What are you gonna do with more time anyways?
I might be trying to pick a fight, but If the story can be told in 90 minutes, film length, why not? Every other thread is whining about episode length. You guys are needy, what more do you need?

Because films and games are very different things... Films have no where near the amount of character development you find in games..
A lot of games (Tetris,Wii Sports) have no character development at all.
Obviously there is not character development in every single game.. Thats why I said "games" instead of listing every game with character development.
I still disagree. Films need character devlopment to be good, games don't.
By putting 'This Story is Tailored By The Choices You Make' on the first episode, so far we've seen very little variance or meaning in our choices outside of theories. We think that extending the time in each episode equates to either more quality or content. And more content gives us more to work with and think about, letting us base decisions over what happens.
Guess in the end, people just like TWD and would love more of it, and think any flaws could probably be hammered out, or at least smoothed over. And considering alot (Note: Not EVERYONE.) of people consider Episode 4 one of the better episodes of the season, and having longer playtime to it, might validate that line of thought.
Tetris bro? Wii Sports?
lmao quit trolling
So tell me what Telltale games The Walking Dead would be without character development? Would it have won game of the year back in 2012?
I'm not (Maybe a little). Tetris and Wii Sports don't have character development.
I guess that makes sense. I'll buy it. I still love the gam either way.
Lol. you must be joking.
What would more time do? idk, learn and be more attached to these characters?
What did Luke do before the apocalypse? what did Nick? What did Pete? What about Rebecca and Alvin? What about Sarah? Did Sarah have any friends before the outbreak?
What about Sarita? What did sarita do before the outbreak?
Were they all from Georgia?
Sarah could grow to be your best friend?
What are some fond memories between Pete and Nick?
has Alvin killed any zombies before? What about Carlos?
Any particular incidents during their time with Carver aside from "It was horrible!".
What was mike before the apocalypse? What was mike doing before he even arrived in Carver's group? What about his family? Where's Luke's family?
We knew what Doug was. We knew what Carley and Lily were. We knew what Christa and Omid did to stumble into Georgia. We knew Vernon.
Just cause people complain about gametime doesn't mean they don't like it, or think people are stupid for liking it anyway. They're just really invested in the series, and people show that alot of different ways. Critique, or Defense.
Tetris... i lost a couple brain cells reading this thread
If the episodes were of better quality I don't think I would have any problems with the length being around 90 minutes.
If the story can be told in that amount of time, sure. But it can't, so they end up rushing things. That's my issue with it.
Because the story could have been told better with more time.
Tetris has no characters, therefore is valid.
The game would be nothing without character development.
xD What is wrong with people? you complain about people giving criticism to TELLTALE stop acting like you guys work for them. Also yes the 90 minute episodes are ruining the experience but it doesn't matter at this point this season is gone.
XD
that hurts man... it really hurts
The truth hurts bro all we can do is hope for a better next time.
Films and Video Games aren't depicted the same way.
invalid
Person 1: Films have nowhere near the development of characters as games do
Person 2: Oh yea. Well FILMS ARE BETTER THEN TETRIS SO
I sure hope I'm not person 2.
