Online petition to give **** a better death scene?

Here's an idea: What if Telltale were to give Nick's final scene a little more meat before releasing season two on disc?

It wouldn't cost Telltale much, nor would it require an extensive rewrite of the rest of the episode. They'd only have to bring back three VA's - Melissa Hutchison, Christine Lakin, and Brian Bremer, add some new animation, and the new sequence would be good to go.

Clem and Jane would find Nick in the same original position, except he wouldn't be entirely dead yet. He and Clem could have one last dialogue exchange, before Nick expires for good. Then the story resumes as it was before.

Many fans of TWD understand and realize this particular ficitonal universe is unpleasant and often unfair, but the world of video gaming is different from the world of comic books. As a player, allowing a determinant character to live should at the very least be granted a more meaty payoff.

  • I'd love a better death scene but it ain't gonna happen petitions never work.

  • No way. TWD is unpatchable :P

  • You can try but I can guarantee 100% that it won't happen.

  • I really didn't care about Nick for some reason, I felt he was unimportant and had no use but to sit there and make the game look good.

  • Not everyone can have an epic or heart-wrenching death - I think his was dealt with good enough as is, without relying on a clichéd goodbye.

  • "You're being ridiculous." - Carley

No but really, It will never work and what is done is done. People are being aren't being realistic about it. It's a zombie apocalypse, people can die at anytime. I know this game is like a TV show, but I also think Telltale is trying to make everything that happens in this game believable. Every character doesn't have to die heroically

  • If we do this, we should have one for an option to save Sarah.

  • Ah, I see Nick fans are upset XD

  • Lol I love your username it makes me giggle everytime I see it. Then your profile picture makes me lose it xD. How did you come up with it?

  • Personally I didn't think his death was that bad BUT they aren't re doing it that is in my opinion ruin the entire part of twd and that just seems crazy.

I'm a Nick fan. but I'm not upset.

  • I don't think there ks ANY need for any changes. It's more realistic that way. They fou d him dead and when you find somebody dead, in the real world, there isn't sad music playing...

  • I want him to relate to Sarah with Pete and push her up on the skylight sparing Clementine the whole convincing/slapping, dying to save everyone.

As much as I'd want this, what's done is done, it's too late.

  • heh good luck with that telltale are not gonna remake a scene cause of a petition

  • I think that Nick had a good death scene. I mean not the best but it's good in my opinion. According to Luke he went off to find the others and come back with them. Instead he didn't make it but at least he died trying to help.

  • I don't think, Because it doesn't change anything. Nick is dead and won't back.
But I hope that Telltale apologize from us for Nick's sadden death.
