Did Telltale forget about Nick?

He was good in Ep1/2. Yet if you choose to save him, He hardly speaks/ has screen time during the other episodes. It seems as if Nick was not worth saving. People complain about Sarah being saved just to die later but at least she has screentime and you can talk to her. Nick was ignored by Telltale.

  • Telltale's just getting lazy,in my opinion.

  • I'm almost sure they just wanted to get rid of him since last ep...

  • I don't think it was so much that they "forgot" about Nick after Episode 2 as it was that was all they ever had planned for his character arc:

Fucks up -> uncle dies -> mopes around -> does something heroic -> fucks up again -> owns up to his mistake or doesn't

Fans of his were expecting more because they thought that episode 2 was building him up for something later, but maybe that was all Nick was or intended to be.

I think heard somewhere that Nick and Luke were initially conceptualized to be one single character. If true, they should have just kept with that rather than split them up and have one of the halves be seemingly incomplete.

  • You have to remember that just because Clementine isn't there doesn't mean he is safe.

  • A broken potential group leader? I like Luke but hes a bad leader and I think having him broken would have screwed up the group's dynamics. As it stands now Luke is all they have as far as leadership goes even if he is a bad leader.

  • He's broken now. the group dynamic is screwed up now. The only difference is that, as it stands, this new trend of him making bad decisions seems to be out of the blue. It might make more sense if he had some past making bad decisions and this current state is just a continuation of that.

Also, Luke is distinctly not the only leader of the group. Neither is Kenny, even though they both think they are. Personally, I think Mike would make a better leader than both of them right now.
