It was good writing to get heat for Kenny, same with Luke leaving the group in danger for sexual pleasure.
If it makes you feel any hate towards the character, then they're doing something right.

I don't entirely blame him (the guy's had everything taken from him), but I don't know if he's trustworthy at this point. Lily refused to help Lee during the similar saltlick incident, remember? Kenny was even worse in Season 1. As much as I like the guy, you can refuse to kill a child and he'll hate your guts. I don't think Clementine will EVER get it easy with Kenny at this point. He refuses to help Lee for "not having his back" all the time; Clementine will be in an even worse situation for "killing" his wife.

Yeah that is true, but Kenny was right there. Sorry isnt some magical thing, and because she is a little girl it doesnt mean she can get people killed. Im happy clem didnt turn into an Kenny-ben situation tough
At this point he may end up like Sarah. Unwilling to go on. After him yelling at clem, and beating the crap out of that walker long after it was gone, i feel like that baby is the only thing keeping him from completely losing it.

Says about the same thing, but keeps making Clem look at Sarita and being a sarcastic asshole. But, he still says "I'd prefer you did nothing."
That was the moment where I was like " you know what, fuck you Kenny". It was great for their to be a dialogue option where Clementine tells Kenny that she had to shoot Lee and that the wasn't the only person who has lost someone and called him out for being an asshole.
I don't really I think he can keep going, he lost his wife and child and he still moved on even if it did take some time

Yes. When you talk to Kenny in the tent there is a dialog option that says " I had to shoot Lee!". It is followed up from the dialog that says "Carver didn't kill you like it or not".
