Well he could get infected but i don't he will, it doesn't have to be that realistic i guess, and i think it was a clean shot, i didn't see blood, ill check it again.
Yeah, but walker blood generally doesn't do much in the walking dead. Think about it; they smeared it all over their skin, but they didn't asborb it and become infected?
Yeah i was thinking the same, if the game was more realistic everybody would be dead by now, but walker blood can kill like in the comics.

I think its more important if it gets directly into you like mouth or eyes

Also saliva i think, i think thats what triggers the fever plus all the bacteria it has.
Agreed with AmazingAura01. Skin is actually a deterrent for infection; that's one of the main physiological purposes of skin--to keep infection out and separate all the outside nasties from our vulnerable insides. It has a slew of different defenses to keep bacteria and other pathogens out or kill them outright. If there was a breach in the skin (a cut) then that's where infection could seep in.

If the baby dies will it become infected? Maybe it didn't pick up the virus, or whatever makes people turn yet.
Im pretty sure babies have the virus too, they are connected to their mom via umbilical cord so the same virus can get in the baby.
