Don't get me wrong, I don't look forward to interacting with him but I like his character; if that makes any sense? But yeah his obsession is part of his mental breakdown as it's like at this point he needs SOMETHING as a crutch to keep functioning properly which of course is not fun to interact with but interesting to see envelope the party or something.
While hes well written and realistic, I find interaction with him a real chore, whatever you choose to do with Sarita hes angry at you, pret… morety much everything he does seems creepy, either his obsession with the baby or the way he was beating those walkers, Its just kinda depressing, I enjoy scenes that are tense like first meeting Carver in ep2 or that raccoon scene in ep4, I felt no joy when he was theatening Clem with a gun in his hand.
Well I just miss the old days with Lee when he was bitten and had 1 arm and it was sad and depressing but fun at the same time as he cracked jokes about it. Kenny can be funny, he was in ep2 with his Vanilla Ice comment for example. I like season 2 but sometimes it suffers from the same thing that tv show did after season 1, too much drama.

Well I feel at the core this is a drama and while light comedic moments happen this thing is about humanity and the personalities that clash. But I do agree that does seem going into melodrama territory at times which I'm not a huge fan of. But hey, it'll get better.

the walking dead is very fun and lighthearted in the beginning but if you read the comics you know its only gonna get darker from here on out. Robert Kirkman has said its basically a soap opera with zombies.

They way Ep4 ended, I'm wondering if Kenny will even be around for much of Ep5. Maybe he'll lose a limb this time. They do seem to enjoy picking away at his soul nearly every episode. He lost his family, his girlfriend and an eye. If he lives in Ep5, a limb is the only other thing they could do to him besides killing him. Maybe he'll be responsible for the baby's death. Ouch! That would really eat what's left of his spirit.
He really does seem to be this game's punching bag for traumatic events.

Robert Kirkman no god and I dont read the comics, I think most people would agree that tv shows season 1 was the best and in TWD season 2 game ep2 and ep4 are the best because of the good mix of humor horror and drama.

the comics are bit slow right now. the show is ass not really a fan of it. season 1 of the show was good expect for episode 6 when they get to the CDC that was a little unrealistic to me.

New life brings new hope, Kenny's been affected so badly that he'll likely never be the same man he was ever again. But still, I think this child's allowed him to notice that there's a light at the end of the dark tunnel he's walking through.
He's always going to have spouts of anger, but I like that to be honest. I'm just glad this episode Luke's been shown to have flaws too and isn't the saint everyone makes him out to be.

Sigh
Yes Kenny's clearly better. The way he over ares about that baby and treated as his own and refusing to let it's mother rest isn't worrying at all.
He's essentially god.
I don't know why but...when Kenny's holding the baby, I feel a little bit scared...especially when he was arguing with Luke with Rebecca calling "where's my baby"...
He‘s trying to seize everything, even if it doesn't belong to him. It may seem to be good for the baby at first, but if something paricular happens...Kenny may go to extremes.
I agree...you said exactly what I want to say. I even hope Lee is still here and they can have a fight... in this episode whenever Kenny's face is before Clem I wish to get the option "throw water to his face"...
Kenny is definitely still breaking, like Bonnie said: "He's not okay...". He was literally beating that walker, and it's pretty obvious he w… moreas looking at it as Carver, and reliving the pleasure he felt when he beat him to death with the same crowbar. His obsession with the baby is creepy, I get that everyone was happy with the birth, but he keeps on trying to take him away from Rebecca even when she says no, because he's trying to have a Duck 2.0. I like Kenny, I really do, but it's obvious he's cracking.

I was angry when he screamed to Clem , but now i just feel his pain about Katjaa,Duck and Sarita...and with the Rebecca's son born , he will be OK , i hope
I do think he's a little too obsessed with the baby, but its better then taking poor care of it. Still a little weird though. He's not very good at dealing with loss, so i wonder what would happen to him if something happened to the baby.

