Kenny is not getting better, in fact, he's getting worse. Every time someone he cares about dies he recreates them in the form of someone el… morese. HE IS DELUSIONAL. You can bet that if Clementine gets in trouble he's going to save that baby (who he just met and isn't even his) over Clementine (the person he knows and is actually useful). Ultimately, somebody else or he himself is going to get killed because of him protecting the baby, and if something happens to it Kenny is either going to go insane or commit suicide.
But why would going for the baby be a bad thing? That baby (and all babies on the planet at the moment) is literally the hope of the world. If that baby lives, and grows up, it can be a part of the human race. That baby dies, the human race dies, and therefore, humans will eventually go extinct. I wouldn't blame him for saving the baby, but if he does stuff like people are suggesting and names the baby "Duck" or something and starts to focus on it instead of anyone AT ALL, then I'll be pissed.

Robert Kirkman no god and I dont read the comics, I think most people would agree that tv shows season 1 was the best and in TWD season 2 game ep2 and ep4 are the best because of the good mix of humor horror and drama.

How likely is it that the baby will survive? It has at least 7 years of uselessness, 5 years of crying or making other noise when danger is near, and all of its childhood needlessly getting itself, and everyone around it into dangerous situations, and on top of all that you have to provide extra resources for it and you have to teach it. If anything all that a baby can do in the apocalypse is get humans killed quicker.

I agree with you. Its the same argument I have with people talking about baby Judith on the show. If no new babies are born, what's the point? Humans would just die out and the zombies would take over.

Everyone is a burden but most of them provide something that makes them useful to the group. I suppose it would be better if nobody had anymore babies and humans just died out?
Kids adapt quicker than you think. I dont think its going to still act like a baby when its five and it can still contribute well before it turns seven. I have a niece and two nephews around that age and they are very smart kids. Its like Judith on the Walking Dead tv show. She's the only one of the group who has no concept of any other type of life. She will have nothing to adjust to. She will learn from the start how to survive in this world and so would Rebecca's baby if he's taught well enough, lol. If they are smart and careful and plan well, the baby would no more a burden than the others. It would be hard but its doable.

Did I say he hated him or wasn't devastated by his death? You can love your family and go to the ends of the earth for them but not always like them as people. From the first episode when he called him dumb as a box of hammers, I got the impression that he just wasnt that impressed with his son. Anyway, all these topics about Kenny had me thinking and its an observation I made.
Yeah, at first glance it seems that way. He especially seems immature next to Clementine. But I dont think he was that dumb. High strung, overactive maybe but he did help Lee figure out that whole thing about the meds in season 1 so I think he is sharper than people think.

If you are wandering and scavenging you shouldn't have a child, no. This is why in these type of scenarios communities and compounds come to exist. This isn't about "everyone should never have children anymore" this is saying that it will only be a determent to a survival group of scavengers and wanderers. Also no "everyone" is not a burden. People pull their weight and ensure the safety of the group = the opposite of being a burden.

Kenny will always have a bit of a temper, we know that. But he just lost Sarita and thought he was alone in this world again. Can't blame him for being a little mad.
But what if something happens to that baby? It's going to be so hard to raise it, especially in the condition the world's in right now. He's looking at the baby as his second Duck. Yeah, he's no longer suicidal because of this baby, but he's mentally unstable. This could escalate into something worse.
It's a moot point to say that someone who is already full term shouldn't have a baby. The baby is here. Now they have to deal with that. Is it ideal? No, but it's not like they were wandering all this time. They had a community when she got pregnant. Yeah, people could stay celibate to prevent any possibility of pregnancy but that just won't happen. And yes, in the sense that everyone needs to be taken care of, fed, watered, tended when they're sick, everyone is a burden to some degree. Most people are able to give back in exchange for that care though, either with providing services or just making someone else happy, like I presume having the baby did for Rebecca for a brief time. There's a time to be practical but you can't just ignore being human and just wanting connections or like Rebecca said, being able to meet someone new.

I couldn't help but chuckle at the title. Yeah, he's uh, totally fine now...of course..
Sorry, but no. Kenny is like a time bomb, and it's not going to take much to make him explode. I just hope Clementine isn't near him when that happens.

If the baby dies, either if it's his fault or not he will probably lose it and the ending might turn out to be Clementine having to fight and eventually kill Kenny and after that she will be the only one alive at the end of the season. Just a theory but I really don't want that to happen. I'd rather have Kenny, Clementine, the baby and at least Mike or Luke (I'm pretty sure on of them will die and Bonnie is as good as dead too if you ask me) to make it through but that's very unlikely since it's TWD so....
They way Ep4 ended, I'm wondering if Kenny will even be around for much of Ep5. Maybe he'll lose a limb this time. They do seem to enjoy p… moreicking away at his soul nearly every episode. He lost his family, his girlfriend and an eye. If he lives in Ep5, a limb is the only other thing they could do to him besides killing him. Maybe he'll be responsible for the baby's death. Ouch! That would really eat what's left of his spirit.
He really does seem to be this game's punching bag for traumatic events.
I wouldn't call it obsessed it's just his gateway, a little spark of hope he tries to hang on to. If the baby dies it's probably done for him and he will go insane, in that case as I've said before it could turn out to be Clementine forced to face and kill Kenny at the end and after that she will be all alone heading towards Wellington. Jane conversations hinted towards Clementine ending up alone and that's a likely theory unfortunately.
I do think he's a little too obsessed with the baby, but its better then taking poor care of it. Still a little weird though. He's not very good at dealing with loss, so i wonder what would happen to him if something happened to the baby.

Well let's the baby stays safe.

Yes, I am.
Please don't think that I'm being a hater on Flog though, everyone has an opinion, I was just explaining mine.
Hey that's between you and him.
Season one was the only half-decent season we got with The Walking Dead tv series, if you ask me.
Yea I agree.
That infant is a burden.
It might be but for now it's fine

Yea but they need to have some babies cuz people are dying left and right.
It all depends how soon they get to a compound/community like Wellington. If they keep wandering and scavenging, it is only a liability.
I know Kenny loved his son but did you notice he doesnt seem to like Duck all that much? He's always calling him dumb.
Well, lets hope the baby escapes the season alive.
Yea Kenny hated his son... thats why he is not mentally traumatised to this day..

No I think Kenny liked duck a lot. I mean at first glance he doesn't seem like the smartest kid around.

If you honestly think it'll take 7 years for it to be useful then that's pretty sad considering a certain somebody was useful when she was only 8

I hope this calms him down, I really do, but the thought of Kenny being in charge of a newborn still makes me extremely nervous.
