I gotta admit, IGN gave only 6/10, but that's one bad review.
I completely agree with you on that. Still, it took me 2 hours to finish, while most of the season one episodes took me three hours to finish. I think that the reason for that is that season one had more actual gameplay, season two focuses on the narrative much much more. Which is not a bad decision.

You're my hero. It took me about 30 minutes alone in episode 3 to figure out how to get the map in the train, and 30 minutes as well to start the train.
On steam, it says that I played the first season for 14.5 hours (which is one walkthrough).

Why would you think they would publish negative reviews? The point is to draw customers in, highlighting the fact that a person dislikes your product, will not help that. Also most reviews for Amid The Ruins are good.
He actually isn't going to get in any trouble since telltale feels ignoring it is the best course of action, I'd just say once you play the episode go to his video and give him a piece of your mind like i did :P

The episode was Enjoyable but hot damn did they throw out So many great potential characters so easily.
-A moving scene of Nick's death and an ACTUAL reaction from his best friend.
-Sarah about EVERYTHING. I wanted to give her another pinky promise/ teach her to atleast stand up/ see her with a gun atleast once to fight off the walkers when she fell even if she was to be killed.
-Bad writing for Luke in general.

Actually I've read a lot of great Amid the Ruins reviews. I love season two and I thought episode 4 was great, just too short.

They complained about not enough story progression in episode 1, lol. Don't take them seriously.
