The baby looks like...
Did you say the baby looks like Carver or Alvin? I said Alvin to make Rebecca feel better.

I thought the option was "He doesn't look like Carver" or "He looks like Alvin".![:/ :/](https://community.telltalegames.com/resources/emoji/confused.png)
I said he looks like Alvin, but I think that's Carver's baby.
if the baby's skin gets darker then its Alvin's if not its Carver'a but that might not work either. its too early to tell honestly we have to wait until it starts developing more features.
I didn't say either. What does it matter? Why would I remind her of all the bad stuff in the past and of the husband who's not there for her any more, instead of just letting her protect her baby?
oh god, i laughed way to hard at that
I said Alvin too. Although I don't think Rebecca would care much who the father is anyway. Sure she'd prefer if it was Alvins but I don't think she'd love it any less if it was carvers.
The baby is Carver's. Dorian Lockett (Alvin's voice actor) confirmed it.
I think saying it looks like Carver would be a bit mean.
Said it looks like Alvin, but it was pretty heavily hinted that it's Carver's in A House Divided, what with Alvin and Rebecca being unsuccessful numerous times and then suddenly she started showing around the time she was with Carver.
I honestly had no idea personally but the only dialogue options you have is to tell her it's Alvin's. I guess the voice actor confirmed it though, I doubt she'll care... now.
it looks like alvin......

Reggie's VA said he would survive Ep.3.
Looks like Alvin to me.
When say it
Honestly, if it's not in the game or the comic/books, it's not canon. Doesn't matter what a VA might say. Doesn't even really matter what Kirkman says unless he puts it into the comic afterward. If it's not stated anywhere within the comic or game, it's either unknown or not true. Doesn't even matter if Telltale says it. If they didn't put it in the game, then it's not part of the canon. The VA might have seen a dialogue line that was cut from the game, but apparently if it was cut, it was deemed not relevant to the story and is no longer part of the canon.
As I've said multiple times before, though, you can't judge the paternity of the baby by skin tone (or hair/eye color). Rebecca and Alvin are both African Americans. If you know anything of history, female slaves were often raped by white men resulting in mixed children. Rebecca and Alvin are very likely of mixed descent. Doesn't matter if it was 200 or 400 years ago. Only way for them to be pure African would be if their parents came over from Africa. Their names don't suggest that, though. Recessive genes are a funny thing. They can pop up at the strangest times. Black couples have had white kids. We also don't know what Rebecca's or Alvin's parents looked like. The kid could look like one of them. Only way to know for sure is DNA testing and like that's happening.
Does it really matter who the baby's father is now anyway? The kid's an orphan and will likely end up dead before long.
Same except I know it's Carvers.
was that a glitch?
Can i get proof?
When did they say they were unsuccessful?

Too be honest it looks 100% like carver.
When Clementine talks to Rebecca at the ski lodge or whatever. Rebecca mentions that she and Alvin had tried before and were unsuccessful, and then I think she trails off when she starts referring to Carver, but the meaning is clear. I think Clementine has to ask her how she knows the baby is Carver's. I don't remember the exact wording, but I do remember people on here tossing about the possibility of Alvin being infertile as a response to the scene and dialogue in question.
it looks like ME
PLOT TWIST!

Maybe she was in Luke's situation...?
The Omid one had me dying... But then I remembered that it was dying too...
I'll have nightmares for a week.
It better be Carver's. He was one of my favorite characters and I want part of him to live on.
I think I chose the other option, except I can't remember what it was. I thought about saying it looked like Alvin just to comfort her though, but seriously, the baby is definitely Carver's.
FACE SMASH
Face Smash Rebecca's Child?
Larry's diaper needs changing, it's packed to the waistband with charm.
Okay, you win. xD
Wow such insult. Anyway, it's probably neither. Maybe something like an affair dominated by Carver than anything.
Christ - Kenny's never gonna let go of him.
I'm guessing for the sake of drama it is Carver's but I didn't see where it would hurt to say it looked like Alvin. Besides, Alvin and Rebecca planned to raise it as their own, even if it was Carver's, so why not play along. Also, since all three are dead, it's not like it'll make one bit of difference for the baby.
What a conflict! He won't know whether to salt lick it, grieve over it, or relentlessly mention it every chance he gets.
