It was done on purpose to make it more intense! So we didn't get to see who got shot.
Episode 4 ended with a ginormous cliffhanger in the form of a shootout.
A preview would be hard to make without massively spoiling the outcome of the shootout (who lives, who dies, etc.)
Listen Larry, calm down before kenny thinks you came back from the dead. Basing on episode 4...no...I hardly would think it was done on purpose to make it more intense.
