She was a very kind lady, but there wasn't enough time to actually have a connection with her. Unfortunately, I don't believe I'll be too sad about her death, what'll be more painful to see is how Kenny will react to this death once it occurs.. :L
To be frank, I miss Katjaa. I think Sarita seems likable enough, but Clem's barely had a chance to interact with her.
As is, it'd help if we could get a few more opportunities to learn something beyond her relationship with Kenny.
Sarita is a very inspirational character. If she died in 204 I'd be heartbroken. She's the only thing that keeps Kenny from going crazy. Sarita's the moral of compas. Sarita did do something in the game. She's like Kajaa who wants to make good things happen for everyone. I'm sad Kenny didn't listen to her, or walk by her side when she go bit. Just like Carlos said, Kenny's actions is what gets people killed . Poor Sarita I'll miss her as a game character.
I'd excuse the short runtime if there was enough substantial interaction to make up for it, but yeah... I feel that Katjaa had more of an established character arc in regards to the escalating conflict and how Kenny's actions may have been hurting the rest of the group, but Sarita hasn't gotten to show much variation in that regard.
More time to spend with each character would certainly not go amiss.
You cannot blame Sarita's death on Kenny. At least not on his actions, since his very existance as a Season Two character appears to have doomed her to be fridged for his development's sake.

I don't think we're necessarily supposed to be concerned for Sarita... Moreso for Kenny. Katjaa, Duck, and now Sarita is strike three. And as Larry once said: "And THAT is the ballgame."
I'm literally going to bawl my eyes out when Sarita dies and it annoys me so much that Telltale didn't do anything with her character other than be a concerned girlfriend for Kenny. Sarita is queen
Sigh, such unnecessary comparisons. A brief look at this scene on its own is enough to remind one of the differences between the two, in regards to Katja's worth as a character both through the personality she projected and through how much she had meant and was dear to Kenny.
The differences are starkly clear even in less profound elements like voice acting, in prosody and intonation: Katja's pleasantly low and mature alto-range voice (and subtle, un-caricaturish accent), making her sound down to earth, weighed down, sorrowfully reflective, and heavy of heart when you would speak with her, allowing sympathy for her character to be more easily accessible to you; and then there's Sarita's annoyingly chirpy, rising/falling singsong (here, almost fan-girlish and fourth-wall-breaking) 'you knew Kenny before, right? It must be inCREDIBLE to see him again!'; 'but I still LOVE the decorations'; 'you know, now that your friends are hyeeeeeeh, this place is starting to feel like a reeeeeaaaal hooooooome'; 'Carlos, mind if I steal your daughter for a secret MISHin?'
I could swear I was expecting a purple dinosaur to waltz in with a song at some point.
Who the hell is the guy going around and downvoting these comments?
Anyways....i care about Sarita. I do. I don't want Kenny being depressed and against the group like he did in Season 1. He didnt really side with anyone. Anyways. Sarita is a motherly character of the group. She is "kind of" interesting in a way. She tried to keep up the Morale of the group. but she was always concerned about Kenny all the time asking Clem "was he like this before" Kenny and Sarita had a thing together. And i'm really sad that she is going to die in this episode...by the looks of it. And i was the one that thought that Sarita would be the one to help Rebecca give birth to the baby.

This apathetic reaction from this topic is pretty much why I think that Telltale is making a big mistake attempting to kill off Sarita for Kenny's misery. This has already been done before with Katjaa back in Season 1, only Katjaa had some characterisation that enabled players to care for her as a person whereas Sarita was just the nice motherly girlfriend and nothing else.
The repeat of the 'wife/girlfriend dying for husband/boyfriend grief' sub-plot feels forced and serves no purpose other than to give Kenny more angst, which he already has with his family dying in Season 1, losing Walter and Matthew, and his near-death experience with Carver. Why does Sarita need to be killed off for Kenny's development, just as Katjaa was? Why is Kenny's grief more important than Sarita actually living through her experience and growing into a well-rounded character?
At this point we can't sympathise for Sarita herself, her suffering doesn't matter at this point. Kenny's emotional response to her dying and inevitable death matters more, at least according to Telltale.
Yeah we did not talk with her that much , but when we talked , she was so cute and care about Clem.even if she didn't speak with us that much , i would love her again. She is good person , in this fuckin apocalypse. You can't find that kind of people anymore.so , if she dies i probably cry ;-;
I don't give a shit about any of the season 2 characters, there's been no development with them. I cared more about the 400 days characters you play as as you feel attached to them and each one felt like a main character who you play as.

