Everyone please stop complaining and give TellTale some critisim how they can improve!!!
Okay as a walking dead fan I have to say this was a very excellent episode. I was sad when certain things happened. Now on to my little rant
Instead of complaining how the episode sucked maybe you should take the time to give TellTale some fan criticism. Ms. Puzzlebox already stated that giving them some criticism could help improve the episodes. Complaining isn't going to help anything. Tell them things like:
What are some things you would like them to improve for the next episode
What is the back story of the cabin group before Clem came around?
Tell them what you liked and disliked about the episode
Ask them if they can edit the episodes to make them better before coming to Disc versions
Tell them how you think each episode should be like
etc
So just like an Artist, they expect some peer critics so that they can improve their work. Complaining to them about the picture or work won't help them improve. And yes our choices do matter. It's our decisions we made in the episode that determines how they write the story. That's why it's tailored by our choices. The computer at the studio always takes the first set of core choices in the episode, and sends it to the office. They give people at least two weeks to play the episode, then at the end they gather the final choices from each episode and use them to create a new episode. People must understand it takes work to come up with an episode using the choices people made.
Puzzlebox and the rest of the staff would appreciate your peer criticisms. We can't blame them for the episodes turning out wrong. It's our fault because we never speak up. The mods are here everyday, and I'm sure they would like some criticisms too, so they can go back to the office and make the episode better.
I don't care about the dislikes, or likes. I'm just stating the truth. Stop complaining and give some fan criticisms. Thanks have a great day

Thank you this whole forum has become a big whining fest, some of the criticism is really good but there's users just saying "I disagree with one thing so this episode sucks, 0/10"
Don't kill off Sarah. Oh, wait...
(Shhh, I am sad, I have a right to be bitter and petty for a bit.)
I think anyone would be mad if they spent 15 pounds on a game thought they would enjoy it but felt betrayed in the end.
Is there a point? People have given TellTale plenty of constructive criticism, and none of it ever mattered. I'm not saying TellTale are dicks who don't listen, but they clearly have their own ideas on how to tell their stories and they're sticking to it. And that's fine, it's their product. But it should come as no surprise that people can only really complain since any helpful criticism they might think of giving would inevitably fall on deaf ears.
betrayed? that's one of the risks or buying a game. it doesn't always turn out how you like it, I certainly loved episode 4. The character exploration, hubs, puzzles. It was great.
I can tell you about the things they should improve on and people will still see it as if i was complaining.
I liked how Eddie...
Oh wait...
Yes I'm tired of the complaining lol. There's always going to be somebody who tries finding faults in something, so they can complain about it for votes and likes. If people really want hubs they would stop complaining, and message Job or puzzlebox about it on tweeter. Hubs shouldn't really matter in the game because it's the story and characters that make it good. This season doesn't need hubs at all. I like the story is all that matters. People can complain all month about episode 4, but it'll be their fault if the finale is meh. No speaking up means TellTales doing a great job, and don't need criticisim.
first, i loved this episode but i understand where a lot of people are coming from when they criticize it.
second you don't get the point of the complaining, we have had many threads telling them how to improve their game yet it seems like were always just talking to ourselves.
Hey Telltale please don't give us a detrimental character that literally is a nobody in the next episode and then PLEASE don't give that character a disappointing send off in the next episode.
Not if you name the thread criticisms for all telltale staff members... Doing this will allow them to see what the threads about, and use some of them
Nah, I've seen some of the stuff you've criticized about and usually it's pretty legitimate it's just some users who are upset that Luke is with Jane and not Clem that makes me annoyed.
Well if you still want to see Eddie or Nate, I advise people to message Job and puzzlebox about it on tweeter where they're mostly active.

