I don't think that was the cause of her death. She probably would have died anyways. It's a little harsh to put all the blame on Kenny. Rebecca was the one who chose to have unprotected sex during the zombie apocalypse. She bears a little bit of responsibility for her situation.
That's what I was thinking. Luke was an idiot, plain and simple, and my Clem will keep that in mind should she need to choose who is the most reliable person to stick around with. But Jane is a hypocrite - she can't talk shit about Rebecca being pregnant if she herself is going to risk pregnancy. I mean, what was the plan, having Luke pull out? Because THAT always works. She also knew Arvo had been creeping around, what if he'd come back? What if CLEM had? They were both dumb.
It wasn't really the time to do that shit, although I'm even more surprised Jane went along with it.
She was basically talking shit about … moreRebecca being pregnant the whole episode and then she goes and.. y'know.
Unless one of them just conveniently had a condom available I think that's pretty hyprocritical writing....

Guys, Jane made the offer!
WHY is everyone missing this? If someone offered you an escape from reality in the ZA he was gonna take it, every man is the exact same!
Kenny wanted the group to keep moving, yes. But Rebecca was going to die either way, Look at her after she gives birth, she's already pale and you can see the dark around her eyes, the player is even given the option to wait a few days, Guess what? She STILL DIES.
As a Luke fan, I was very disappointed in him when that happened, he screwed up, and he admitted it too. He is human though, so it's understandable, but I was mad he put the group in danger like that. I just expected better of him.
Yeah, Kenny is kind of responsible. I think they should have waited to let Rebecca recover. Mike and/or Bonnie could have gone out to scaven… morege for supplies while the others fortified the Observation deck in the meantime. Rebecca really needed the rest. Kenny shouldn't have pushed her so hard. I don't hate him for it. I just wish that he wasn't focused so narrowly about getting to Wellington with out any regard for the others' well being. It's the boat all over again.
I don't think people are missing this.. That doesn't make it right, he had a job to do and he failed to uphold it. "Every man is the exact same!" pfft yeah sureeeeee you go ahead and think that okay?

Luke should have done his job. If I remember correctly, his excuse was that Jane asked for it and he couldn't say no, but this is not the time to think with your dick.

You respect others opinions which is awesome.
Just because you respect others opinions doesn't mean I can't personally disagree with you.… more
You can think Kenny is perfect and respect those who dont, but I can still disagree with you thinking he's perfect.
Nick's dead, my ribs are broken, Sarah is dead/mentally broken, Rebecca's baby is coming, Zombie apocalypse, prom's tomorrow, BUT GAWD DAMNIT I JUST NEED SOME, JANE
I like Luke and no, this doesn't make him the Devil or something but it also doesn't change the fact that it was a very stupid and selfish thing to do. That "guy has needs" bs is no excuse. Survival is the thing here. He didn't do what he was supposed to do for the group because apparently his needs were more important. The walker attack got Sarah killed in my game and we also lost the water (though I could have saved it if I told Mike to grab them which I didn't, Do'h!) A very bad timing to get friendly with Jane indeed. Sure, everyone makes mistakes but that doesn't mean we should just ignore them. I'm not surprised people are mad with him. I surely was very disappointed. Wrong move from Jane too if she actually did come up with the offer like Luke said. Still, would have expected Luke to have enough sense to get his priorities right. It was he who specifically took the responsibility to watch out for the walkers and it was his choice to go for Jane instead.
That's actually one of the few problems I have with this episode. The way they tried to make some players hate Luke was really, really, really bad and also against what he has shown us in the last episodes.
Do I hate him for this? No, I most certainly do no hate him for this. And anyone who says otherwise....they would've done the same thing as him, especially if what he said that Jane came up with the offer is true.
Y'know, I hate all the shit I'm associated with. 'KENNY'S JESUS!' 'KENNY'S GOD!' 'KENNY'S PERFECT'. 'Stop sucking Kenny's dick'
I'm not the stereotypical Kenny fan, I don't suck his dick, well, I kind of do, well, I don't suck his dick, I just suck up to him whenever he's around, but that's my choice. Nobodies perfect. Kenny ain't a saint. But you know what he is? My favourite character.
As a Luke fan, I was very disappointed in him when that happened, he screwed up, and he admitted it too. He is human though, so it's understandable, but I was mad he put the group in danger like that. I just expected better of him.
They made it so hard to like him this episode, yet made Kenny really sympathetic. This is not how I thought they would be setting up a 'Kenny vs. Luke' thing as it looks way imbalanced.

