im astonished by how many people hate...
Kenny! Why? He was with Lee through thick and thin and to me, he is a true hero! He risked his life to end the suffering of a helpless boy! He has also never ever been mean to Clem and has always treated her with respect since the first minute he saw her! On the other hand, Luke agreed to put Clem in a shed without even trying harder to get her out. I thought he was/is a big part of the group.

Determinant
I think in anticipation to his return in Ep. 2 everyone loved him. Now he is the back the fandom returned to normal. I don't see how anyone could hate Kenny either. How people pick Luke over a battle hardened Kenny is insane
I don't hate Kenny... But he's living on borrowed time... Sooner or later, Clem is going to have to make the better call for herself.
The problem is how he acted towards Lee if you didn't help him kill Larry: pretty much letting you almost die even though he could help you pretty easily. Besides that and his DETERMINANT hesitance towards helping Lee save Clem, he isn't that bad.
I love Kenny, I do, but that's determinant. He left me to die twice in my game just because I didn't agree with killing Larry. He also threw me under the bus when I decided to leave the woman on the street.
Not this argument again. The group is clearly a democracy, and he was outvoted. He will tell both Clem and the group that he is on her side ('I'm on your side, kid' and 'It's probably just a dog bite'). He spends the whole kitchen conversation advocating for letting her out, fixing her arm, and apologizing. When she is let out, he is the only one who wants to get to know her and her past.
Gotta love that gif tho.
It's my favourite.
Luke is more stable and less likely to make others upset, from what we've seen so far.
I'm pretty sure everyone here said what i would have said.
Well, when he leaves you to die twice and refuses to go find Clem because he doesn't like Lee it isn't all that hard to see.
