How was Kenny being fucking "weird" about it?!

What did Kenny do that was so weird about the baby for Luke to say "dont be all weird about it." Just by helping Rebecca and having joy of a beautiful baby? God, Luke is a real pain sometimes

Comments

  • He was hogging the baby quite a bit.

  • Kenny's pretty messed up at this point and I am not surprised he's kind of wanting to take other people's kids. He calls Clem Duck and pretty much acts like the baby is his son. It's good to see him being protective of the baby but he has to remember that he is not the baby's dad.

  • That is true, but Rebecca fell down twice with the baby in her hands, so it's understandable for Kenny wanting to take it.

  • Because Luke was pissed Kenny had called him out on his mistake, and he felt as if he needed to call out Kenny on his mistakes.

  • Kenny was taking every available opportunity to take the baby and Rebecca had to ask him twice once to get it back. There was just this vibe that his concern wasn't so much giving Rebecca a break as it was wanting to have the baby as much as possible. He was already acting like it was his new Duck.

  • he is treating the baby as if it is his kenny has never been the same since the whole duck katja thing , him holding the baby probably reminds him of being a father again

  • I don't know the fact that kenny kept insisting to hold the baby even after Rebecca said she's got it (we see what happens later but still)
Like others have said kenny has never been the same ever since he lost duck I acually think this was foreshadowed in ep. 3 when kenny was talking about duck
Makes it harder to remember he was a good boy. I think that kenny wants a replacement to remind him of duck

  • Because hes acting like its his kid..... it is creepy

  • Everything Kenny does at this point is weird.

  • Kenny's looking at Rebecca's baby as his second "Duck". Which is kinda why I'm not sure if I should keep him around.

  • What mistake of Kenny?

Eh, honestly I was alright with him being "weird" about it. If it gives him a reason to keep going and motivates him to help out the group, I'm fine with him looking at Rebecca's baby as his surrogate kid or whatever. The more people concerned about its well-being the better.

  • As everyone else likes to say being too "overprotective" or caring of the child.

He lost everything and that's the only thing he can hang on to.

I was thinking the same. No doubts Kenny cares about the baby and wants to protect it, but after everything he's lost I'm worried he might start getting too protective now that Rebecca isn't there and if anybody tries to take the baby away from him o_o as in saying he's unfit to care for it.

  • I didn't find it weird. I'd offer to hold the baby if I saw Rebecca tripping while she was holding the baby.

  • Kenny kept taking the damn kid from Rebecca to the point where she had to ask for it back on the Observation Deck, lol.

Yeeeah. He's gonna go off and call it Duck soon, and sure, he'll be calmer and such, but. He's losing it, you know? We don't know what's going to happen next. He's somewhat mentally unstable.

  • True but I guess with Rebecca dead, he'll become the baby's new guardian anyway.

Seriously. People are giving Kenny, the man who has lost damn near everything, shit over this? Sure his behavior is bordering on obsessive, but for Christ's sake, let him have this shred of happiness if it keeps him motivated. Besides, Luke was looking for an excuse to take the heat off himself.

  • Kenny never wants to forget that smell

When Luke said Kenny was weird, I thought wtf, He's helping Rebecca. Don't see him trying to help. Also after all he has been through i think the baby being born had given him some hope.

  • I guess it's because he was holding the baby a lot, but then again, like another user mentioned, Rebecca also kept falling. If she fell all the way with the baby in her hands...well....you get the point, so honestly, nothing wrong with him holding it, I guess it's his last thing to live for.

  • Idk, The way he was pushing Rebecca to go, I wouldn't be surprised if he had a whole "If rebecca dies, the baby can be mine" Vibe.
Kenny was acting really really weird and crossed ALOT of boundaries especially when Rebecca was on her last legs and all she wanted to do was be with her child for as long as she could.

Mhmm :S yep, and if that baby dies or Luke gets on Kenny's nerves enough...ah, I'll just be sitting here pissing my pants with fear.

Eh. I don't care for either Luke 'or' Kenny at this point. I only care if they're going to cause trouble.
