Steam Versions Problems
Dear Telltale,
I noticed today after steam did an update and I tried to play the wolf amoung us that it says please login so I do then it says you don't own the game please buy it. I went I bought it on steam I goto the steam store it says you already own this game.So then I tried the walking dead season 2 same thing please buy the game. Then i tried season 1 said please buy the game I went wait I bought the game and the 400 days expansion through steam. So something is screwy with the steam version I'm not sure if it's the new steam user update that is causing the problem as it was the only thing that updated. I tried deleting all the games redownloading them through steam and they don't work say the same thing please login then you don't own the game. If I'm having problems and other people might be having the same problems you can imagine how mad some people would be if they can't play the game when the new episode launchs for the walking dead season 2.

Please try uninstalling the games again, and also try deleting your SyncFs folders from your
C:\Users\%Username%\Documents\Telltale Games\ file directory,
Then restart the games, and you should be able to play successfully. You can also try playing in Offline Mode after reinstalling the games and see if you are then able to play.
here is a video of what happens and it's sort of weird. I deleted the registry files no change I will try deleteing the sync file and reinstalling the game a 3 time

When I go offline and load the game then go back online it works. Then I quit and load the game and have the problems again. I made the video to show what the steam client is doing since it updated I had problems with all my telltale games so I think it might be related to the steam client updates.
If you are experiencing any issues updating the game through the Steam Client, please try changing the download region from which your update is coming from. To do this, please click View on the top left of the Steam window, and click Settings from the drop down menu. Once the Settings window is open, click on the Downloads tab, and under the Download Region section, try switching to a different region using the drop down menu. Then close the Settings window, and restart Steam before attempting the update again.
