  • They usually give the group-characters a more emotional death, but I have to admit I found his death disappointing for reasons including;

    • It was off-screen (I'm aware he was shot, but I was hoping for a final dialogue with Nick)
    • The dialogue options weren't as eventful as I'd have liked
    • His actions leading to his death weren't heroic (also why would Luke send the injured Nick for help?)
    • Nick was a very limited character in Episodes 3 and 4.
  • Actually Nick was being heroic, or an attempt to be. Luke mentioned Nick made a run for it to try and get help for Sarah, who wouldn't leave that room and neither one could carry her because Luke's ribs were bad and Nick had been shot. Nick must've been trying to find the others when walkers got him.

    So even though it was off screen, Nick died trying to do the right thing T_T

  • I know that he was trying to search for the group, but the fact you don't get to experience it first-hand is why I (like so many others) feel let down by the entire situation.

    Nick was a good character, who a lot of people felt drawn to after we realised his temper was probably the only negative aspect of his personality. Sure, he was reckless (shooting Matthew on the bridge), but it was only to protect the group from what he perceived as danger. I just feel his death should have been more than an off-screen dialogue.