Eh, the TT staff will probably manage to direct her death scene (if it happens, people have been saying they wouldn't care for so long that they might have decided to fool us a bit. It won't be logical, but hey. Kenny.) in such a way that it will be sad, but really with cinematography, editing, music, and talented actors you could make a trip to the corner store heartbreakingly sad.
Without that... it's been thrown into stark relief in the past 2 episodes that many of these characters feel like characters to me. More like plot devices and pawns than actual people. So right now I just think that if Sarita needs to die to move this sluggish plot along, well, then go ahead. It's bad writing, fridging a character like that, and it's a shame to lose yet another character that could have been something, but at the end of the day I'll probably forget she died every minute of the day other than the ones I spend on this forum or playing the episodes. Just like Carlos, who I actually liked, and Alvin, and Pete, who was my favorite of Ep1... etc. I just don't think about them at all, like I did with the Season 1 characters.
The more interesting question is - does anyone actually sense any sort of relationship between Sarita and Kenny? They don't seem to have any chemistry or anything, really. There was the single awkward scene with the box in Ep2, and other than that we just have the script telling us THEYRE A THING, OK. So I don't feel pre-emptively sad for Kenny, either, because they act essentially like friends that have been surviving together for a while. And he's lost a good number of those by now. And no, I'm not asking TT to have them make out or something in an episode, lol. But some gentle hints in the dialogue, acting, etc would have been a big help with actually making their relationship seem more like.. a relationship, and not a plot device that lets them fridge her 1-2 episodes later.
Well, i would less care of the Kenny/ Luke decision, ause it got boring and it's not a twist anymore.
Sarita was a great character. And at least she can shot c:(RIGHT KATJAA?)
We actually agree on something: the 400 Days characters were very interesting for being involved in 30 minute segments, while the Season 2 Characters are uninteresting throughout 3 1 hour 30 minute long episodes.

for kenny's sake yes
Since we never really got to know her, I probably won't be that upset. TellTale might surprise me though.
I wont miss her or feel that bad, but I will have a moment of silence...

But i think she going to dump kenny couse she said i thought i could save him it sounds like she was going to give up on kenny

I liked her a lot and I'm disappointed Telltale used her as character development for Kenny, just like they did with Katjaa. Feels lazy to me.
Funny because Kat was WAY more developed than Sarita.
I don't think we're necessarily supposed to be concerned for Sarita... Moreso for Kenny. Katjaa, Duck, and now Sarita is strike three. And as Larry once said: "And THAT is the ballgame."
I would care, but only really because of Kenny and because she seemed like a kind-hearted person.
EDIT: IGNORE THIS COMMENT
Yes and no. She had a lot of characterization, but it was put to no use. Her role in the story was to be an extension of Kenny.
I'm literally going to bawl my eyes out when Sarita dies and it annoys me so much that Telltale didn't do anything with her character other than be a concerned girlfriend for Kenny. Sarita is queen

"I don't know what the fuck you're saying, but I know it's bullshit"
I'll be sad, but kinda like with everyone who is in season 2, I care about them, but not nearly as much as the S1 cast.
I do like Sarita... but yeah, she is the character I'm least invested/interested in atm so, I wouldn't be that shaken up over her dying.
I didn't cared that kajaa died, both didn't =have much development but it still sad cuz she was a concerned mother, and sarita cuz shes a good person.
I know someone who cares. Very much.

Yes, I would.
Seeing a kind person die saddens me no matter what. Not saying it would affect me for a long time, but of course I would care.
We know that she's indian (from alternate dialogue)

"It's always something with this guy!"
Was it Larry who said that? I don't remember XD
I do like Sarita but I have to admit it wouldnt have the same impact as when Katjaa killed herself.
No, read.

I can't believe people don't care about Sarita, yet Jane seems to be a fan favorite right now.