Although it may be good now, it's not, Kenny is psychotic, since the start of the season he's been trying to recreate his original family, nothing good will come out of this.

I didn't really liked him in first season... now i do, but i don't think he is "better", this baby have no chances to survive and most likely this will be the last nail to kenny's coffin or at lest last punch in the gut his sanity can take.
yea babies don't do well in the walking dead but in the comics Maggie's baby is like two so maybe its possible. then again they do have a community in the comics now, in the game they're still on the run.

yea I thought that childish fighting was not very credible. but I guess they wanted to give Clem the ability to pick sides. I bet 90% of all players go for the "calm down"-option because they don't care who's right.

Yeah I always liked Kenny and he doesn't deserve AT ALL all that shit he was forced through. Now maybe he will get a little bit into his senses after having that baby on his shoulders
I think the writers are outright mean to Kenny. They always take people from him and when he is down and out they give him someone to care about only to take that person away as well. He is the one who probably suffered the most and always sort of came back. Doesn't make me very hopeful for the chances of the baby.
The baby is grounding him for the moment but he also started hyperfocusing on it the minute it was born, and acting like it was his. I don't… more think it's going to do any wonders for his rationality. His issues are too deap-seated to truly be mended at this point and if something happens to the baby then he's done, he's going to cease to function or spiral off into crazy town.

For fuck sake I was gonna keep quiet but I've seen nothing from you but absolute Kenny hatred. You say you like Kenny's character, but hate how people think he's perfect. But that's what the game does to people, it's getting them attached to the character, so that when they do a "Walking Dead" on them, we'll drown in our own tears. A lot of people do realize that Kenny has a lot of flaws, such as his constant temper, his hate for people that he childishly wont get over, but he's the Kenny we love, so when we think he's back on track (which I'd say he is with the baby) we like that, because we like him. And at no point did Rebecca complain about Kenny holding the baby except the one time he was arguing with Luke, in which Kenny immediately then gave the baby back? I understand that you're tired of him, but the hate you give him because of reasons that aren't true, or silly reasons such as his fans? That shouldn't be an actual reason to dislike a character. Being a dick like Luke (who I DO actually like) and going to bang a chick while a woman is near birth is why you should slightly dislike a character.
Please don't think of this as hate, just a message to say everyone has characters they love, and we realize their flaws, but in this post, what was the necessary area to post his flaws? We're just pointing he's back on track... hopefully.
Sigh

He's essentially god.
He's not necessarily better... he just found a new reason to keep on living.
He's still quite damaged but like Clem said "Kenny is stronger than anyone."

Kenny is not getting better, in fact, he's getting worse. Every time someone he cares about dies he recreates them in the form of someone else. HE IS DELUSIONAL. You can bet that if Clementine gets in trouble he's going to save that baby (who he just met and isn't even his) over Clementine (the person he knows and is actually useful). Ultimately, somebody else or he himself is going to get killed because of him protecting the baby, and if something happens to it Kenny is either going to go insane or commit suicide.

losing a limb would be too much i think. i hope the baby makes it.
What about his eye, surely it should be infected?
yea it could be he wouldn't let Clem check it so we don't know yet. maybe we'll see it next episode.

Ya, I agree
yea it has
Jesus, Kenny was just kindly asking to hold the baby for a while so Rebecca can rest up for a bit, he's not like: " GIVE ME DA BABY, URBAN!"
I don't know why but...when Kenny's holding the baby, I feel a little bit scared...especially when he was arguing with Luke with Rebecca calling "where's my baby"...

yea that baby has to live.
If the baby dies then we're going to see that Kenny back again.
This time there's nothing else for him to focus on either.
Although it may be good now, it's not, Kenny is psychotic, since the start of the season he's been trying to recreate his original family, nothing good will come out of this.

Let's enjoy the baby while we have him.
I mean, feeding the baby is going to be a big problem. If Bonnie survives, it'll be easier, but if the child dies, Kenny will go insane.
