Spoilers alert! I'm very dissapointed about a few things in Episode 4

edited July 2014 in The Walking Dead

Everybody wanted Eddie, Nate, Christa or somebody els comming back!

Clementine didn't mentioned what happened to Christas baby!

After this Episode a lot of people want TeamMike more than TeamKenny and TeamLuke together.

Almost everybody suspected Rebecca was gonna die after the baby was born! and even you didn't know the spoilers

Nick didn't get dialoges (except if you count Walker sounds)

It was a very good Episode but this could have been different downvote me al you want

Luke was like when he found out Nick was dead ''fuck''... And a few minutes later he was oke I mean WTF

EDIT Oke maybe not the best time to say what happened to the baby but there were moments when Clem could have said it.

Comments

  • I just hate how they build up Luke as this good guy, with this sibling bond to clem, then by the end of episode 4 all that build up leads to nothing, seems like.
I do agree that nick should have had dialogue. RIP Nick. :(

I was seriously pissed about the thing with Christa - I mean, not even a fucking MENTION of her baby? I think TTG has legitimately forgotten about Christa.
And why put Eddie in the thumbnail if he wasn't coming back? Who DOES that? And this episode felt like it was only 45 minutes. Honestly?
    7/10 is my score.
However, Mike had some pretty hilarious lines and Luke getting it on with Jane was pretty funny.

    • I was thinking Eddie would've came back, given how his on the cover of Amid the Ruins chapter.
    • Wouldn't that of made it worse? Telling a pregnant woman a friend had a miscarriage? + Doesn't Jane hint at having an abortion?
    • Emotions are high right now, once people settle down it'll be different. Mikes a good character who doesn't bullshit, so it would make sense some people like him (i do)
    • It was pretty obvious but a lot of people thought she'd having the baby.
    • Too be fair, Nick had been around for a long time given he was a determinant character back in the end of episode 2. How many determinant characters make it that far? It was obvious he'd be killed off quick.
    • I won't downvote you because you're stating your opinion. Everyone's entitled to one.
  • I've told you guys time and time again, whatever we expect and what to see never fucking happens because these new writers are pathetic.

  • episode was kinda disappointing but it was Awesome with a capital A but one thing i'm thankful for is that Cluke is finished and that Luke only loves Jane

  • Wow so even when its a good episode some people are still going to be upset lol

i guess its true what they say "you can never please everyone"

  • It could have been cool if one of them was comming back.

You're right about Christa that was not be the best moment to tell what happened.

We see what happens with the Luke and Kenny fans

Carley/Doug were determinant in EP1 and dies two episodes later and Nick was determinant in EP2 and dies two episodes later... So yeah he'do be killed of quick

You are not downvoting me here a like!

  • This episode had emotions running higher than a firetruck alarm. I was shocked at how everything went. It was obvious Sarah was gonna die either way.... poor girl. This episode was good in my opinion. Now I hope the finale will be 2 hours.

  • i really wanna see how clem saves sarah after the deck breakes

  • Well the baby's still alive. The characters'll be talking about the baby a lot, so I'm guessing they will probably reveal what happened with Christa's baby in episode 5.

  • I'm disappointed the most by Jane leaving second character to leave that I wish would have stuck around. Please quit doing this to me Telltale...it's rather annoying. Though I suppose I should be happy they're still alive and out there somewhere. At least I hope they are. As for the rest of the episode nothing else really phased me. Kinda glad Sarah's gone as she was annoying and dangerous. I just know if she stuck around much longer she'd have gotten someone or multiple someone's killed. Of course the Sarah lovers will probably down vote me after saying that, but I'm okay with that.

  • I was tempted to say a few days ago that people should make the most of the generally happy atmosphere when the episode 4 trailer released, because I knew it wouldn't be long before the complaining started again. Guess I was right to think so?

  • I guess we're the only ones who are smart around here.

  • The episode was great, but I'm pissed off that the character development that occurred in 400 days doesn't even show up in the second season.

especially when you put the guy in the slide

  • A miscarriage is prior to 20 weeks of pregnancy. A stillbirth is after that point. Miscarriage refers to a nonviable embryo that is being rejected by the mother's body for one reason or another (genetic defect, mother was badly injured, etc). A stillbirth typically refers to fetus that's recognizable as a baby that died in the womb. Most pregnancies actually end in miscarriage before a woman even knows she's pregnant.

A pregnant woman with her first pregnancy often doesn't show until after about 16 weeks. If it's her second or later, she shows earlier. That is if she shows at all. Athletic and overweight women may not show along with women who carry the baby far back.

Christa was decidedly beyond the point of miscarriage or Telltale has never seen a pregnant woman before that wasn't 8-9 months pregnant. Since Rebecca had pretty much the same model, would seem that might be the case. Granted, Hollywood seems to pull the same stunt.

Can't play the episode until later on tonight, but you'd think it'd be in poor taste to mention the death of another woman's baby who the group you're with doesn't even know. Only Kenny might give half a damn, and even he might not care anymore, though.

All in all, though, I think this is a lesson for everyone to never assume anything because chances are that's not going to be what will happen.

I don't really know what to think of this episode. There was some great bonding with Jane but aside from the baby I don't feel like much progress was made. The finale has so many things to tie up while still preparing for an explosive finish. I hope they can do it.

  • No he was talking to me, I dont think he likes me that much, but I think hes cute. Lol
