what would you have changed ?

TWD season 2 is undeniably awesome so far .... but i want to know how you guys would like to improve it.

  • I don't know about "undeniably awesome"...

Maybe more emphasis on the "can you trust the cabin group" theme in the first two episodes? Essentially the answer was "Alvin killed some dude, but yeah, pretty much, they're cool." I think it would have been interesting if the reason they were fleeing Carver's encampment was because they, or the majority of their group, were more morally-ambiguous than they turned out to be, guilty of something shocking or reprehensible rather than simply being the friendly patrons of a tyrannical leader who sometimes lock little girls in sheds.

longer episodes, shorter wait, alot of character interaction, hubs, HUGS, clementine crying.

  • How Omid died.

  • Carver would live longer and there would be some sort of battle or war between his group and Clem's group.

  • Only things I'd change Is the way they handled nicks death and Carver I feel like Carver had so much potential to be a great villian only to be killed off in 1 episode. I feel like Carver could have been what crooked man was to the wolf among us

  • Making the cabin group a bit more realistic. What i mean by that is, everyone of them except Luke, Pete and Sarah did seem to don't like Clem in my episode 1 playthrough. Carlos even told me to stay away from his daughter and in the next episode he suddenly wanted me to look after her? I mean come on...they all seem to like you, out of nowhere, no matter what you did.

Another thing that really bothered me was the fact, that no matter what decision you made at the end of episode 3 (cutting off Saritas arm, or not), the outcome was always the same. Kenny will still blame you for her death. That was just bad writing in my opinion.

  • I would have handled Nick's death differently. He would not have been shot, and he would have lines and all that good stuff.

  • Agreed, why have character developement for 2 episodes just to rug him off in the third episode and then encounter him already dead in the fourth?

scrap Sarah's death, or at least postpone it to episode 5, i am not one to complain about a character's death, believe me, i was terribly annoyed at all people who wished there was a way to keep Carley alive(curious how nobody ever said the same about Doug), she had more Character development to do! it wasn't finished! cries

....where were we? oh, yes, about episode one, i think it should have been done like this

    Omid dies

3 months time skip and some plot with Clementine and Christa

More time skips and plot with Clementine and Christa

commence the episode 1 plot that we had

Christa was with Clementine alone for 16(or was it 18? correct on on this) flipping months, thats 5-6 times more than how much she was with lee, and we the players should be attached to her accordingly, getting separated from her should have caused us all to yell in terror "OH CRAP NOOOO!!!!" , heck, let's make episode 1 all about the adventures that Clementine and Christa went through, and have the original second scene in it be the last. thats 5 times shorter than how much we got to cover the Adventures of Clementine and Lee, which lasted 5 times less time! instead, we got only 2 scenes form her the whole season, yupee

and on to the next subject!
mostly small notes rather than big rants from here on:

    1. Have nick's death be on-screen, that was just lazy writing
    2. have a talk about what the hell happened with Alvin and George, we might get one in episode 5 if Luke lives, though
    3. Have Carver be a more morally Grey villain, scrap the part where he makes Carlos hit Sarah, make him less of a sadistic, scratch the part with those absurd morals of his that justify murdering weak people, and etc. the list can go on and on, he was unrealistically and annoyingly evil
    4. more hug options :D
    5. generally have the "5 major choices" be more major, most of them only seems to affect the very scene in which they are made.

    i guess I'm done

  • I mean, Nick was arguably the best developed character this season. He just became irrelevant in a Episode 3 and Episode 4 was even worse as far as Nick. I mean, I agree with this thread on how Nick's fate should be changed and it was something like you should keep him alive until the observation deck and kill him there or something. At least let him have an impact.

  • i didnt want jane to be same as molly for one thing . and that sarahs 2nd death and nicks death in episode 4 could have been improved.

  • Cuddle Carver Option , the ability to make Carver see the light. Like in the Lego movie.

  • i also didnt like the time skips all that much

    Bring back Lee
Kenny was would act like another Lee to Clementine
    More hug options

But TellTale games still made The Walking Dead Awesome like ALWAYS!!! (Tell Tales is awesome!(

  • That's not bad writing, that's who Kenny is as a person. He looks for someone to blame in that situation because he felt powerless.

  • Kenny: I agree

  • Lee's actions and words would echoe in Clem's mind before she made a decision and more Lee references.. And a Lee dream sequence!

  • Maybe more noticable ways your choices matter. I mean, I love the story so far and the game, as you said, is undeniably awesome, but I'd also like to see the consequences of your actions in the long term (not only as determinant characters).

  • Nick die on-screen, saying his last words to ClemClem
