Why does Telltle always have trouble making a great 4th episode lol

Telltale just cant seem to pull off making an amazing 4th episode

(((walking dead season 1 Episode 4 – Around Every Corner)))

(((wolf among us season 1 Episode 4 – In Sheep's Clothing)))

(((walking dead season 2 Episode 4 - "Amid The Ruins)))

these were all some of the lowest rated episodes of the seasons

so why do you think they have trouble with the cursed lol "4th episode"

    ...Around Every Corner was one of my favourite episodes of season 1, honestly.

    If I were to guess, I'd say that the to good material they initially intend to use if episode 4 gets bumped to make the finale spectacular. Going out on a high note is seen as preferable to going out on a couple of good but not great notes.

    Episode 4 from Walking Dead Season 1 actually wasn't that bad, yeah it was the weakest episode, but it was still awesome, I'd take it over any episode from Season 2.

    They don't have any problems I thought twd s1 episode 4 was good. TWAU episode 4 was awesome and amid the ruins was amazing and my favorite episode.

    i have to disagree, episode 4 was easily my fav, and i felt episode 1 was the weakest of season 1

    104 was great, TWAU 4 was great as well.

    204 was the best of the season, right next to 202.

    The 4th episode is the penultimate episode, which means it creates a problem and or increases tension for the final episode of the Season, I liked all the episode 4s but I have to say TWDS2's episode 4 - Amid The Ruins, was sad and didn't have much hope - I mean what happens in the episode, the episode itself was probably one of the top 5 best episodes from TWDS1, TWAUS1 & TWDS2.

    Choices aren't implemented well, Nick and Sarah's unsatisfying deaths, and other stuff people don't care for.
