Episode 5: Discussion and Predictions!

edited July 2014 in The Walking Dead

Since Telltale confirmed a Season Three of The Walking Dead and a rumor for release date for Episode 5 being September 23, 2014, I decided to make my predictions (THESE ARE BASED OFF FROM THE LEAKED ACHIEVEMENTS).

Blood and Iron: Made it out alive.
Obviously, this will continue from when the screen goes black and you hear lots of gun fire. Like from Episode 3: In Harm's Way, left off of your choice from killing the zombie or cut off Sarita's arm. Episode 4: Amid the Ruins picks up immediately from your choice. Of course Clementine will make it out, I do believe Kenny, Luke, Bonnie (she'll possible have a bruise. Because in Episode 4, if you didn't want to enter through, Bonnie will reach in for the knob to be attacked by a walker and will have a bruise on her face). I do think we'll be left with a choice to rescue the baby or leave it. If you pick nothing, Luke, Kenny, or Bonnie will probably try to rescue the baby from the dead Rebecca.

Miles To Go: Take a breather:
This part is pretty self-explanatory, the group takes a break from escaping a brutal gamg from Arvo. This is where you'll probably do some looking around in the area to look for some goods or supplies because after that battle, they'll be short on ammo or in need of food. Luke will probably hold a grudge and ask why'd you or Kenny (If you didn't say anything or Shout for Help) shot Rebecca or be in grieve from people dying (Remember from Episode 1, if you chose to tell Luke you killed Lee. "Luke will remember that").

Right of Frost: Stopped for the night:
The group will stop and think of a plan and Luke and Kenny will argue (Like Lee and Kenny use to do a lot) over what to do. Depending on what you say, Luke or Kenny will probably snap at you taking a side. Mike and Bonnie will probably jump in to side with whoever and probably try to stop the argument and say like "C'mon we all need our rest for tomorrow. Still got longs ways to go. Save your energy.".

Center Cannot Hold: Reached the other side:
Judging by the trophies thumbnail, it'll probably be another hoard of walkers the group needs to pass. I do believe someone will die on this end (probably Mike or Bonnie gonna buy some time for the group to get across safely). After someone distracts some walkers, you'll probably be trapped and need to find an opening or a way across through the icy cold waters or river. Depending on a choice, it will most likely affect the outcome scenario (Like in Episode 4, we tried to get the canon to block the gate so the walkers don't get in, and the deck fell apart and Sarah died, if you saved her) of what will happen during the crossing, my guess, someone dies.

All the Dark Night: Made it through to morning
The way the thumbnail is, the group is cracking even further to crazy, like Jane said. Everyone is probably losing their will or trust others after what happened to the people that died for them so far. The group would basically be on the tip of the breaking point. Walkers or people (The guy from Episode 1, if you gave him water or not, you might run into him and depending on your choice he'll either be nice or a jerk to you).

We Slowly Drove: Reached the terminus:
Meaning that you reached the Wellington place but see that it'll not all it seems (another terrible Carver camp I feel coming or from TWDS1 , when you went to the dairy farm and found out their little secret). You'll probably escape or get caught then go through beatings or tortures. I mostly think you'll meet a new character that'll help and be friend to you and help you escape. Which also means that someone will die.

Stop For Me: Found your way through:
I do believe Bonnie or Mike (depending on who's alive) will die to help you get through and you'll most likely have a choice to save or leave em. Mostly, you'll have to make a huge choice to save Luke or leave Kenny to die (Telltale likes to make life to death choices often in RPG games).

All The Dead Lie Down: Completed "No Going Back".
This will be the end, I believe you'll have a major choice to do. Like Jane said "When things go south, it's best to be on your own." You'll most likely choice who to save or abandon Kenny or Luke (depends on who lives). I do believe Clem will be in charge of the baby. I do believe we'll see a huge cliff hanger like from Episode 2 Trailer, Clementine saying, "I thought you were dead". We'll probably be left hanging with a twist of a character showing up.

Keep these in mind when you think about who dies and such. TTG always show a peek by examining the Episodes trophy thumbnails and the Episode thumbnails itself. Also, TTG like to have a surprising twist in the end, not a repeating end. As of now, there isn't a new main character to take another main role in Season Three.

Characters and their deaths:

Mike: I do believe Mike won't live due to him being a good person that will help like, be a distraction and buy time. He seems like someone that'll always try to be the hero in everything.

Bonnie: She'll probably be in a scene like when Kenny told Lee and the others to go on and people thinking he's dead. Bonnie is someone that wants to do the right thing and care for others safety than her own.

Luke: Like reminds me of another Lee because he does do teamwork very well but now he's think ahead to do whatever it takes to survive. Even leaving loved ones. Luke is already in terrible condition to do anything to. He'll wind up getting bit or shot (like Nick).

Kenny: Kenny is pretty much spoken to be continued. He's mentally and physically in pain. Lost another lover and trying to do all at once. He'll get himself killed like that. I see Kenny taking another beating. However, I think he'll be ok, for now in this season.

Clementine: I really don't see her dying like Lee did in episode 5. This season is basically about trust and hardships. She'll mostly do what Jane told her about letting go and be on your own. Because, Clementine dying, that will be TOO predictable and not a surprising twist. Telltale always wants to surprise their fans with a twist. Doing to Clem is not a surprise at all. I believe Clementine and whoever you saved will be left to care for the baby.

These are just theoretical predictions. What do you guys believe will happen in the SEASONAL FINALE?!

  • About Wellington: Tbh a legitimately friendly leader in a strong , level-headed community will genuinely surprise me more than anything.

  • Yh, me too. TTG likes to surprise us. Thts why I put maybe a repeat from the crazy leaders because they may be friendly. TTG dont like repeat though.

  • Haha, until now every community in The Walking Dead universe turns out to be a group of psychopaths. Crawford, Woodbury,...

  • September 23rd where did you get them rumors from ! :o, telltale said that episode 5 is going to be coming soon, very soon on their SDCC recently.

  • what did he mean the s3 will be on September ?

    there is no way

  • Aha after re-reading this he does actually say like season 3 is going to be released this september but no he's talking about Episode 5

  • Very good predictions but I dont know about Terminus being a bad camp. If you would have to get there, go in, find out its bad, get out, ... that would make that episode 3 hours long. And that's no longer probable.

But even reading those gaves me chill.

  • S3 is going to be out around like February I think, given that we'll get Borderlands nad Game of Thrones in between and also TWAU will start somewhere before S3.

  • I honestly hope they all live, as despite the group problems they seem like a good place to start in season 3. A small established group

  • Rumor for episode 5. I heard it from IGN and walking dead wiki.

  • The terminus on here is Wellington. Like the rest stop. Mostly they skip some scenes like TT always do.

  • Thts literally not gonna happen. We all know that some people will die in the episode 5 based on the thumbnail and the trophies icons and title. Season 3 will probably be a time skip
