  • It depends on how popular are, Fables like Bigby and Snow get movies, books, TV shows, games, and their stories are told when your a little kid in school. Fables like Georgie, Price Lawrence, and Faith are not as known Like are not as strong and able to take a beating like Bigby.

Fables also die from beheading (Colin) and stabbed through the heart (Bluebeard).

Few fables die except through powerful magic. However, they do put modern technology to good use in the struggle against the forces of the A

  • True, but several of those that die later get brought back to life through magic, so I wasn't really sure how to consider those.

Can't remember right off-hand who besides Colin who died without powerful magic and never seems to come back to physical life in one manner or another.

  • No, they are dead but the witching well makes them alive again under the condition they don't leave.

Yes, he's from Jack and Jill as well. If I remember right he's said to be from the following:

    • Jack and the Beanstalk
    • Jack the Giant Killer
    • Little Jack Horner
    • Jack be Nimble
    • Jack Frost
    • Jack o' Lantern
    • Jack and Jill

And possibly others? He mostly goes by the name Jack Horner, but he's gone by other names as well such as Jack Candle. Several characters in Fables are amalgamations of two or more characters. Jack, Bigby, Snow White, Prince Charming, Frau Totenkinder (the witch), etc.

Pretty sure he's also the Jack of "Jack and Jill" fame, and the original Jack of the Lantern. Probably some others. Snow White is actually an amalgamation of two different characters named "Snow White" also.

  • I have to say she's not disgusted by Bigby so much as she was put off by the way he approached her. The fact that he used her sister's murder to trick her into basically going on a date with him was, you have to admit, pretty callous. I owe that to the fact that he's not that experienced with women. He said once that, since his natural state is as a wolf, he wasnt attracted to human females until he met Snow. Something about her scent attracted him. Also, I think that Snow's experiences with Crane are what made her keep up this professional wall between her and Bigby for so long.

  • I hope you do get to read the comics and the spin offs. The spin offs for Cinderella are pretty interesting.

  • Jack is totally like a cockroach, unkillable and pops up where you least expect. The funniest thing about him is his completely over the top ego.

You really have to get farther in the books. He's not weak or jittery. He backs down from confrontations with Bigby because he knows he cou

  • The more popular a person/fable is to the mundy the harder the will be to kill. Yet they are not immortal, but they can die.

Bigby also has the power to die 7 times and come back alive. So until he use up all 7 of his life he wont die. Bigby future also says that he will out live both snow and his children.

Again Bigby is immortal but can die. Also Bigby is nerf big time in the game. He can take a lot more in the comic and is a complete badass. By the time anyone could prob do any damage they would be killed by him :).

  • Play season 1 before reading the comic and read everything after. Cause like people already said it makes more sense. Plus if you just gona wait for the game who no how long you will have to wait. I mean season 2,3,4 or 5 could happen.

is it better to read the comics before the game or after?

  • I guess... I'm collecting the comics at the moment to read one of the comics is coming this Friday!! :D

  • The Donkeyskin I read was very short and none of the characters were particularly bursting with personality. The Prince got love sick and only seeing Donkeyskin again made him better. But he found her ring in the cake she'd baked for him and everyone in the Kingdom was made to try it on. It fit no one so they moved to the servants, of which DS was one, when she tried it and it fit they ended up married. Much like the Cinderella glass slipper.

Donkeyskin contains some elements of Cinderella, but it belongs to a different classification of folk tales. "Cinderella" was the name that

  • I'm reading them K. Read the 6th, which appears to be the story someone mentioned before about Snow and Goldy. I enjoyed the first story-arc, which was 1-5.

  • Prince Lawrence isn't that popular.
However, it took a lot for him to die. How long was he bleeding out?

  • It's even worse, Violet. Bigby STANDS as a demigod. He could be a god if he wasn't so stubborn about his dad.

Beheading is something that pretty much none of them could survive (though, there are exceptions). Bigby is basically a demigod, he is one o

  • I would recommend to stop when Mr. Dark appear. Some stuff after that might spoil the game, as did to me. Knowing what will happen to some elements of the universe ruined my pleasure to play with them in the past.

It doesn't really matter. But you definitively should read those comics

Yeah, Jack can't beat anyone, but at the point in which that fight happened he could probably duel Mr. North or Mr. Dark, and still escape living the defeat.

  • You think so? I dont think so, lol.

  • Yeah, probably not. North warns the "Super Team" that included Bigby and Ozma, among other powerful fables, that they would never survive a confrontation with Mr. Dark. I don't think he was speaking idly. And if Bigby and Ozma together couldn't survive, I doubt Jack could.