EDIT Reply to wrong post, but la... To answer your question, generally speaking ribs aren't you use very much. You're welcome to if that's your thing but you don't have to.
The real question with Luke is "Does this seem out of character" - for me: yes, maybe a little, but not so much so that it destroys a character, more a friend 'you thouht you knew.'
That's debatable.. I disliked them both this episode, but obviously I'm going to have a stronger connection with Kenny considering I've known him longer than Luke. In a ZA I'm the type that likes to keep moving on through as much as I can, so there I agreed with Kenny.
I agree with this so much.

If you're talking about weaknesses, everyone has one, but this came out of nowhere. Heck, even the game acknowledged it came out of nowhere! Jane asks for it and they do it and there's been no hint to this at all!

Point taken, but it doesn't make it all his fault either, Jane had a say in the situation, and if she was the super survivor, she should have pointed out to Luke he had a job to do.
He fucked up, yeah, but she brought it up in the first place.

I hate what he did, but i don't hate his character. He's a good guy, but what he did was still wrong, even if it was for his enjoyment. Plus the timing was horrible.
Pretty sure they made us dislike him (lol for what) so we wouldn't feel horrible when he died.
I mean telltale can't afford to pay his voice actor for long

She would've died anyway had they not left. They had no food and they used up all of their water on her. They were also freezing, the best hope was to get to that town and let Rebecca recover for a bit. Unfortunately they didn't make it
Hell, Rebecca agreed to keep moving anyway but she had no energy and she wasn't going to regain her energy without food and heat. Which they didn't have.

They've hinted significantly that it was Carver's baby, and the door is still very wide open for her to have been raped. It's presumptuous to say it's her fault.

He dies either way, but it's kind of Kenny's fault in both circumstances.
cough Sarah cough
cough Sarah cough
I was extremely livid with Luke, I couldn't even talk to that asshole after I saw them baby talking each other and "uh, uh."
"Needs" huh? No, WHAT WE NEED IS TO SURVIVE YOU FREAKIN' JERKOFF!

Yeah, I just watched the "Let her rest" option on NukemDukem's channel. Rebecca dies either way.![:( :(](https://community.telltalegames.com/resources/emoji/frowning.png)
She was pretty much screwed when Carlos died.
Guys, Jane made the offer!
WHY is everyone missing this? If someone offered you an escape from reality in the ZA he was gonna take it, every man is the exact same!
The problem was more the timing really, granted during the ZA there might not ever be good timing. But at THAT moment in particular it was bad.
Kenny wanted the group to keep moving, yes. But Rebecca was going to die either way, Look at her after she gives birth, she's already pale and you can see the dark around her eyes, the player is even given the option to wait a few days, Guess what? She STILL DIES.

Just like Omid...just like Omid.
But they didn't have food anyway. In both case scenario's Rebecca is gonna be tired and hungry. It was no ones fault except circumstance.
rebecca was never going to recover..
the baby basically killed her through starvation...with out food/water/ and rest rebecca used up all she had to spare getting that far...
so really everyone agreed to leave carvers place so they're all to blame equally.
No no no, apparently, "every man is the exact same!" so that makes up for it.
Nobodies perfect.
I'm not one of the Kenny fans who think that he's my God. I only joke about that stuff. I'm not serious.
I can't believe Luke did it, I am more of a kenny fan though #FuckingJane

Yeah, I hate that way of thinking, too.
It's so sexist. Most men, however tempted, would have kept their shit together.

How did Luke even do it. I thought his ribs were broken or something.
Same. sigh
Exactly. The circumstances they were in didn't help. I really can't blame Kenny or Luke for this. RIP Rebecca.
I agree with this so much.

Like no really. How did he physically do it.
If you're talking about weaknesses, everyone has one, but this came out of nowhere. Heck, even the game acknowledged it came out of nowhere! Jane asks for it and they do it and there's been no hint to this at all!
I was too, intially. He is human and this was his fault, he is TOO human.
Point taken, but it doesn't make it all his fault either, Jane had a say in the situation, and if she was the super survivor, she should have pointed out to Luke he had a job to do.
He fucked up, yeah, but she brought it up in the first place.
I disagree, both him and Luke acted like idiots or psychos this episode. If I can have my way I'm leaving with Bonnie and Mike.
I hate what he did, but i don't hate his character. He's a good guy, but what he did was still wrong, even if it was for his enjoyment. Plus the timing was horrible.

I thought Rebecca got raped? Wasn't that the whole situation?

Luke messed up. Big time.
They've hinted significantly that it was Carver's baby, and the door is still very wide open for her to have been raped. It's presumptuous to say it's her fault.
