Do you think they made Season 3 because...?
Do you think Telltale made Season 3 mainly because of the complaints for 'Season 2' and they wanted to make a good season featuring Clementine when they were less swamped with other projects?

The reviews for Season 2 have been overwhelmingly positive. It's just people on these forums that seem to not like it.
The only people complaining are people on the forums.telltale is making season 3 because there is a huge demand for it and because it is a huge money maker for them.
Well no matter what i just hope season 3 will be full of feels
Lol, people acting like season 2 is no good /facepalm
Nope. Its because Telltale make a lot of money from it.
We are like 5% of the fans that buy this... we are a small minority.. So things seem bad here when everyone else likes it.
Probably because so far, everyone, aside from the forums, loves season 2.
So far, episode 4's the only one that had some less than stellar reviews.
They're making Season 3 because they like $$$.
Duh.
because of money. it would not be surprising if they make it as horrible as season 2. fans would eat anything up that says TWD on it even if the story is horrible.
Because
Clem is love, Clem is life
Probably money, but you know what? If they take the complaints about Season 2 and try to correct them for Season 3, I can't say that I mind why.
What? no.
All that remains has less positive reviews.
Reason = $$$
TellTale is a company
A company needs money or it goes out of business
TellTale knows The Walking Dead is their most successful game yet
Making more of Walking Dead equals more money
(Seriously thought, I'm exited)
even though twd brings a lot of $$$ I'm sure they really enjoy writing the story lines and the moral choices for it as well.
What complaints? Oh, them. Nah, pay no attention to those loonies, it's all been perfect.
Half the forum and then the world from the looks of S2's critical reception look at us like we're a bunch of idiots.![:/ :/](https://community.telltalegames.com/resources/emoji/confused.png)
Season 2 isn't horrible and the story isn't either, sure it could have been better, but a lot of people have been making season 2 out to be like complete garbage stay away from it, if anything it's better than your average story, just cause it isn't season 1 doesn't mean it's awful lol.
I'm guessing it's a mixture of a couple things like a desire to continue the story, money, and the encouragement from fans.
I don't think so. The Walking Dead is a successful IP. Telltale is a company. Companies need money. They also seem to enjoy working on the series.
The math is simple.
I would certainly like for some criticisms of S2 to be considered when developing it, sure, but I doubt that this small vocal minority is what drove that decision.
Season 1 wasn't all that perfect either so idk what you're talking about. And it's my opinion like it or not. Not everybody will like season 2 and you need to acknowledge that. For me, it just didn't meet my standards and it could've went better but it didn't. It's cool that you like it and all but I consider it bad.
Stop Elias (we have the same name
), you cant be so negative about Season 2 try to find positive things and embrace them. Dont dwell over the flaws in Season 2.
Really?
I remembered it being on par with, S1E4
Well the reason why majority of people think of this season as another perfect game is that they do not invest extra time in it. They play one episode per 2 months, forget about all previous story, remember just what they've been shown at "PREVIOUSLY ON THE WALKING DEAD" and don't realize a lot of things do not add up.
The thread "Shame on you Telltale" might be the only chance to get Telltale to notice and possibly improve in season 3.
I also love this season 2 anyway, just makes me sad it could have been handled so much better.
They don't give a flying crap what we forumites think so long as the money keeps coming in. While I don't have any sales figures, I think the fact a season 3 has been greenlit is pretty solid evidence Season 2 sold quite well.
Yes! We're makin' it a trilogy, people!
I was personally excited, hearing that they're ringing in for a new season.
Yeah sorry I probably don't hate season 2 really, it's just the deaths that got me so fucked up. I've made numerous posts before that if sarah dies I'd cry and riot or something. I loved episode 1 and 2 but 3 and 4 were disappointing and didn't meet my standards. give it a few weeks though and i'll probably stop my rants.
Yes, you are...
I loooove season 2
I liked season 2. And I'll like season 3.
Glad to hear it! Me too![:D :D](https://community.telltalegames.com/resources/emoji/lol.png)
I guess NO GOING BACK will tell us that.
I think they will end the season well, but not so sure.
Yeah on metacritic episode 4 is at 79 episode 1 is at 77 or 76
the only problem i didn't like was that arvo says you robbed him even if you didn't and all you can say to defend your self is that jane stole not me no matter what the group wrongful might blam you for starting the fight by stealing that is what i don't like about episode 4 episode 5 might start like that after the shoot out is over
