Rebecca just wasn't good at first impressions. Imagine if she was the one who found clementine with the dog bite? But she's one of my most missed characters of this season.
She won me over. I suppose I should have seen it coming that she would be one of the warmest towards Clem since she was so hostile at first, which is a pretty common occurrence in storytelling, but I wasn't prepared to like her so much. It became very easy to forgive her initial hostility once I had a better grasp of what she was going through, and now I actually feel bad that I returned that hostility in episode 1.
I think we all know by now that Carver is the father, biologically, but in my heart Alvin is the father.
Rebecca wasn't bitten. The birth… more was just too much for her and the circumstances(lack of food and supplies, the snow, the threat of walkers around them) they were in didn't help. And they didn't have Carlos with them. Her body just kind of gave out.
Giving birth is EXTREMELY stressful on a woman's body. She was also probably starving and hasn't eaten since they left Carver's camp. Also a… moredd that they probably haven't slept well either.
Another thing is, Giving birth probably dehydrated her alot, she was freezing cold and was prone to infection since birth is a bloody and messy ordeal. exhaustion, infection, and exposure, tbh it would be incredibly unrealistic for her to survive unless they had meds or food.
i still hated her all the way through. if you are evil enough to kill a random onnicent kid and just keeps acting like a bitch to her then you have to work real fucking hard to make up fori t and thrugh these episodes she hasn't done shit for me while i did a lot of stuff for her. shes just as useless and annoying as sarah
YES! My favorite thread on this site. Rebecca and Clementine's relationship is my favorite in this game. It became so human and I just LOVED it. Rebecca means so much to me. And when I saw her transparent, white eyes, it broke the fuck out of my heart. Most emotional death for me. R.I.P in peace mom!
I loved Rebecca so, so, so much. And I still do. Her and Clem... I pretty much hated her at first but episode 2 made me love her, episode 3 made me love her even more, and episode 4 increased my love for her so much that I was just completely broken at the end... I think one of my favorite parts of this episode was when Rebecca calls Clementine her family. Because I really felt that she, Clem, the baby, and everyone else had become a family.
I was fucking shocked at that ending, even though I got spoiled for the choices (UUUUGH). I definitely was NOT expecting something like that. I ended up not shooting her and yelling for help.
But yeah. Rebecca was my queen and I loved her and may she rest in peace with Alvin. We'll protect Alvin-Lee-Omid-Jr. for you, Becs!
Nothing against her, she was pretty likeable, but like every other character on Season 2 I didn't feel anything when she died - I didn't even think twice about shooting her on the spot when she turned.
In Episode 4, I also became very fond of her. Rebecca is one of the best developed characters in the series. In spite of the unknown father, I am sure she would have loved her child nonetheless. However, if you decide to shoot her when she turns, this will almost certainly haunt you in Episode 5.
So, did anyone else here change their opinion about Rebecca as the season went on? This was basically me with Rebecca.
First episode I wa… mores all: "Geez, why do you have to be so mean?"
Second episode: "Oh, you're just under a lot of stress because of the whole Carver thing. I got ya, gonna cut you some slack. You're okay."
Third episode: "You are pretty awesome. I'm sorry about Alvin. Gonna do my best to keep you safe."
Fourth episode: "Don't worry, I won't leave you. You'll be okay. Please be okay!........The baby is so cute! Let me hold him and be an awesome big sister! What, I'm family to you now? Thanks, you're family to me too......Noooooooooooooooooooooooo! Why?!"
Yup, that's me and Rebecca summed up this season.
It really is funny how I came to like her so quickly. As soon as she apologized and admitted that she was just under a lot of stress in episode 2, I lost all hostility. She's so sweet to you in Amid the Ruins. When the camera showed her slumped over at the end, I think I said "Oh no!" out loud. I'm sorry you only got to hold your son for such a short amount of time, Rebecca. :[ Clementine will do her best to take care of him.
I love Rebecca their relationship has really come a long way! I cried when she died just everything happened so fast. Just the baby crying in her arms and her slouched over taking her last breath was the icing on the cake for me :"(
She was a great character but haters still gonna cry that her personality turn in ep 2 was ,,poor writing" and ,,no character development". Ugh. I hate haters.

I love Rebecca
