Who really is the father of Rebecca's child?
I think we all would like Alvin to be the father, but The Walking Dead wikia writes that Carver is the father. And upon looking at the baby, I think it might be true. The baby's hair is straight like Carver's and his skin is lighter.
What do you think? Is the the father Alvin or Carver?

I read in a comment a while ago on another thread that Dorian Lockett (Alvin's VA) confirmed it was Carver's. But I need a link or something to confirm.

I've seen people say that black babies are usually born with a light skin tone, so it might be alvins
idk, Alvins voice actor said it was Carvers but so far it looks more like Alvin but that could be because of Rebecca so hopefully we get confirmation unless if they want that to be a mystery...

I don't think they'll ever confirm who the father was. But all that matters is that Rebecca was his mother, and Kenny has taken it upon himself to be the adoptive dad.

It's Carver's. I thought so from the get-go, I didn't know whether to laugh and say, "Ha, it's Carver's baby." or to be sad because the baby was stillborn, but I eventually did the former because it started breathing.

I hope it is Alvin's baby. I would've base it on appearance though, because most of the people who are meant to be African American don't really look it. (I don't mean that in a racist way, I am African).

1.) Does it matter who the kid's father is? He's an orphan. Let it go. He's whoever's kid who wants to care for him at this point. That's like Clem was Lee's daughter. Lee took care of her. She was his.
2.) Rebecca and Alvin are African Americans. Not African. As a result, they both likely have white ancestors somewhere and thus they can have a lighter kid (even a blonde one who's white). We know nothing of Rebecca's or Alvin's parents. One of them could have been white or lighter skinned for all we know.
3.) Just because a VA said the kid is Carver's doesn't mean shit. If it's not in the game (or the comic/novels), it's not canon. No line in the game states who the baby's father is. That would be like Kenny's VA coming out and saying Kenny likes listening to jazz music. There's no indication in the game of that.
4.) To reiterate #1, the kid's father doesn't matter. It's not like he's accidentally going to have a kid with his sister or something so they have to be careful of inbreeding. He has no siblings. His entire biological family's dead.

I'm pretty sure it's Carver's because his light skin tone (I could be wrong, though, I'm pretty sure african-american babies are born with a lighter skin tone). But I told Rebecca he looks like Alvin to comfort her. Still, I don't think we'll know who the father is, this is like the discussion about who is Judith's father. Some will say Rick, some will say Shane, still we'll never know.
Until Carver's other kid shows up and DOES reproduce with it. Dunnnerrrrr.
