Characters Killed Too Quickly

Does anyone else feel like Sarah and Nick died too early and without enough development? Not to much how no one seems to care about them dying in the game, too.

  • I teared up when Sarah was pleading to the Walkers not to kill her...

  • The only characters I felt died too quickly this season is Omid and Carver.

  • I feel like it was Nick's time to die this episode, being determinate and all, but what a shitty sendoff.

Nick had great development in episode 2, one of the best character of the series (IMO), but then he only spoke 20 lines in episode 3, then he didn't speak at all in 4 and just died for no good reason! What a terrible send off. I'll borrow a line from Grendel and modify it a bit. "That death back there? That was a s---ty f-----ing send off for a great guy."

  • I second that. Rebecca had a nice run though..

  • "What a shitty send-off to a pretty okay-" um... guy. (-Gren (not the last part though))

  • Sarah didn't die too early, she just died the wrong death. If she had refused to leave the trailer and died in the herd, completely inconsolable and alone after her father's abrupt death, that would have worked. A sad lonely death would have been far more fitting to her character than getting hit by a bunch of wood.

Nick was the real problem with the episode. Nick was a good character. He tried hard to live up to Pete's expectations. After consoling him and drinking with him, he was the character I cared about most after Clem and Kenny. His unceremonious death is by far the low point of the entire season.

It would be pretty awkward to call him a lady xD

Too bad he didn't even have one line. Not even when he got SHOT!

  • Not every character lives long enough to see the same redemption that Lee had found. There's a tragedy in them not succeeded to their full potential, and that makes me a sad panda.

It's a cruel world, the universe of TWD, but most of all, it isn't fair. We should be grateful to have had Nick as long as we had, lest we become him.

  • WRONG. My preference is preferable.

Nick and Sarah suck. So did Rebecca. S1 characters>S2 characters.

Killing these characters off unceremoniously is a choice I like. Season 2 is on par with Season 1 just for different reasons.

  • yea XD

And yeah I thought that really sucked too but I guess if TT was going to kill him off quick, they didn't need his VA. I wish he had more potential though if you didn't kill him (like Ben in Season 1)

  • This is The Walking Dead's universe. So long as you understand that, there is only one rule about death: It happens. A lot.

    Deal with it.

  • this is something 90% of the complainers can't comprehend.

  • the only character that im pissed got killed, well kinda, too quickly was omid:(. now that was shitty. also put christa there cuz I don't think we will see her again. now nick provided that you went with him he had a very good development and also in episode two, where he becomes determined. could've they done a better send off yes. what could've they done killed him in ep 3, being what he was a fuck up. or hothead losing it on someone on the camp and get killed or saving someone. now sarah its kinda a tough one. she had development but I think that TT fucked themapable selves there. they basically wrote a useless character, my god she was so incapable to pull together, to react, she was a lost cause TT kinda screw up there. carver more time on the episode would've done more for him. and jane, kinda sucks cuz it was basically another molly. but my theory (small maybe 10% that could happen) maybe jane hears the shot and comes back. idk
