So i saw an old thread like this which showed the meanings of characters names and they were pretty neat, i found some of new/potentially new characters

  • Jane - Gift From God (the group needed her to escape and she came out of nowhere

  • Sarah - Pure (alright so this isnt a new character but i thought it was cool showing that she has a pure, innocent soul)

Comments

  • Mike - most common boys name

  • I didnt post Mike because his name didnt match up really with who he is

    Mike - most common boys name

  • Doesn't that pretty much show that the names that happen to match up are almost certainly coincidences?

  • Pete = Rock.

    As soon as they took away the group's rock, they started to fall apart.

    William = Protector.

    Sort of makes sense because he was overprotective of his settlement.

    Troy = Foot Soldier.

    Makes sense considering he's Carver's goon.

  • Clementine - FRUIT?!

  • Luke means "light". He appears to be kind and merciful man and he has a light soul indeed.

    Nick means "victorious people". This one is tough. But I guess it means Nick's victory over his despair after death of his mother and uncle. However hard his times are, he's a victorious man and he'll get over it.

    Kenny (I'm surprised but it's an Irish name) means "handsome". I don't even know what to say.

    Alvin means "wise friend". He does look like a kind and wise man who tries to act friendly. He helps Clementine when she's in the cabin and acts good to her.

    Rebecca means "servant of God". I think that even if she's not so polite and friendly towards Clementine, she's a strong woman and tries to help the group with all the ways she can.

    Carlos means "manly, strong". Well, he seems enough manly for me.

    Bonnie means "sweet, charming". Bonnie appears to be a sweet girl that cares about Clem and helps the group.

  • Please! More! I want to know more! :D

  • THE PEACHES!!! THE PEACHES!!! "Looks just like you!"

    a flattered Russian appears in thread

    Vera is quite popular name in Russia. We even have such names like Nadezhda ("hope") and Lubov' ("love"). Oh, and a funny fact - The Wolf Among Us wasn't officially translated into Russian but there are some fan rusificators (translations of the game) where Faith's name is translated like Vera.
