In loving memory

After playing Amid the Ruins, it is obvious that the group is in a critical state both physically and emotionally. You could see they are breaking down fast.
Anyways, this got me thinking alot about Pete. I can't help but feel that if Pete never got bit down by the river, he would have made a better leader than either Luke, or Kenny. Sure, there would have been problems, but I feel that given his experiences and character, things would have been slightly better for the group. He would have known what to do. I wish he didn't have to die so soon.

  • I miss Pete too he was the best! :(

  • Ikr. May Pete rest in peace with his goofy niece.

  • Yeah his beautiful Niece Nick!

  • I know. If only he had a chance.

  • I agree with this. His character was introduced as a very promising one. He should have at least made it one more episode.

  • I think Kenny and Pete would have butt heads even harder than Luke and Kenny. Granted I agree Pete would have been a much better leader and Kenny might have respected him more but in the end I think Kenny is part of the problem.

  • Definitely! He had so much potential.

  • I miss Pete. He would've been a great leader.

    And I feel horrible that I could never fulfill my promise to Pete about protecting Nick. I tried Pete, I swear ;^;

Blame TellTale for cursing Nick with the status of "Determinant" character!

At least someone would have reacted to Nick's death besides Rebecca and Luke's 1 word repeated 3 times.

  • You fulfilled your promise to Pete. He knows that it wasn't us, the players, but Telltale that killed Nick.

  • I'm one of Pete's biggest fans, so it should come as no surprise that I agree with you. Pete always struck me as the leader of the cabin group, at least in practice even if it wasn't official among the characters. He was wise and kind and always tried to do the right thing while caring for his group. The guy would have made a great leader, even with all the shit the group has gone through since his death.

RIP Pete. At least you and Nick are together again.

  • To be honest I don't feel like Luke or Kenny should really be the leader... but that's just my opinion, it's just that they strongly agree with THEIR way and tend to always disagree with Clementine if she doesn't choose their side.

  • He always has been unfortunately. If that baby turns out to be a zombie baby, he will lose it completely.

  • Exactly right my friend. Pete seemed like he knew how to compromise and maintain order and a cool head. With both Kenny and Luke, it's either their way or the highway.

  • R.I.P Pete and Nick.

  • I actually think Pete would have known how to handle Kenny. In many ways, Kenny and Nick have the same attitude, so Pete would have probably known what to do because he has delt with Nick alot before.
