  • The only reason episode 2 wasn't as good as the others (in your opinion) was that perhaps it was the most heavily affected one of the rewrite of the season. And there is a lot you can say about TT and TWAU, but that it was a poor effort on their part is probably one of the least true things you can say.

  • I'd LOVE to have a second season but with all the other games TTG is working on, we may not get one for awhile. Until then, I'll be replaying the 1st and continue reading the comics. :)

  • I like a Season 2, but I'm in no rush. I rather they focus on the upcoming Borderlands game.

  • Well... I don't see why they wouldn't make a Season 2.... If decisions from Season 1 go over, then that might be a reason to buy it, Telltale already has consumers who will buy a sequel to the game and they will get money, reputation and newer fans if they do.

  • Do I want a second season? Do bears shit in the woods?

  • I honestly created an account on telltale solely to voice how much I wanted a season 2. I figure if the fans make enough noise, someone is bound to take note!

Please for the love of everything holy, I need to know that I'm not the only person craving a season 2

It's pretty much safe to say that everyone wants the second season by now, even the ones that 'claim' they don't want a second season. The people that don't want a second season are just lying to themselves.

  • Everyone craves for season 2, it's like our ultimate desire to have it so!

  • Lee:god help us! I want too!

  • I'm praying to Cthulhu

  • Im not lying to myself. I don't want a second season. Wolf among us is perfect as it is.

So was the Walking Dead season 1, it was perfect as is and fans still got more of the game anyway. (which is completely fine)

Telltale might as well try to do the same for TWAU, since TWD is getting a season 3 after all.

  • Would I like Season 2 to happen?

    Yes. Yes I would.

  • Certainly. If we show enough demand, then they will have to at least inform us about their future plans for TWAU.

  • Definitely. :)

  • Sure it's unlikely when you put that this way but we know that the witches are powerful ones. Could Crooked Man be glamoured? Could the real Crooked Man control the person who are glamoured as Crooked Man through a spell? A bit complicated but a possibility. My point is that it needs more thinking outside the box. Can Crane fix so all the people in a whole block get their memory deleted during a specific timeframe, why couldn't this also be available at a shady witch, for the right price?

But if it's true what you say that he can't come back, that would be a really waste for the story and a big mistake by Telltale. I really wanted to see his real appearance.

  • I think they absolutely should do another Season at some point. The Walking Dead will run for a third season, probably with the same themes of survival and desperation as the previous two. What made TWAU so good was that it was a totally unique project, with so much scope and potential. They could tackle multiple themes and genres with another Season, and build upon the already-developed characters. If they could find time in the comic's continuity and in their own production schedule, Telltale should definitely create another Season.

  • And by real appearance: you mean the Crooked Man's true form? Wasn't he human to begin with?

  • The difference is, Clementine's story wasnt over. We already know what happens to Bigby through the comics.

  • Episode 2 and 3 were half-assed efforts by TT, im sorry. Borderline insulting. Episodes 4 and 5 were okay but still felt kinda rushed and disjointed to me. There was obviously some kind of conflict or issue in development of this game, and IMO TT were just pumping this out so they could get it over with and move on to other things.

Yeah, but that doesn't mean they still can't make a second season for TWAU, or dlc at the very least. The game does take place about 20 or so years before the comics, according to a lot of people.

  • Yep, I took this straight outta wiki: "The Wolf Among Us is set in the year 1986, decades before the events of the first issue of Fables."

  • Ah okay, I thought it was the early eighties at first. Thank ya for the clarification.

You just summarized exactly how I feel with this sentence. The Fables universe has so much potential in terms of diversity and storytelling it would be a crime for Telltale to not tackle it at least one more time in the future. As far as I'm concerned, they could even switch to another fable with a completely new setting and characters as a last resort in case we don't get Bigby as the protagonist again.

  • That pretty much clarifies what we are all feeling. Telltale will keep producing more and more of TWD because it is their cash cow, despite the fact it can get a bit repetitive. The Fables universe has so many aspects and genres that can produce a new season with, it will be real shame if they don't continue it somehow.

  • Yup. Honestly I'd rather have a 2nd season of TWAU than the other games they're currently working on.

  • Same here. TWAU has some great potential, and seeing as they left us with a cliffhanger (the ending with the two choices), they cannot really just leave the series like that. I mean, why would they even give us CHOICES at the end if they weren't planning a sequel?

They did the same thing with Sam & Max: Season Three (giving you two choices on how to react to the revelation at the end of the game, and then having Sam & Max just go off onto more adventures, which are never shown on screen). It's not a cliff-hanger, it's just meant to show that Bigby figured the mystery out, and life goes on for Bigby and Fabletown after the events of the game.

  • There was actually a discussion in this forum a few weeks back with a link to a petition to make TT release a season 2 of TWAU. After lots of searching, I found - sign it if you want :)

  • I guess. But then again, when they did that it was Season 3, and not Season 1. I'm just saying that them doing this kinda thing on Season 1 would be rather unreasonable...
