I would go with poor diet, dehydration, just had a baby, force march through Leningrad, and lack of proper rest did the trick.

  • i assumed she died sitting down during the conversation with the russians.

  • Well she did give childbirth without the proper equipment. Not to mention that it was the middle of Winter and to top it off, she likely could've lost an awful lot of blood from it.

  • I was actually confused what happened. I she looked really pale while the group was walking, probably caught hypothermia? Then when I saw the option to shoot Rebecca, I was like WHAT!?!

  • Its rather easy... She just died, giving birth without any drugs on dirty floor in cold environment isn't exactly the best idea... and going on a long walk in winter without warm clothes just a few hours later is even more of "bad idea"... She was exhausted, bleeding, cold and in a lot of pain... so yeh, of course she died...

  • Combination of having just given birth, hypothermia, and lack of proper nutrition.

  • If you decide to wait a few days or kill that raccoon does it change Rebecca's outcome?

  • Can you kill the raccoon? Wow, that's brutal.

  • Everyone who dies turns into a walker, you don't need to be bitten.

The virus is airbound, but it only works when the immune system is severly weakened, for example by a bite (the saliva carries tons of bacteria, causing infections, especially coming from a rotting corpse) or when the victim is dead and has no more working immune system at all.

  • Because you know... Urban?

No. Everybody is infected, virus "activates" itself when victim dies.

    for example by a bite

That's right, walker bite causes an infection which causes deadly fever.

And why Rebecca died? well, she was starving, tired, just had a baby, and frozen. Her heart just gave up.

  • Where the fuck was Carlos when you need him.

  • I believe it was hypothermia. You could see she had turned blue - a sign of being way too cold.

  • i think it's impossible to kill the raccoon

  • When she had that baby she lost blood.

She died also due to not having proper health and being forced to walk.

  • You know where he is.

  • Rebecca died. If you die, you turn. I assume you understand why she died, but for clarification....the group was low on food and water, and medical supplies, AND Rebecca had just had a baby, so she was in HORRIBLE shape. Then she had to walk through a freezing snowy area all day. She couldn't take it and died.

  • She just couldn't take those silly stereotype russian accents.

  • He swims in the fucking river now.

    You know where he is.

  • Harry Potter has a great accent!

    She just couldn't take Vladimir.

  • Most likely to do with with pure nutrition, hunger, and the cold then having a natural childbirth[which is natural since the dawn of our species and in many cultures today without meds]

  • I was confused too but assumed she died of hypothermia and lack of energy from childbirth.

This is what her wiki page said about her cause of death: Succumbed to hypothermia from childbirth exhaustion and loss of blood, Shot by Clementine/Kenny after reanimation.

  • Waiting doesn't help. Even though Rebecca could get some rest, it's still freezing and they have no food, so it's not like she would recover very well.

  • im sure that her immune system has fucked due to poor nutrition, and then the cold got her worse due to being weak for giving birth and the poor nutrition

  • Back before there was any proper medicinal care, woman used to die during childbirth or soon after all the time. It was the norm a long time ago. Rebecca was in the same situation. No medical care throughout her pregnancy and no care during or after childbirth. Being in the freezing cold with limited food, water, and rest, only added to the chances that she wouldn't make it. Her body went through a trauma and couldn't hold out in the conditions it was under, unfortunately. It's a shame though. I felt as though we were really developing a bond with Rebecca. Her death is realistic, but it still really sucks.

My thoughts were maybe pneumonia as she had that cough for a few days, that causes cyanosis; her face looked blue. Bad nutrition and exhaustion and constant stress don't help. Good episode. lol why is everything thumbed down feels like youtube comments.

  • You can't xD

Can you kill the raccoon? Wow, that's brutal.
