Is Arvo good or evil?
Evil or a victim of his physically superior group?
Perhaps something in between?

Evil
evil :P
Harry Potter.
EEEVILLL!!!!!!!
He was another Ben a bit. He did a setup for the group for the meds. but he didn't know that they had a baby in the group so he told his group that they shouldn't shoot by the looks of it. But they refused to walk away empty handed
I think he's bad. But I don't think he's pure evil either.
He did seem considerate when he saw the baby. I don't think he's like carver where he'd do ANYTHING, even kill, just to get what he wants.
I think he's kind of like Lawful Neutral.
Erm, no, I don't think he is evil. And I don't think he is in a position to give orders either. He'll probably redeem himself in episode 5, if he makes it...
He's just some crippled guy. His Russian gangster friends are the ones worrying me (but maybe they aren't that bad since they haven't ditched him yet).
When he appeared and it turned out he was foreign, I remember the scene back in 400 Days where Shell's group captured the foreign guy. I remember how I made the decision to let him go and how it killed Boyd. It greatly affected how I treated Arvo and I showed him no mercy. I took his medicine and honestly wanted Jane to kill him so he didn't warn his group.
I think that he's going to end up being good in the end of episode 5. Not sure though.
I don't think he was bad but then again his group was bad. for the gun fight. I would of let him join my group since the seems liked a good friend for Clem
I think he's good. If you say that your group has a baby he tries to convince the group to put down their weapons, with only one of them being to hesitant (the exchange happened in Russian so most people missed this). His hands shook when he pointed his gun at Clem, so he can't bring himself to shoot an innocent. And there's something suspicious with those meds, why put them in a trash can, for that group to collect it? Or perhaps to buy their trust? Or something entirely different?
Neither. Cornering and taunting us was pretty immoral, but he isn't pure fucking evil.
He's a dumb piece of shit, that's what he is, it's not really good or evil, just stupid.
I knew not killing him on spot would turn out badly, but well, they didn't want to give a little girl a chance to kill someone except for Sarita.
Arvu isn't evil, his friends are.
They sent him out on a supply run with a broken leg, a guy with a disability,
unable to aim a gun at another human being without starting to tremble.
But I'm pretty sure Arvu lied about his sister, she seemed fine.
He probably had to get the meds for his group to show that he isn't a burden to them,
with his leg and all...
He says he has a sister who's sick. He might just be lying and that's his excuse to get out of danger if he's ever confronted by anyone or maybe he's only sticking with the group because they have lots of medical supplies and can look after his sister.
Why are people saying he's evil? Look at it from his perspective.
He had Clementine at gunpoint and was shaking at the prospect of pulling the trigger on her, then afterwards got robbed of a weapon and, determinately, med supplies. On one dialogue choice during the end of the game I think he even says "sorry" for the way things are.
At the very least he seems to have more compassion than the other Russians.
He's not.
His surrounding are.
(He was shaking when he was aiming at Clem, he changed his mind when he saw the baby, he was scared of Jane...)
i think he's a reincarnation of nick
I really liked Nick, but from your perspective did you hate him? Or did you also like him?
He's not a bad guy, his russian friends are. He tried to get them to put their guns down so nobody would get killed, he told his friends not to shoot. But i don't like the ending. If one of my favorite characters dies/getting injured, i WILL hate him and want him DEAD. (Clem, Kenny, Mike, Bonnie).
Russians are serious about their territories and supplies, so if you mess with them they'll always shoot first then get answers. Arvo and his group are just normal Russians.
I wouldn't say he is EVIL evil.. he's more NUTS evil. from the whole medicine thingy i'm just assuming he has some drug issues (i still don't buy that sick sister story) what probably causes his fishy behavior.
I feel like it will be similar situation to Bonnie. Mostly everyone hated her for betraying the ski lodge group in episode 2, but she redeemed herself later on. I hope we get that from Arvo because he doesn't seem to be that bad of a guy.
well i've seen him smile really evil quite some times while adressing clem ha seemed to really enjoy that situation (at least that's the vibe i got there). whilest bonnie looked pretty messed up when they confronted the ppl at the ski lodge, you could clearly see her regrets from the very beginning. idk to me it seemed like the only thing arvo really cared about was the baby.
Did my game bug out or does he actually accuse you of robbing him regardless of your decision?
i dont think he is but his russian friends look like assholes.
good evil i don't really care to be honest i'm gonna kill him first chance i get his group most likely killed at least 2 of clem's group
No, someone stole the meds between the first meeting and the end, my bet's on Jane, though it could an unknown assailant or Arvo trying to cover his failure.
Someone's dying in the beginning of episode 5 and you chose 4/6 of the characters who are alive (with only Luke and Rebecca's unnamed child not being mentioned). You have a big chance of one of them dying, but I'd be more pissed at the shooter.
He does. The writers are stupid enough to let that be acceptable.
Just because a girl was standing next to him doesn't mean its his sister. Even so he could have more then one sister.
Arvo is gray. Like everyone else. They aren't villains. They're survivors and heroes in their own eyes, victims of circumstances. Even the Stranger in Season 1 had heroic qualities, even if they were flawed. He was like Lee, in that he felt guilty for a crime that ended up detaching him from his family, so he thought that he could redeem himself by taking care of Clementine. The very same thing Lee was doing throughout Season 1.
Is Arvo evil? No. He's just trying to survive, like everyone else. He was victim of immediate disaster from a foreign group, much like how Clem was in the opening of Ep. 1, and how Christa was after the prologue. This is a world where everything could go to hell in the blink of an eye, and it's not something that can get built up to, or something that can find proper resolution. It just "happens". The walkers just "happened" too, y'know.
Evil? No. Some idiot way in over his head? Yes. I don't buy his "sick sister" story (looked like a typical drop-off for a drug run to me), and while it's nice that he had second thoughts upon realizing we had a baby, it doesn't change the fact that he still set us up. I'm not saying I'll kill him if I get the chance... but I might.
For now I say he's a little bitch-- I meant um kind person....
Edit: ok on a serious note maybe he isn't so bad, but he did have a part in causing the shootout. A big one.
I think it's a drug trade...like in Season 1 with the Bandits and Ben.
Actually, what if he was stealing from his own group? Putting the stuff in the trash to hide it and keep it to himself?...
I don't think we've seen nearly enough to make a call on his position. Sure, he is pretty obviously using his handicap to get sympathy, but I don't know that I would blame him. How long would he last without help, even if it is from a group of bandits that just use him as a decoy?
