Did Clem Foreshadow Her Own Death?

Before you start down voting, understand that I like Clem and want her to live, this isn't me saying I want her to die, it's saying what I think may happen
Alright so when talking to Jane shortly before she leaves she will say that you don't owe the group anything, if you say that you owe the group everything she says "Well they can't keep you safe forever", this will prompt Clem to say "No one is safe forever" is this maybe foreshadowing her own death? what do you guys think?

Dear god I hope not.
I don't think they will kill her off, though.
I think that it's pretty stupid idea to kill off main character second time. It's not about that I really like Clementine. I just think that they won't kill her. At least not now.
Clem cant die its imposible.
No they wouldn't kill off Clem. For one thing, it would be repeating Season 1 a lot. Also, they know they will lose like half of their fanbase for Season 3 if they kill her off.
In Bioshock Infinte they killed the protagonist off... Three times but I don't think TTG will do that they will lose customers
Shes a huge cash cow for Telltale, so IMO no. But maybe on down the road anything is possible
I doubt they would kill of Clementine. Season One and Two would be pretty much pointless just to die at the end anyway. Plus with the confirmation of a third season, it sounds like she'll be returning.
Maybe but Clementine is like Rick. She's the main character, it's her story from the very beginning. Maybe Lee was protagonist in season 1 but Clementine was second main character. It was always about her in the game. Just like with Rick in the comics or TV Show. Kirkman already said that comics are about Rick and his efforts to stay alive and keep everyone alive. I think that Clementine is that kind of character in Telltale Games story.
I agree that she probably foreshadowed her own death but in the far future. Like some others have mentioned, it'd be a repeat of the first season and, if I wanted to play the same exact story, I'd play S1 again. It seems stupid to kill off the main character twice in a row.
I would even say that it's
some people are saying that they don't want clem as the P_C they want someone new and new group they don't know that means the story has to go back to day 1 if that happens season 1 and 2 are pointless they are idiots
''I'd shot me.''
What about that?
They won't kill her off...yet.
I can see in a few seasons time when the numbers of the walkers are finally thinning, maybe then she might sacrifice herself for a young child like Lee did for her. That way she dies after surviving the worst of the infection.
That's true
If Clem dies..

That is a pretty good point. Although, oddly enough, I think the stories are a bit different where Bioshock can afford that kind of luxury and TWDG cannot. A weird thing to say considering that you'd think no one would be safe in a zombie apocalypse; but if they constantly kill off the main characters I think that there would be no hope for the players. By that I mean, why continue to play and have your character struggle to survive only to die at the end of every season? In a world where hope gets further and further away you want to show someone who can persevere and overcome the obstacles, not someone who is squashed down by the tyrant that is the zombie hoards.
Also if everyone will sooner or later die then all of humanity is doomed. I mean there must be a people who will survive either way. In every type of apocalypse we can see that kind of people who survived the first months or even years of extinction so it's also possible in ZA that someone could survive from the very beginning a long time. In the game we're 2 years after walkers came so why Clementine couldn't survive another 2 years? Or just a year? 3 years or maybe a few months?
Or it could simply just be she's not feeling very upbeat and optimistic at the moment, seeing as how there's a zombie apocalypse going on.:)
Sorry. Couldn't resist.
Actually, if anything, I think the game has been foreshadowing Clem being the sole survivor yet again. It keeps going on and on about how she's the shockingly adept and strong-willed and everyone else sucks compared to her.
she wasn't foreshadowing clem's death jane was warning her that jacket wasn't safe jane wants clem to live just like she warned her that group wasn't safe but jane thought clem will never leave her group so she was sad for her and said everyone's luck runs out jane thinks clem will die with the group
I don't understand why people think Clem is invincible ... I mean I like her too but you really wouldn't buy the next season unless she was the protagonist? That's stupid and I'll enjoy the game while you say you won't buy it then pre-order a season pass and feel ashamed that you were so childish to begin with. #downvotedontcare
If I were a Telltale employee, I'd make her survive only to kill her off in the MIDDLE of the first episode of season 3. Yeah, that's right. How would you like that? I have faith that they'll tell a good story and it'll be the one that they want told. I hope they don't just leave her alive for fan-service... That would be so much more horrible in my opinion.
no a new protagonist means a new person that means we have to start from day 1 again because we want to know the back story to we know clem's full storyline to right now and clem's not invincible sam hurt clem really bad ............it would kill the whole game this is clementine's story like the comics is rick's story
I don't mind starting from the beginning and maybe in episode 5 of that season, we meet whoever survives this one ...
Then maybe even a dual protagonist for season 4 should it happen. I just find it silly that people say they'll boycott a game if their favorite character isn't in it. Lucky that people didn't do that for series like Final Fantasy or they would have been screwed!
Killing characters off for 'shock value' is a lazy tactic by bad writers. Plus the gimmick of losing a protagonist has already been done by Lee.
Not even Season 2's writers are dumb enough to kill off their series' mascot.
