Why were people hyping the spoilers so much?
I don't understand why some people (who were spoiled before the episode came out) were acting like the ending of the episode was so shocking. I'm referring to the YouTube video that came out a few days before the episode. I was expecting something far more shocking than Rebecca's death. Rebecca's death was very likely all along. Does anyone else feel that the spoiler video was over-hyped? I liked the episode, but it was hardly a shocking ending. I was expecting Kenny or Luke to die.

I didn't watch the video but Rebecca was always a dead woman walking.
Like Carlos having a massive bullseye on his back so Sarah could lose it, Rebecca was always doomed just so Clem could inevitably have a "look after the baby" plot point.
I agree. A lot of what happened could be seen coming from a mile away. I just don't get why some people were like "ZOMG! DON'T go on the forums! There are crazy spoilers! It will ruin the episode for you! I could beat the tar out of the guy who posted that video!". None of it was that shocking. I expected Rebecca to die. I would have been shocked if she had lived. Sarah was another one who clearly was going to be in peril. I was convinced that Luke was going to die based off those comments on the spoilers. Lol.
Yeah, doesn't suprise me that she died. I remember that one of my first thoughts when I met the Cabin group was "shit, that's a lot of plot devices".
What DOES suprise me is her turning on top of the baby and us having a split second to shoot her while SURROUNDED by gunmen.
I was actually shocked about it to be honest, especially since she was carrying her baby while she turned. Poor Rebecca, didn't expect her to go out like THAT.
I was shocked about the ending, I don't mean Rebecca dying, but Russians guys shooting. It left my mouth wide open and I couldn't say anything while credits rolled.
Yeah. That was a pretty tense scene. I chose to yell for help because I didn't want to start shooting and start a domino effect of everyone killing each other. Turns out that they start shooting anyways. It would have been really messed up if the baby got the chomp from his mother. I suppose that's too gruesome, even for TWD. I did like the ending and I'm really looking forward to see the aftermath of the shootout. Rebecca's death was probably the least shocking part of the ending for me though. In fact, it was the only thing that I probably could have predicted about that episode. That and Sarah losing her mind.
Yeah, I agree with you on that. I didn't think it would happen like that. That was definitely unexpected. It just seemed that some people were shocked by the death itself, but maybe they were talking about how it happened, like you said.
I liked the ending. I thought it was cool how it went black and that we have NO idea what happened to everyone. I'm just not surprised that Rebecca didn't make it. I'm glad Kenny and Luke are still alive though. Who knows though. They could be dead after that shootout. I bet a few people are going to be dead. I'm going to guess that Bonnie got shot and maybe Luke. Kenny has had so much happen to him recently that he might be spared getting shot by the writers. At least, for a little while.
