Nick Breckon writing episode 5
I am pretty happy that he will be writing episode 5. In case no one knows he is the one who wrote episode one and two of season 2.. which I consider this season's more stronger episodes, I think he will be doing the characters from the start of the season justice, Especially Luke and Kenny..
He did Kenny's character Justice in episode 2 and continued him well.. And I think he can get Luke and Clem's brother/sister role they were forming in the first 2 episodes back on track too.. And if there is a "pizza and Ice cream" choice he will be the one who can pull off all the emotional scenes.. The table choice in episode 2 was already hard enough..
All that remains is to see if he can pull of a Lee sequence I hope that our decisions from season one as Lee will come into play in the final episode... His actions will affect your dialogue choices or things he did will be mentioned by Kenny.

im not a writer so i don't really understand the process, but would Nick be happy that episode 4 writers killed characters off if in earlier episodes when he was writing he had them maybe them living for another season? ....this is why there should be 1 writer or 2 working together on every episode.
I trust Nick to make this the best episode yet. I really do.
Just me that remembers people complaining about poor writing and such in episode 1?
I trust Nick. He'll do one big massive heartbreaking finale. About Lee; One thing I liked about in ''All That Remains'' was when Clementine starting to talk about him. Telling Luke what kind of person he was. That scene right there made me shed a tear. Atmosophere, music, Clementine's point of view about Lee, Voice Actors performance, that scene was pure amazing. And our choices MATTERED in that scene. I hope there will be one like that again.
Believe me when I say the writers work together. It's not like one writer can go off and write whatever they like. Though sure, one or two writers might have more say. Like, for example, the lead writer. If season 2 has one and I assume it does.
i remember! (Clemmy1 will remember that)
It better be good, because if it's not I'm done with this series. That is, if it's not just going to end on episode five already.
Glad to hear that. I thought I was slowly going mad, or it was my old age showing, making my memory poor. Can't really remember the reception to episode 2, however, but I know there were at least a few complaints. Wouldn't surprise me if it was similar to how the forums are now though.
It might also mean that Nick [the character] will get some proper mourning, such as Luke finally talking to Clem about it.
He really portrayed their friendship well in EP1 and EP2. Then when they changed the writer for EP3 Luke suddenly doesn't realize Nick exists anymore
At least episode one made sense...
Nick Breckon is the lead writer of season 2 just as Sean Vanaman was the lead writer of season 1.
Thought so, just wasn't a 100% sure.
Anyhow, think of it like this:
Outlines are written and the writers discuss it. Then one or two writers might be tasked with writing the actual episode according to the outlines. But they don't have total free reign and there's still quality control. So, I'm sure Nick would have a pretty good hand in saying what should be kept and what shouldn't with being the lead writer. (Not sure in the video game world, but the lead writer would also be the editor?)
Anyhow, that's roughly how it works. Maybe not 100% correct, as I've not worked for a game development company before and I guess every studio has differences in how they operate. But yeah . . . assume it's roughly how things work.
The table choice wasnt hard at all
Sit with (people who locked you in shed)
Or sit with
Best Friend Redneck Hillybilly who you love
yea because the writers from episode 3 and 4 are terrible i mean there good but 1 and 2 are amazing my favorite is 1 and 2
I hope Breckon's Icecream or Pizza decision isn't Kenny or Luke. Luke is too reckless for me and Kenny's sanity is dependant on the baby, which I can't give too much chances of survival. Bonnie/Mike/Jane would be much logical companions for Clem. Even being alone would be better for her than these 2.
I am so happy that he is writing the finale. I just feel he is a very good writer. But, that's just my opinion.
I really hope he dosnt turn Kenny and Luke into being perfect, again.
Nobody could say better) Totally agree
So either 5 people hate kenny or cant stand the Truth. Lol
Like it or not, its inevitable.. Luke and Kenny are both coming to a head.. if they both survive this firefight they will probably both be pretty pissed at each other and arguing non stop.
Sit with people you've come to know and trust, not all of whom wanted to lock you in a shed
or
Sit with the mentally unstable guy who wouldn't even go look for you because Lee didn't agree with him 100% of the time.
Im so excited..In episode one and two I cried couple of times..The scene sitting at the couch with kenny was so awesome I also liked at episode one when Clem was talking about lee to luke..Just amazing. The writers of episode 3 and 4 aren't bad but they just didnt give us the drama we all wanted.I hope the SEASON finale will be great.
p.s:I mentioned "season" because Im hoping for third season
Really? Cause all I see was Luke and Nick (who really You just met and he doesnt think you are bit and is fine). And then I see Rebecca (the girl who is a btch at the start and Alan who really doesnt help you much)
Also Kenny came with me to help find/get Clementine.. So I have no clue what your talking about
I know that Nick Breckon knew about what will happen in future episodes. He's the lead writer so he has to know. Anyway, it's a lie saying that if he could wrote episode 4 then ____ would be still alive. It's a lie because he approved it as lead writer. I'm not saying that it's your opinion but I see that most of users here think like that.
I have a suspicion Rebecca's shooting is the "incident" Gavin Hammon was referring to...
Well it could also be just one of them surviving and he'll be either pissed at you or with you at the end. Though it would be very similiar to season 1 so people wouldn't be happy with that, especially if it'd be Kenny who survived. With choosing between Luke and Kenny my biggest problem is not that I don't want either of them, but that it's too predictable
...Or they can't stand ignorant people who think their opinion is factual and correct.
Sometimes the things that you know are coming can be even more emotional than things you dont know are coming.. I don't think if you save one the other will die... I think if you save one the other one will still survive but remember you didn't save him.
Except I am correct because they did lock you in a shed? >.<
If you're not even going to bother having empathy for the cabin group, I won't waste my time with you.
Honestly.. The game got better to me as it went on. Yey cliffhangers
Most people thought episode 2 was awesome(probably because of Kenny)
I choose team.....
TeamLukeAndKennyAsFriends
Writing an episode as fantastic as A House Divided is not for everyone...
So yeah, Episode 5 is in good hands
ummm... what exactly happened to sean vanaman?. you know the lead writer of season 1.
I totally agree with you on the first sentance man...when i first finished season 1 i cried and got depressed for a few days after...2nd time i was a little sad but the 3rd time i finished i cried again like a lil' bitch...i broke at the "i'll miss you" part even though i always choose that option...just thinking about it can make me water
Who you can get to help look for Clem is up to you as a player. You could get everyone to come along if you're savvy enough. If not all of them you can get Christa, Omid and choose between Kenny or Ben (that's what happened in my playthrough); so I don't think you should blame Kenny for something that was really your choice..
This whole season has been awesome and thats partly because of Nick breckon so im glad he's writing the finale. He's a talent writer.
I didn't really see much of a difference in the quality of episodes 3, 4 and 1, 2. But 1 and 2 were a bit better, so this is good news.
He left Telltale to start his own company, IIRC.
