Anyone…
…actually MISS Carver? I mean, the dude was an assclown, but I feel like he brought a lot to the series. I can't help but wonder what the series finale would be like if he was still around.

God, no.
No, I don't miss him and I don't want him to come back just in case he ever catches me picking berries one day.
No, but he was a interesting character, he seemed like a good guy from unused stuff, but something turned him into the governor like character , and that's when he killed Walter, and Reggie, then Beat Kenny....
He was definitely a crazy bastard, but imagine how different it would be if he was on our side.
I don't miss him, but I do agree with you on the 'assclown' part.
I think we can get a fairly good idea from Kenny's character arc.
While I don't miss him, Episode 4 pretty much proved him right. Carlos, Sarah, Sarita, Nick, die less than a day from escaping from his camp and Rebecca barley surviving a few days after that.
That's exactly why I tried to save Sarah in the trailer, because I tried to prove that I wasn't like Carver and that I DON'T leave the weakest links behind, but it turns out he and Jane knew the score before anyone else.
I would've liked if keeping Carver around meant developing him as a morally grey antagonist. I don't particularly miss the psycho he was during In Harm's Way.
I thought that his story ended a little quickly but I'm glad he's dead now. I think the story's going in a cooler direction now.
Not really, Kenny has had his "moments of difficulty" but he hasn't gone as low as Carver did, Kenny isn't perfect but he's more than you're giving him credit for... (And If we had Caver on our side then.. Kenny Stare..)
Mike was right. His shelves were always full. Plus you could keep warm much easier.
I do, I wish he could have stayed alive until at least Episode 4.
Nah I'm good.
Yes.
I miss him in the sense I wish they could have done more with him. He had a lot of potential to be the best antagonist Telltale has made, but was killed off too early.
He wasn't the cookie-cutter villain, and that's what was so cool. This season really needed a force to work around, and Carver WAS that force. Now we have some Russians that came out of nowhere. (And are probably holding Christa hostage.)
Yeah, They probably killed him off because of rewrites and because his type of character has already been seen in the comics and show... Wish they could have done more with him though...
Please let them be holding Christa hostage. Not cause... Well, you know!
Yeah, the Russians are WAY too stereotypical, and why are the Russians even there? So Telltale can make more money by making a play off politics hmmmm..
I think we might meet Christa in a Wellington in ruins, because any where else besides Carvers Camp(but that didn't work out) would seem too unrealistic for me...
If he was still around? Probably something with a militairy tank and a prison building, dunno.
It would be cool if they had a dlc that showed what he used to be like
Tbh, Christa is either dead or in Wellington. I feel like the Russians are more of a travel pack, so I don't think they would hold anyone hostage.
I didn't like Carver as a person, but I did like him as a character. I was, at first, actually sad when they killed him off because I thought he was such a good villain and he had an awesome voice (Michael Madsen from Reservoir Dogs and Kill Bill). I did realize he had to die, though (he told Rebecca he was going to kill her and the fucking baby), and I sat back and thought how good his episodes were: Episode 2 was definitely my favorite this season, with Carver's introduction being one of my favorite scenes from either season, and that ending! Episode 3 wasn't as good in my opinion to 2 or 4, but it was still great, I loved every scene and bit of dialogue with Carver, with this being the best section of the entire episode (You wanna run off with this dogshit group of crippled fucks, then fine. Be my guest.): Ending of In Harm's Way
Yeah, I heard Carver was killed early due to rewrites (also why 400 Days characters have not showed more than a determinant cameo),, and ranking the episodes for me this season:
1.A House Divided
2.In Harms Way
3.Amid the Ruins
4. All that Remains
Actually know. Surprisingly enough, I thought episode 4 was fine without him - Season 1 didn't have season long villains and I don't think season 2 really needs to either...
That's shitty, I mean I love this season so far, but I do wish the characters from 400 Days had a bigger role, I feel like I've been lied to, especially since Bonnie is the only character who has mattered, and she joins Tavia no matter what. I like Bonnie, she's not a bad character, but I would've rather had Vince or Wyatt.
And, as for me, I'd rank Season 2 something like this: 1.) A House Divided 2.) Amid The Ruins 3.) In Harm's Way 4.) All That Remains
(I'm saying this a lot lol, but I did like Episode 1, it just wasn't as exciting or as developing as the other three have been. It introduces new characters, and the scene with the dog dying and Clem stitching her arm were very good, but that's about all of the highlights of that one for me.)
