If We Got An Option To Name Rebecca's Baby...

If it's a boy, probably Lee. Omid is a good choice, but we all know Clem is much more attached to Lee. Duck (or Kenny Jr.) would probably cause Kenny a lot of pain.

Hmm. I've thought long and hard about this and I really have no idea. I don't want to remind Clementine of all the people she has lost. Maybe Telltale will surprise us and give us a whole new name either by Rebecca's last will or a group decision.
If it's a boy, probably Lee. Omid is a good choice, but we all know Clem is much more attached to Lee.
If a girl maybe Christa. Or maybe someone else will name it Clem Jr. lol.

am I the only one who thinks naming it after a dead person like carley or lily is stupid? maybe the one name clem would name it is lee but the rest god no it just seems stupid anyways I hope theres an option to let rebecca name it herself that is if she isn't dead plus she had a names list in episode 1 so yea unless she dies we are not naming the baby

If it was a boy I would call him Alvin Jr. Calling him Lee, Omid and so on would be cool for Clem, but they're not meaningful in any way to the baby. But calling him after his father, a great man to commemorate his sacrifice in fight for freedom of this baby would be great. And I don't care if Alvin is biological father or not, he IS the real father.
Personally, I don't see there being any reason for Clem to name the baby unless Rebecca just doesn't care. She's had time to discuss names with everyone else (more than likely off-screen for most of those conversations) so they would know her wishes if she didn't survive the birth. If Rebecca had her desire for a name, then why would anyone go against it, especially if Rebecca dies? That would potentially be the last thing Rebecca can give her child so why should someone else take that from her? Rebecca also wouldn't know who Lee, Carley, etc are so, personally, I see that as an insult to her. Why name her baby for someone she doesn't know? Nick, Pete, Alvin, Carlos, Reggie, Sarah, Rebecca, Luke. They all make far more sense. Rebecca actually knew those people and they all died recently or are still around.
But in an age where people let the internet name their kids and where people name their kinds things like / and Moonlander ... I suppose reason goes out the window.
If the baby is a girl/boy and the skin is white/black I would name Rebecca's Baby: Carley Jr. / Doug Jr.
Why are people naming this kid after people important to Clem's life that have no impact on Rebecca or her family? That just seems like it'd be a dick move to do that. If anything, I'd name the baby Alvin if it's a boy. He may not be the actual father, but he took care of Rebecca and would probably end up raising the kid if he were still alive. His role in the child's life far exceed Lee's, Omid's, and whoever else you can come up with.
If it's a girl?.... No clue. I'd just defer to Rebecca, which I would do in this situation regardless. Her baby, her choice.
What about Diana? (Clem's mom's name)
And I actually doubt we'll get a choice that will actually become the baby's name.

Omid if it's a boy (which it probably won't be because Alvin said so), or Christa if it's a girl.

I'll name her Christa so that when we meet Christa at Wellington she'll be like "Why'd you name her Christa? I'm Christa! I don't wanna call her Christa, it's just weird." like when she was talking to Omid about baby names xD
