Why so many people hate Clem?
Recently, i saw posts like: " i don't want to be Clem in season 3!" or " Clem is a bad character" or "I hope Clem will die" etc...
Now i ask myself:
Are these people seriously!?!?
I mean, hate Clementine!! Come on!! It's impossible!!
TWD will not be the same without Clem, is like Comics or TV show with Rick...
I want to see more seasons with my Clem that grow up with my choises, but it's really weird how someone says this sucks...

Because people feel Telltale is milking the players bond with Clementine and lowering the quality of the game with each new season. Honestly I think this game should have ended in season 2. Sad to see the game kind of going that way.
I really wish people would stop having such figurative hard-ons for Rick and Clem. There's other characters more deserving of those erections. Namely Negan, Kenny and Jane.

I love clem. I don't like the idea of playing another character unless I can play as kenny. I think they should age clem again to late 20s that has found love.....I duno just chucking it out there lol
Not wanting Clementine to be the protagonist of season 3 =/= hating her. Some people just think her story has run its course and want to play from a different perspective. I know it's easy to get attached to her, but as previously mentioned, she's not the only character in The Walking Dead.
Besides, I think seeing an even older Clementine would kinda ruin the charm of her character. But that's just me.

We don't know what's gonna happen in episode 5, so don't say that yet.
Hard-ons for psychopaths? Why not throw in Carver, Nate, Andy St. John, and Winston in there too?
I never understand why this particular series has fans for the villains, when it's evident that they're actually pretty rotten human beings?
I'm okay with Clem being the protagonist of Season 3 but I would like to see a season with Clem as the Side character so we can how our choices have affected her, and they could make our choices matter more this way... But I love Clem no matter what they decide to do....
People like them because they are interesting and well written characters and make the story more interesting. My favorite character from 400 Days was Nate, and I absolutely detest him as a human being. But as a character he is just so good.

Why do you think that? Why couldn't it be that Clem meets new a new group at the end of no going back and we get to play as one of them. Another scenario could be, that assuming Kenny survives, we get to play as Kenny instead. Another option would be that we get to play as Christa after she and Clem got seperated and the season is about finding Clementine. There are multiple possibilities for a new protagonist and keeping Clementine as part of the story. One does not exclude the other.
I've seen only couple individuals saying they hate Clem.
Lee is one of the best video game protagonists ever, but I still don't want him to come back from dead and be protagonist again.

I don't think I ever saw threads dedicated solely to hate Clementine(I'd feel sorry for the one who tries that), but rather threads saying she shouldn't remain the protagonist in the next season, as you already mentioned.
Do I want that? No, not really. Unless the story would be mind-blowing from start to finish, but as of right now, I would find it too tiresome to start the whole process again with a new protagonist, mainly because we have a fairly good idea what to expect: you survive, stumble upon some survivors, trouble appears, people die...I don't mean to sound negative, but there is so much you can do in the apocalyptic genre before things start to get repetitive.
With that being said, I want Clementine to remain the protagonist for S3 since I would feel a sense of continuity that way. Then again, I also wouldn't flip out or not buy anything TWD related if something does happen with Clem.

I love Clem as the protagonist, just not as a child. She should either grow up to be an adult or just be taken in our care as the protagonist, i would rather protect a kid then be a kid. Because, well im not a kid.
Don't get me wrong, i loved the ride so far, its fun to see the limitations of a child protagonist, although there aren't many. I really wanted to be Mike when i couldn't lift those damn water bottles :P
So a season playing kid Clem is great, another season playing her as a kid would become less fun imo. So i hope we get to play Clem as a young adult or even still an older teenager. Or get a new protagonist. Christa, Jane, Luke or even Kenny would work. I would love to play the asshole Kenny is :P. And possibly even redeem him.
I actually made a post describing Clementine as underdeveloped recently. It got downvoted into oblivion. People that criticize Clementine as a character are in the minority.
I agree. I get this huge rage of fury whenever I see all those Clementine hate threads that don't exist.
Maybe if they don't want Clem as the protagonist, we could be a new group member of sorts that joins her group two years after the end of Season 2 [alligned with the comic timeline], and we get to see how our choices have affected her personality,whether she will be difficult to deal with, distrusting, etc.
If you left Sarah behind, she'd leave you behind if you got hurt, if you saved Sarah, Clem would try to save you if you got in trouble.
If she chose Kenny at EP5 , she'd be a bit hot-headed and distrustful,if you chose Luke, she'd be a bit calmer and more trusting, maybe to a fault.
Stuff like that, you know?

I have not found Clem as a playable character to be anywhere near as compelling as what it was when playing as Lee. That I suppose is just another thing that is poor in season 2.

Most of the people you see saying "I hope Clem dies," and such are trolls. Many of the people you see saying they don't want her in season three just think that the series/franchise would be better off if they start following a new group/person. I don't exactly agree, but I can see their point.
And this is just the start. Consider me to be like Jane. An expert when it comes to sequels and marketing crap. I've seen this sad progression of getting worse and worse happen to so many games.

I love Clem but I wouldn't mind playing season 3 as a new character (or other npc) because we'd get a whole new perspective in the Walking Dead world. I'd love playing as Clem again in season 3 but it'd be cool to see the ZA from a different view.
Of course playing as a new character doesn't mean we won't see more Clem. :P I guess we won't know that until episode 5 and episode 1 of season 3.
I don't hate her, i just don't want to play as her when there are so many better opportunity's. We can get a backstory from Mike if we play as him. That sounds pretty good.
Playing as a new character sounds cool. Playing as Clem again would just lead to another time skip and i hate those.