I loved season 1, and hated season 2 ep 1, thought s2ep2 was awesome, s2ep3 was great and was ready for ep4 to be good but was disappointed. I'm not looking for faults, and with every telltale game I go in optimistically. I for one am just trying to help Telltale appeal to everyone.
I respect where you're coming from, but seriously, many people have written walls of text until they're blue in the face, giving very specific examples and suggestions as to how to improve this season. I think people are just tired of feeling it doesn't matter because TellTale isn't really concerned and thus we're all repeating ourselves to no avail. Not to mention, there's a very dedicated and hostile contingent on the board that often make it clear that they don't want to hear dissenting opinions, so.
Telltale staff is mainly on tweeter that's why they never see the criticisms here. Add puzzlebox and job to tweeter and discuss them with them
I actually don't fault Telltale for character deaths.
I too, liked Sarah, but the bottom line is, no...we can't save anyone even if we try. So, her deaath was inevitable. It did have an emotion impact on me to watch her go in such a terrifying, and brutal. I just thought they misused her character. I saved her, she did nothing in the story, then met her fate.
Same goes for Nick. He was handled lazily and haphazardly. The fans who are disappointed aren't angry because people die and we couldnt save then. We get that this is a zombie appocalypse, and maybe TTG is trying to send a message to us. Despite our best efforts, everything will go to Hell this season. That's fine, I get that. I like that. We are angry because the choices don't give us any validation. We dont feel statisfied by our outcomes. Again, the Nick example. We saved him, he stopped talking, he died off screen. That is NOT a satisfying outcome. I dont care that he died! I care that he basically just disappeared from the script the script the moment after telltalle gave us a CHOICE to keep him IN the script. I dunno why I give ice cream examples...but sum it up like this. Its like TTG is giving us ice cream, but not to eat it. NO, I don't buy Rebecca. There was clearly something wrong with her. Her skin was turning colour...she was losing energy. No one checked her for a fever. The BIGGEST sign of turning? I was thinking the whole time they were walking, "she's gunna turn. Check her for a fever...at least discuss what to do with her." The idea that I can guess whats going on...but a group 5 cant even notice is bad writing. Then...she just kind of becomes a walker in a matter of seconds. The way Jane opened up to us felt FORCED and unnatural...I didnt buy it. I didnt find anything about this episode "strong." I know they were trying, but it felt so weak and poorly presented. The climax in episode 2 was brilliance! THAT'S how a climax is done and how to present us with a tough, MEANINGFUL choice. STick with Carlos and save alvin. Run to Kenny and seal his fate.Carlos is a douche....but could you really just abandon him for your closest friends? Brilliant.
Who'se table to sit at was a climax in itself...but did you notice this "choice" effected NOTHING in later episodes...nothing at all...not even Kennies attitude towards us. Whatever...still a great scene.
Here..."hold a baby, don't hold a baby." Really?
"Bonnie gets her arm pulled or clem gets her arm pulled." Are you FREAKING JOKING?
"Keep Sarah in the script as background and die 10 minutes later or just e her now?" Uh huh
"Rob the guy or not?" Doesnt matter! He'll say you robbed him.
Again, I would have been more satisfied had this season just been a series of films. Why give us the choice if there's no pay whatsoever. My advice...stop claiming this is a "game," and just make a movie. I don;t mean this in spite. The empty choices are only angering people....TTG ruined the illusion they established with season 1. With that...maybe an animated series is the way to do. Id pay for it. I believe id be enjoying this season MUCH more if the choices werent even presesnt in the first place.
I know no one is listening but I want to vent.
I made a thread with a poll for all of you who want to give Telltale feedback.

Thank you
If it was Bioware, they'd come with a lecture about artistic integrity....
I have tried.
Yes, thank you rosemary twd for attempting to get constructive criticism flowing. Honestly, there isn't much of that on this forum.
Here's something they can improve on. When you have a determinant character, don't dump this person as a zombie for no good reason when said person didn't talk once the entire episode! Give determinant characters better deaths! Every other death in any part of the walking dead franchise was better than that. That's really the only thing I've gotten mad about throughout the entire series.
You can actually get Alvin killed if you stay to help Carlos, but you can also save Alvin if you go with Kenny, it's interchangeable.
The main plot of Episode 5 is most likely already done, they wouldn't change it to put more characters if they aren't already in (specially if they are fans favorites, like Nate and Eddie)

Wow, betrayed? That is a pretty strong emotion over a video game. I felt betrayed when my friend got with my mother; now that is betrayal!
People HAVE been giving constructive criticism like this forum shows:
http://www.telltalegames.com/community/discussion/77437/might-boycott-telltale-after-episode-4-and-their-lack-of-caring/new
And then you have this
nvm i like frites with sate
But you understand that i'm not "Hateing"?
I really liked this episode and I think it was the best one so far. What I didn't like is how the character deaths were executed. They should put more emotion and character development in most characters(even if they are determinant) before killing them off with a quick time event.
Exactly YOU aren't hating others are simple as that tbh I don't care what people think about the episode but stuff like that pisses me off
Unless you chose [Protect Alvin]
Or you can also chose "Luke! Kenny! Stop!"
get over eddie. how many times has it have to be explained?? eddie wasn't a playable character in the dlc so him appearing in the game is pretty much not happening. where did all these eddie lover get the idea that he was ever appering??? cant believe this game is getting criticism because a stupid character that has nothing to do with the story is not appearing. get over it eddie is not appearing
As far as determinant characters and death go, they really ought to treat them more like Carley/Doug. I know they had a unique situation, since whoever you save, they will fill the role but I'm pretty sure they could've made something work for Nick. Add things for him that could've been passed to say... Mike, if Nick is dead. Even though you know Carley/Doug will die, you still care about whoever you save while they're around because they still have an important role and development with Lee.
Even if they eventually have to die, the choice should feel meaningful at the time. Maybe if there's some significant moment between them and Clem before they die. Rebecca's death wasn't so bad there, because she's been bonding with Clem over the past few episodes, it wasn't the result of 'choices', but tragic and realistic circumstances. And we also had a heartfelt moment with her and baby before she died. Contrast that with Nick. 'Saving' him was a choice, but he did nothing significant or memorable afterwards, and then dies offscreen, to be seen again in a lame way. He should have had a noticeable role in 3 that could have been switched to another character, and had an emotional death scene. His sidelining in dialogue/plot was actually worse than Sarah's since withdrawing is in character for her, but Nick is outspoken. There's no way he'd sit by quietly while everybody else is having their say.
Knowing that none of it matters makes it feel like a waste of time trying. So even if they still die, it should feel worth it to have kept them alive for that bit longer.
Eddie was in the episode 4 little card.
Don't tell me to get over anything, you're not the boss of me.
XD
