe you dudes forgot that he clearly cares about Clementine more than ever at the moment ("reminds him of Duck" - such irony that ppl feel what Kenny feels lol).
I like both Kenny and Luke, Luke is funny a lot when he talks to Clementine, but I do not trust him as much as I trust Kenny (clearly that means I like Luke and trust him). We've all witnessed Kenny's good and bad sides, but people are different. He's probably reckless sometimes but he does it for the family and because he lost his wife and kid. Yeah, he lost it, but we know he's kind and extremely careful. Therefore I'd say Kenny for survival.
I expect hate and dislikes to come simply because I prefer Kenny over Luke (even though I love both), because I'm aware of tiny brains.
3)terrible point...Kenny needed help..he was the only one doing something about it
5)it's not logic,im just saying how Kenny will do anything for Clementine,Luke Won't
6)yes i did expect Luke to carry a unconcious dying man on his back but i guess im wrong because im thinking that Kenny would not leave anyone like he did with Ben,Luke is being clever,he's playing devils advocate knowing Kenny can't hear him and coming up with mostly Luke favourable situations

While he still had doubt (obviously since he nor Pete saw any dog around), he actually tells the group he believes her.
Clem shouldn't have been in Crawford or the train station yet she was.
How would Luke getting captured with all his friends accomplishing anything?
He hesitates to help rescue a nine year old girl all because Lee didn't agree with everything he did.
If Luke carried him, they would both die.
Crossing a bridge is different than sending her up to where she could get killed/captured by Carver or his guards. He didn't want her to do every dangerous thing, just like Mike.
Depends on your opinion. I don't agree with how brutally he killed Carver, regardless of what he did.

Okay, can't understand some people in this forum.
º You can't like a character if they didn't have much screen time or talked a lot.
º You can hate a character because of one line. (Even though people claim "How can I like him, I don't know anything about them".)
PS: Yes, I did exaggerate on purpose. And yeah, I'm neutral about Luke.
I like that a whole lot better XD I'll change mine :P
